    I've been trying for 2 or 3 years to find a tomato with that " pow " factor and I think I just saw it in Kentucky Plate , thank you for sharing it with us .
    Another great taste test video and more ideas for other varieties to try , thanks again.
    Have a great day 😊

    There's a new variety I'll be growing next year that I'd love to suggest you grow too if you haven't already . It's called Summer of love Oh!! And Lauren mentioned last podcast she's trying to find the perfect red variety that's sweet and I must suggest growing variety called Bear Claw. It's sooo good and my favorite I grew this summer and will always grow from now on 😋

      Oh yes I did grow Summer of Love. It’s in one of these taste test videos somewhere 🤣. And I just traded for Bear Claw so I’ll put it on my list grow list since it’s got your endorsement. Thanks so much ❤️

      There’s definitely a few on your list I haven’t tried. I know I have seeds for some of them already so they will be on next years list. Oh tge planning I’ll be doing soon. I’m excited already.

      @jencordial I know!! The planning. This weekend I did canning, freeze drying and went through my seeds and made my lists for next year which seeds I need to get and where I can get them. Just waiting for the extra funds. 😂😅🤣

    Michael Pollan is also called Mint Julep, not Mint Streak.

      Thank you for your correction. I so wish I could go back in time. I did have mint Julip as well. The one I tried was mint streak though not mint julip. Maybe I can correct my boo boo in a vlog coming up.

      @@jencordial I did think you probably realised afterwards but wasn't entirely sure. Love your tomato videos. Ben is a star too - love his dry, quirky humour. You do realise you are a major enabler of tomato seed collecting? Every next tomato taste test means another handful of tomato seed go on the "absolutely must have" wanted list! 😄

    Ugh I’m so bummed to hear about oaxacan jewel. I’m looking for the fruitiest of fruities (not a cherry). A few years ago I had a dr Wyches taste just like a piece of fruit, and I’ve been chasing that flavor and beyond ever since.

    • @jencordial

      Pamplemous taste very very fruity. I was surprised a slicing tomato tasted so fruity.

    Have you ever tasted Cherokee Purple Cherry? If so, how is that compared to the standard Cherokee Purple?

    • @jencordial
      @jencordial  5 місяців тому +1

      I have not grown that one. I’m not even sure if I have seeds for that one yet but I do believe I have a couple friends that will be growing at this year. I have heard good things about it though. Maybe next year I will grow it in the regular Cherokee purple, and do a video of a comparison of the two.

    Jen, do you grow single stem only or more?

    • @jencordial
      @jencordial  10 місяців тому +3

      It usually ends up being 2 stems but I learned this year not messing with my plants to much kept disease from getting ahold of them as quickly as well as spreading it to other plants.

      Oh my golly. I am more than grateful that you asked this question. So I looked at my videos trying to find the one where Ben and I taste tested Chupa Chups and couldn’t find it. I then looked back on my phone and wouldn’t ya know I have 2 more taste tests to edit that I completely skipped over. One that includes Chupa Chups. So thank you so so much. And I guess the taste test series isn’t quite over yet.
