    This is the final video is the Solo Cox series :) I think you have everything you need to begin to learn Solo Cox and finally snag those massive solo purps!! Keep in mind; if you are using a bowfa you can switch its attack style to "accurate" instead of rapid, and it becomes a 5 tick weapon and feels totally natural when doing the 4:1 head method! GL Strongboiz!

    Hey, I was a noob who was really confused with CoX as a whole raid and Olm's head turn mechanics. Even when Leagues IV was out, I really struggled with Olm and felt really overwhelmed (I remember trying to 3:0 with a shadow when I chose the Ranging relics and didn't understand why Olm was still hitting me). I got introduced to your vids when your first CoX guide got recommended to me from UA-cam and after countless deaths, I got my first dex at 20 KC and Robe top at 32 KC! I can actually go in without suiciding supplies, I have the rhythm down of how to get into cycle whenever I fall out and went from over an hour completion times with deaths to sub 40 times with no deaths! It was a lot of trial and error but I really felt like your videos made a huge difference in things clicking for me. Thank you so much man!

    Thanks for another great guide.
    I have been telling my learners to prioritize dodging crystals and turn the head on reaction. However this front-row, stay-in-cycle method looks very effective, especially for players with a good base rhythm. You're killing it with the PvM content, keep it up!

    • @VideoGameBot
      @VideoGameBot  3 місяці тому +3

      Dodging crystals is fine. We can do that in the front row as well (just make use of the front 3 rows, instead of using the front row only)
      It's a slightly more advanced strategy, and I don't want to get people confused when learning. But you can absolutely do this, you are correct :)

    I’ve fully learned solo CoX this week thanks to your guides ,after watching so many guides in the past few years and always finding them too daunting to even bother trying.
    I’ve been doing 1-0 method on headphase with Bowfa so far and it’s super slow. Should I just do this with a bowfa, or bring a rune c bow switch (seems dumb but inv space is no issue anyway?)
    I know you said this is probably the last CoX video but I’m sure I’m not alone as an Ironman relying on Bowfa who would love if you made a headphase video for Bowfa. Your guides are leagues ahead of any others for CoX. Thanks so much

    • @VideoGameBot
      @VideoGameBot  3 місяці тому +3

      This can definitely be done with a bofa. When I say its a little wonky, its because the bowfa doesnt attack on a 5 tick cycle, so there are some points in the cycle where you might finding yourself waiting an extra tick. it feels a little unnatural. However, if you switch your bofa to accurate (instead of rapid) it will become a 5 tick weapon, and will feel perfectly natural.
      That said, 5:1 bowfa is actually significantly more confusing than this. Requires quite a bit of fancy footwork (including back-of-the-room dragging mechanics, if I remember correctly). I dont like it. That why I decided to go with the 4:1 guide.
      My best recommendation? I suggest going with this 4:1 method, even with bowfa. It is twice as efficient as doing 1:0. In otherwords, the head will die twice as quick if you learn this method with bowfa relative to 1:0 range. You just might have to pay a little extra attention to your timing when learning, or switch your bofa to accurate, instead of rapid.
      I'll keep a 5:1 bowfa method in mind.

    appreciate all the guides, quick question, does olm attack on the same tick in phase 3 and head phase or does he switch? Like if he's attacking on 2 in P3 will he be attacking on 2 in head phase?

    • @VideoGameBot
      @VideoGameBot  2 місяці тому +1

    im sorry in your earlier guide you were using 5 visual metronome. now your using 4. can you say why it changed? i have been having trouble with finding olms attack tick with 5.

    • @VideoGameBot
      @VideoGameBot  3 місяці тому +1

      Are you referring to colosseum guides? We use a 5 tick metronome in colosseum because all monsters in the colosseum attack on a 5 tick cycle.
      Olm attacks/rotates on a 4 tick cycle. We use a 4 tick visual metronome when fighting olm. You can change it to 4 tick in your plugin.
      Sorry if you were getting confused coming from my colosseum guides. I try to keep different content separated by playlists.
      I hope this helps :)

      You can make the game show repeat failures/successes through the ingame settings (even if you've already beat the tasks before). I'm beginning work on a combat achievement series, so I've been experimenting with the settings a bit.
      Ingame Settings > All Settings > Combat Achievements Tasks - Repeat Failure

    • @erickmarretti5737
      @erickmarretti5737 3 місяці тому +2

      It refers to how many’s times you hit olm for every time he hits you. So 4 hits on olm for 1 attack taken by olm

    • @VideoGameBot
      @VideoGameBot  5 днів тому +1

      You can, but its not necessary. bowfa is awesome. And if you wanna do the 4:1 method with bowfa you can just put it on accurate (instead of rapid) and it becomes a 5 tick weapon :D That will set you up for perfect timing to do a 4:1 bowfa phase without having weird timing issues
