- Please help me hit 5k subs!!
In this video we show simple beginner strategies to solo every room in CM Cox. I highly recommend having fairly decent gear before attempting CM's, mainly a bowfa, a lance and a sang staff. Lower tier gear is doable, but makes the raid significantly longer and you will use more supplies.
For an in-depth guide showing how to solo olm using simple strategies you can check out this link here:

I'm getting over the flu, so please excuse my poor audio.
I hope you feel better! The audio is totally fine. I am pretty low combat level, but just want to get into it so I'm gonna try this today! Thank you for making such a straight forward guide.
@@MintyPlush Thank you! I definitely feel better its been a few days :)
I'm a maxed infernal cape returning to the game after 2 years. I really appreciate your style of guides, very easy to follow. subbed.
Really appreciate the guides and the fact that you aren't super sweaty with your methods. Not one tick switching your gear and whatnot. Just chill and relaxed to prove it's more than reasonable to do this without breaking a sweat
Many years ago I learned what 3-tick teak woodcutting method was. I remember saying to myself "if you're sweating this hard playing runescape, you're doing it wrong!"
These days I am a GM, but I still hold that same mindset :P I like doing things the easy and relaxed way, whenever possible
I cant even put to words how disgusting a mindset like this is. My god its like evolution going backwards
@lokkiirl4793 everyone is entitled to play thier game how they want to. If you don't like the content go somewhere else 😂
@@VideoGameBotawakened leviathan enters the room
@@violetb3666i don’t disagree but it’s for sure a bad mindset to call people that actually aren’t too lazy to apply themselves to their fullest potential “sweaty.” Like we get it you’ve never put 100% into anything. Doesn’t mean you get to belittle others.
Man i truly cant thank you enough for this. Ive watched countless guides and it was enough to get my 1 kc for achivement diary but I was slightly bothered that i still really didnt get it. This video paired with your solo Olm video IS THE SECRET SAUCE!!!! Incredibly digestible and broken down in fantastic fashion. It finally clicked thanks to you! Hug me brotha!🙏🏽🙏🏽
You don't know how much I appreciate thse videos. Thank you man.
Great vid. Next can we have a gamebot’s Cox reveal?
you got me back into osrs, thanks for the guides
Really learning a lot from watching these. Looking forward to your budget gear normal mode guide. Thanks.
Awesome vids bro. Keep up the good work!
Awesome mate. Didn't expect you'd actually make it. Definitely gonna enjoy watching this.
Of course I would!! Enjoy :)
Thanks man! Going to try my first solos soon.. These guides are super helpful.
Awesome! Wishing you all the luck!
Keep in mind that this video was made in a Challenge Mode raid. I highly suggest learning your first solos in normal mode. However, all the strategies you see in this guide can be performed in normal mode as well :)
Haven't watched it yet, but given how helpful the Olm guides were I can't wait to take a look. I feel like this will be exactly what I need to not hate CoX haha
edit: video did not disappoint :)
Can’t wait to see you give a chill and laid back inferno guide
I plan to! Inferno can be turned into very lazy/chill content
This guide was so helpful. You made this entire CM seem really chill, thank you! Would you mind sharing your tile markers?
Thank you. Fantastic guides for CoX. I'm getting ready for soloing it so this is the content I need. I'll have to do it in Elite Void to reduce switches for starters then upgrade from there.
Awesome! When learning cox I highly recommend starting on regular mode. While this video shows simple strategies for every boss, it was performed in Challenge Mode. Health/Defense is significantly higher in CMS, but these strats can all be used in normal mode as well.
@@VideoGameBot I didn't even notice there was a challenge mode at CoX. :D :D Tbh it doesn't seem to be more difficult then CG or ToA which I complete without issues. My problem is I didn't exactly follow proper progression with late game content so I'm missing drops from CoX and ToB and buying those is a bit of a problem, 100s of mil gp even billions for BiS weapons from those 2.
underrated channel, hope you get more attention!
Thank you :3 The amount of support this past month has been truly overwhelming. I am humbled.
you are the goat man
TYSM :) I hope this guide helps along your adventure!
@@VideoGameBot 100% Makes this a doddle!!!!
Subbed these guides are golden any chance to get the tile packs? Or link for tile markers?
Earned a sub brother, the clearest explanation of CM rooms. The best thing is you're not explaining it for speed running, I never knew you could chill out on vespula, I've always constantly ran and restored, Vasa, just brew steady away, quality stuff!
Same for Vanguards, it's put me off CM Solo thinking I don't have gear to KO all three within a few seconds.... Don't even have to :)
I remember the first time I saw vespula, it looked so intimidating. Always low hp, trying restore ASAP to get my prayer back on immediately.
Turns out you dont have to rush. You can take your time, catch your breath, and relax!
Many bosses in cox are the same way. Some are faster than others, but we dont need to be tick perfect or super efficient for much of anything. CoX can be a very relaxing raid, if you want it to be.
Just pulled a solo Dex. You are the man!
@@Tomtek654 PAYDAY!!!
Thank you very much for this video. If you haven't got a shadow, whats the next best thing to use for the smaller muttadile?
Any mage weapon! sang, trident, whatever u got.
@@VideoGameBot Great, thank you again for your clear explanations of each room.
Does the cox plugin have the tiles? or do you have an import for those?
Hey man, any chance i can get those tile markers for mystics?
Ty for this guide. How budget are you considering the budget build? Under 100m? under 200m?
For regular cox, you can get away with budget setups under 10mil. I will be making a guide soon which runs cox with a sub 5mil setup.
For CMS, the main reason to run them is for cosmetic kits for ancestral. Ancestral is like 300mil? I wouldn't run CMs with less than that. 500mil is a really good point to start running CMs
@@VideoGameBotah yeah I meant for regular cox. I am looking forward to see you solo it faster in 5m gear than i trio :D
Would this video work for Ironman normal mode cox?
following the combat rebalance, is the blue salve better than occult amulet now or do you still camp the occult for mystics.
That's a good question o.O I haven't thought about it
Are these strats applicable to your budget/learner solo raids for non CM?
Absolutely 100% I didn't use any advanced strats and they can all be carried over to normal mode as well.
2 things to note:
Room layouts in normal may be slightly different, but the theory stays more or less the same.
And depending on your gear, you may want to avoid certain rooms. Specifically rooms that start with the letter "V" (Vasa, Vanguards, Vespula). These rooms get significantly easier with gear upgrades. (bofa, lance, claws, tbow, shadow, etc)
@@VideoGameBot Thanks legend!
Can you apply these strategies to normal mode CoX?
Yes, absolutely!
would you do a guide with a shadow for olm ? even ifs its on the easier side like 2:0?
Yes! The next cox vid I upload will be the shadow method :) It's coming soon!
@@VideoGameBot awesome man i cant wait !
Nice vids man
