- Hello everyone, welcome to another railway content video featuring a compilation video of the Class 43 also known as Intercity 125 that I have filmed in 2022.
Video features Horn, High speed pass, MTU or VP185's Engine, Intercity Swallow & Intercity Executive. Operated by Cross Country, Scotrail, GWR, NMT & Midland Pullman that I have filmed in 2022, mainly filmed in Southwest of England with some filmed in Scotland when on holiday.
Some news as well that the GWR Castle Sets will be stood down over the coming weeks and months up to December 2023 where they will be replaced due to high running cost. The number of sets that be operating in 2023 will be reduced compared to the numbers operated in 2022. Recommend to grab videos of them by the end of 2023.
But I hopefully you all enjoy this video, wish everyone a happy new year and looking forward to film more of these trains.
There will never be a nicer looking HST than the 43.
Agree here as well
0:14 Nice to see an HST honoring its predecessor.

Hopefully I can get some more railway contents in this year. I didn't do much last year.
@@BensPlanesTrainsProductions i’m sure you will. Last year to catch the Castle 255’s - after December 2023 they will just be a memory 😧🫣
Yeah, well we see depending if they keep striking more.
Amazing video. Thank you for sharing. :)
Your welcome. Thank you for your time in watching the content.
Amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
Happy new year. More Airbuses please. M.
Happy New year.
HSTs are the best trains
Yes indeed they are.
Are they retiring ALL the diesel HSTs of that model or variation? They should try for a new diesel world record before they take them off service entirely. I thought one of them (presumably with multiple cars attached, line the TGV in its 2007 world-record run) went 238km/h (148mph). Perhaps this might be a good time to try for 250km/h on a straight-enough track.
Not as far as I'm aware. Only the leased has come up and they are being retired for passenger usage. Some are re leased again to work NMT works or freight workings, some are also being Exported.
End of an era. Elegance like no others.
I thought these were retired in 2019
Those blue 125’s are a complete eye sore.
Nope..
