My home station and great video as always, I didn't realise how much freight passes through the station and @ 41:34 was what iv been waiting to see.. 👍👍
You struck upon a goldmine there my friend, I've never seen so much freight passing through Banbury in a single session, let alone having a test train making an appearance. You've put together an incredible film there. Congratulations.
I didn't actually plan this one very far in advance and I was lucky with the number of freights. I definitely took inspiration from you on this one having never been to Banbury before. Thanks for the kind comments as always!
Wow excellent video Ross!! So much freight there and those 70s sound absolutely delicious passing through there thats why they are my favourites! Some great catches of the special liveried 220005 and avanti voyager as well as the test train and the 50s going to the paint works!
Looks like you had a good day at Banbury Ross. The GBRf 50s was a bonus to catch plus a test train as well. Thanks for sharing and have a nice weekend.
Brilliant video i understand the freight sector are pressuring EWR to go for full electric Cambridge to Oxford so they can use the line which makes sense as it would get shot of the London northern line gridlock,
Some excellent shots of freight trains passing at quite a speed. I have been to Banbury and it’s a good place to visit. Even the railway station itself also looks very nice. Have you seen one of Chiltern Railways trains that have got a brand new livery.
Hi Ross, Great video as usual I was just wondering if you have seen the class 323 on Birmingham cross city recently because they are no longer running😢
I haven’t seen it personally but I have seen it on social media. It looks interesting! 168106 should be the next one in that livery. Thanks for watching Merlin 🙂
I believe, 2R stands for 2 car reversing. This is the position the train needs to stop to be in the best place for reversing and going back. Thanks for watching.
Want a tip on how to properly video trains.... "When recording a train passing a location, "Pan" with the engine not the blank side of the tender or any trailing cars! " Trust me it makes for a better viewing experience..
Some great variation. That station looks absolutely depressing though. Typical ugly 70s style ugliness. I hope they have some plans to at least freshen it up sometime soon.
Nice one Ross, good to see some variation of freight in the videos and locomotives. Hope your doing well. Thanks for sharing.👍
Variety is always my goal and although some of the specifics are unplanned, I always try and make the best possible video. 😃

Great video Ross. It's great to see all the freight you saw. I do like this stretch of line for freight and loco variety 👍🏻

Now i know why the name plates on 50007 and 049 were missing.
Amazing video as always, great to see those 50s and a good mixture of freight well done
Amazing video as always Ross!
Thank you ENC, I’m really proud of this one! 😃👍🏻
Nice to see you reaching over 20k subscribers. Do continue with your videos and content as always. 😊
Thank you so much 😀

Thanks Arnold, the 50s were going to be repainted. I’ve always been told Banbury is a great spotting location and it certainly was! 😎
@@StarlifeStudios thank you ross
Wonderful video, cheers.
Cool keep it up Ross
Happy Sunday Ross!

@@theimperialist2686 Thanks Imperialist :)

I hope you had a fun time at banbury ross
It was a nice sunny (mostly) day with trains, what’s not to love? 😃

Cool video. Nice one. Have a great day. 😀

Great video ross
Thanks Zuuu!
@@StarlifeStudios no worries
Those dips at either end of the station look worrying! (I know it was 3 months ago so probably have been sorted)
7:56 rail singing 🎶 🗣️
Hi Ross, Great video as usual I was just wondering if you have seen the class 323 on Birmingham cross city recently because they are no longer running😢
I have a video with the 323s coming up soon. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to do any filming on the farewell rail tour day. Thanks.
class 220 views = class 220001
Brilliant video! Annoying when you see a rare train or a train that you just want to see and they dont give you any tones 8:58 good shot there tho
Thanks SouthWest, horns are always nice but it’s not something I worry about. Seeing the rare train is often enough for me.
What camera did you use for this video?
the dispatcher was a bit nutty
A lot of freight trains 😂
Have you seen the new 168 livery yet?
I haven’t seen it personally but I have seen it on social media. It looks interesting! 168106 should be the next one in that livery. Thanks for watching Merlin 🙂
What do the 2R, 4R and 3F car stop markers mean with the letters?

@@StarlifeStudios Ah thank you this was a great video
Hey Ross, did you see a 220005 on 1V87?
Yes! It was the first time I’d seen the pride voyager. Very bright indeed!
@@StarlifeStudios Did he make it's return on 1E56?
Can you go to kings Sutton next
Can freight trains carry cars?
What is speed
That station needs some serious rebuilding, doesnt it?
