I heard this song on the radio when I was a kid. My parents played it. I thought it was old foggy then. Now that I hear this it’s so beautiful. They had the best music then!
I was just browsing and clicked on Lani Hall’s picture. What a nice surprise! Added to my favorites.
When I hear these songs , I think of my mom in the house , cleaning, cooking with the sterio on 1968 -1973. Or just calmer times , Saturday's and sundays
Tell that to the hundreds dying a week in Vietnam. Calmer? I think not
Mario Cisneros
Indeed.
yeah that would turn me on too, not
It's like living a dream all the time, even only in our minds.
Calm??? Rfk, mlk, namm, Kent State, Altamonte, wategate, etc.... In 68 I was 3 and scared shitless, hiding under the desks preparing for nuclear war while my dad petrolled our burning city in full military gear oh the good old days.......when you could go to jail for dating a dude or having a few seeds in the ashtray.
Timeless music. For me just its yesterday and I’m 24 again!
Best rendition and it stands on its own like an original. 🎼
What a fantastic version of this
True .
OOOH . The voices, the rythm, the spaces between the notes! Such class and good taste from this wonderful ensemble.
Thank you for posting.
Looking back to this time period in music and culture, we knew it was special when it was live. What we didn't know is how depraved we would become.
Such a timeless and haunting song - beautifully arranged and sung - makes you realise how much dross passes for music nowadays 😔
Smoooooth. I loved this as a kid, and I love it more now. Just cool as hell.
One of my favorite groups, these beauties are now close to my age, and, I am 67 yr old. Timeless music to be cherished by all!

Just love Sergio Mendez … they beautifully added their special touch to this song!
From Niterói to the World. Great Sergio Mendes. Very good.
Absolute perfection! In my opinion, the most perfect pop song, ever.
