Montecito January 9, 2018

On January 9, 2018, in the wake of a massive wildfire above Montecito, California, a freak rainstorm launched a catastrophic flow of mud and rocks into the sleeping community. This 22-minute documentary features interviews with four survivors-Lalo Barajas, Marco Farrell, Mark Karpeles, and Curtis Skene- and includes rare footage and photos by first responders. The documentary was produced by Melinda Burns and Hap Freund.
