  • Read the Mind of a spectator with this super easy magic book test... In fact, there are TWO book tests - Perform One or both!
Full performance and Reveal Tutorial at the end.
Fun and Magic using Harry Potter Books (but ANY books will work). A Book is freely chosen, A Page is randomly selected, A Word is committed to memory. Despite the impossible, the performer can reveal the word immediately. AMAZING MAGIC!
    Practice and Enjoy!
If you want to view an even better book test than mine then check out this video from Trinity - I still cannot work out how he does it!

Two absolutely fantastic book tests my friend👏👏👏👏👏. You could use a crib sheet for the first one, fish for clues and then write you prediction down, save you trying to remember all the words and page numbers. 👍😊👍

Cheers mate. But it's still not as impressive as the Book test you did a while ago! Maybe send us a link and I can let viewers watch your one.

One of the classic book tests gave me a reputation as a "psychic" some years ago. I don't remember exactly which one now because it was 40+ years ago, but I can say these two are much better! Thanks a million!

Thanks for comment. I'm like you also, not a great fan of most book tests, but I think in the right environment they can be good. Only did these 2 as I had a few people ask for a basic book test.

These are really great ideas for a book test, I especially like the second one. Just a thought, if you’re already going to use a guide for the 13 words perhaps have the 13 words for all 3 books on the sheet. This way the spectator really can choose any book and you can eliminate having to use equivoque.

Very good methods! I greatly enjoy your videos and content. Thank you! If I may, I have a great suggestion for a book test that I perform, and it's an easy method and if you like, I'd love to see you make a tutorial on for others to enjoy.
I use the "Toxic" calculator force on my cell phone calculator or someone else's calculator and simply remember the word for the predetermined number I have chosen to force. I usually make it a 4 digit number, and I tell them to use the first two numbers for the page, the third number for the paragraph, and the last number for the word in that paragraph. I make the force number end in small numbers, for example the force number would be something like 7828 and I'll make it seem as if I come up with everything in that moment. I'll tell them to multiply any two digit number by any two digit number. Then I'll say ok, that's a good number. Go ahead and go to page 78, second paragraph, and remember the 8th word. Then I'll say, now there's no way I could've known what numbers you'd multiply, and no way I could've known what answer you'd end up with, right? And of course they'd say no. But all along you already knew the page, paragraph, and of course, the word. It gets great reactions.
You can use the number force for so many predictions other than book tests, which you already know I'm sure, but this seems to work really well. I came up with this method for book tests, but I'm sure I didn't invent it of course, I'm sure many others have probably already used this method before as with most magic, it's usually already been thought of by someone else. But I decided it was a great way to force a word. Sorry for the extended remarks, but I would really enjoy it if you would like to teach this method. Thanks again for your wonderful work and videos, I appreciate all you do. Take care!

In which world does a king equate to 13?
For me, a king is worth 4 points in all good card games (skat, Doppelkopf).
Great explanation of the methods though! :)
