You can actually chain some long ranged spells into this to knock her down again like Giant's Flame Take Thee or Cannon of Haima Anyway it's good to see my favorite weapon from DS2 making a comeback in Elden Ring lol
Malenia is like Alonne. Easily one of the toughest bosses in their respective games, entirely optional, and very satisfying to defeat without taking any damage.
I burst out laughing when you casted Gavel of Haima, objectively the funniest thing in the game imagine fighting a wizard but instead of a fireball he just has hammerspace and bonks your shit
My 2nd (and most recent) char I made for when SOTE came out was similar to this, with a dip into faith for stuff like Rykard's Rankor too where the strat was to cast 2-3, then engage in melee to keep the boss there so most explosions would hit. Granted, it was a bit more of a Magic Knight/ Cuckoo Knight cosplayer char, but similar spellblade concepts applied ~ very very fun, hard to use well (especially due to the struggles to swap between spells, and no scrollback, lol), but fun.
