A deal breaker for me is the lack of solar function. Everytime you need to change the battery you need to open it which isn't ideal for water-resistance. The reflection on the mineral glass since there's no ar coating is also a deal breaker. Just my opinion.
I found the beginning a bit silly unless you did for laughs? The location indicator wont work if it cannot connect to the app! It gets your current location via the phones GPS so the app has to be open and within range.
I used to have a gravity master and almost every two years I spent around 60 dollars in 2 batteries in the authorized service. I found the ggb 100 with 40% of and I can't resist to bought it, I'm happy but I'm a little worried about the change of batteries.

Hi Tony...I have the cheaper bb100 and it's a great watch I use without fear of damaging...in the garden or out in the woods. Though I still lust after the 2000 just for its looks alone! I do wish it had same feature as the bb100 if so I would buy it. In my mind its a lot of cash for less features...perhaps one day I might pull the trigger...cheers
I think the gg b100s return to location feature depends on being connected to your phone on Bluetooth, so if you ever need that feature just use your phone.
Saw one of these when I was picking up my Tissot PRX today and I very nearly chose the G-shock. It’s a watch I need to have in my collection. As a life long G-Shock collector this really blew my mind. It feels solid and almost too nice to take mountain biking. I have a few nice watches if anyone fancies a swap.
The ggb100 is a beast... The person who said they couldn't get the battery changed must be on LSD... A 10 year old could change it.. seriously, what a laugh. My current battery has been going strong now for nearly 3 years! Admittedly neither the compass nor altimeter get used very often but all other functions are, including the light... Best value muddy by far... Team one up with a set of Jays and Kays adaptors and either a black bracelet or black and grey Camo NATO and it's almost the perfect everyday watch. Not to mention the price isn't gonna send ya broke.... Mate, how can you even compare this monster to that of a smart watch? Get me a bucket..... Loving all things G
I'm looking to ditch my gg1000 to get the gwg2000 just because of the battery. Once a year it dies and the watch just sits until I take it in for replacement. And it's getting harder to find someone to change it. I love the watch but I'm losing interest in it I battery is always dead.
You're the second person who has stated this issue regarding batteries and how difficult it is to replace them someone else in comments said the same. Its annoying its so difficult they make it harder by having straps covering the base plate screws. The gwg 2000 is a fab watch you'll love it. I got 10% off my order as advertised on fb lol I think they offering 15% if shop around.

I'd pay even more if there was a Mudmaster that was like a gwg2000 but with their fully loaded module. I think that's what all of us desire. For now we have to choose solar or more module features. The direction thing kinda useful but very limited in real world us. The 2000 really trumps the b100 but we have to give all a chance and show folks different things play the algorithm game a bit too on UA-cam lol but it's actually fun and I enjoy keeping it fun light and just bit different from others. That’s what I did! I’ve had my GGB100 for 3.5 years now, and was wearing it daily all day. Two weeks ago I got the GWG2000-1A1 and now my GGB100 is my dedicated work watch since I work in construction and don’t wanna mess up the GWG. 👍
You can easly scratch gwg 2000 bezel and steel components or dirt get under a bezel and you need to clean it and changing/taking it off is pain in the a** on gwg 2000 not like in gwg 1000 where you just take it off. That my point of view😉Btw, Great videos and greatings from Poland 🇵🇱

A little secret in the original I forget to mention baro but its not really needed to mention as we looking at differences but it was odd editing I mentioned altimeter but not baro so I just made video shorter by removing my one minute of altimeter as it's covered in sensors video lol so just about got away with it 😉 Glad you enjoyed the video. random question. I cant change hometime to utc so I cant figure it out. If you set world time to utc and save it it turns into (UTC) with parenthesis. If you live there does it set it to london automatically? UTC or (UTC). jw!
It does not. If you saw my video with old casio in it then I know the solar battery eventually dies and won't hold squat. Its a pain to change too lol I'll do a video on it one day :)

Hasn't been around long enough for battery to die. Battery rated 4-5 years. Some peopleessage things just to get attention or be negative about an item
If by Home feature you mean holding down the Mode button that brings you directly back to Time, the most Casio ani-digi have this feature. Even the GA-2100/2110 do this.

Bad experience with "solar" i had a coworker very expensive solar that is basically trash now. I had a solar as well that i had to change the entire movement because it was totalled. So yeah, i bought a gg baby... Absolutely no regrets.

Really? car battery , remote control batteries need changing one time or another , even solar power batteries will need to be replaced in 10 years or so too , unless you can up with a battery that can last a life time .

I now own both of these watches. I’ve changed the battery on my GGB100 twice, and it’s not difficult, nor has it caused harm to the watch. A precision Phillips screwdriver, a pair of tweezers, and a gentle cleaning and re-lubing of the gasket, and it’s done in 15 minutes and it’s good to go for two more years. I am however very happy that I won’t have to change my GWG2000 battery for at least a decade hopefully.
Before we start solar ....esential ..all this briz briz functions and sat com takes lot of juice if you want a serious survival watch than solar is a must! Following no radio signal it has blue tooth link to the phone to correct himself paramount! So the phone is dead the watch follows?. The navigation is bothered by the main hour and minutes arm displays if down at 06 hundred you can't move them...its clear this is their first attempt to sell somthing like this then the developed more through gwg 1000 which is not that good and then they got better quality with gwg 2000 ....so yep this is crap.
I have Mudmaster and Rangeman gpr-b1000-1er and the Rangeman is absolutely great! I dont need a cellphone For navigation because The rangeman uses GPS satellites, not phone. And it has a wery large battery capasity with powerful solar charging. I cant even remember when i charged it last time ..maybe 2-3 months ago.
I've been wearing the GG B100 for 1.5 years now. - every day Original battery and not a scratch. In other words, mineral glass holds up fine.
