@seyerus if you want to use the location tracking then you need the app, and if you're in the wilderness for a decent length of time you will want to conserve your mobile battery for emergencies, so not that helpful for the hardened users. That said it's still a cool feature to have
It seems to me that these are three different watches that happen to have the Mudmaster name attached to them. People get so uptight trying to figure out which is the “best”, or what Casio should or shouldn’t have done. Just relax! Casio knows you’re going to buy them all sooner or later, plus the 3000, 4000, 5000, etc.
Apart from the materials and Bluetooth they're essentially the same. And though I created the content and shouldn't agree, I don't disagree with your sentiments! It's par for the course I'm afraid, lol
I never bought the 1000 or 2000 because it just seemed always like the bluetooth version would come soon. Glad it's here, but not sure about the styling.

It's all very interesting as the GWG 2000 also comes in so many variations globally and now this new release of the B1000. yes what u say re the differences of the 2000 Vs 1000, basically the same except for the carbon reinforced PEEK resins which they patented I believe, maybe this was really a "beta" in disguise to trial how it would go. Some viewers on my channel have spoken about rusting (although minor) at the base of the 4 bolts which anchor down the peek end plates on the 2000 -because now they are real bolts as apposed to the fake 1000 bolts any water/moisture could accumulate in this design. Plus the bigger price diff, no improvement over charging regimes of the 2000 vs the 1000 etc. BTW thanks again for watching my vids. U also might find my blog on watches interesting too and I have subbed to your channel as well. @BushcampingTools
Definitely no change other than more costly replacement parts and exposed areas for mud and the like to get stuck under/in. Quite possibly. I personally think the rust is down to galvanic corrosion due to the moisture and the carbon fibre touching the steel components, there isn't a barrier between the parts as there is with the likes of aircraft where they use a layer of fibreglass between the carbon fibre sections and aluminium sections for that exact reason. A channel called G-Shock HighFashion disassembled his 2000 in a video and you can clearly see lots of specs of rust, especially where there is a lubricant between a button, the carbon core and steel section: ua-cam.com/video/iJtaAdjOL3o/v-deo.html&t No worries at all, great content!! What is the the point of making a ‘review’ video before release and before you’ve even handled or seen the watch. Prat.
Well thank you for your calm, collect and unhateful comments! Insider information shows that the 2000 has not sold anywhere near the same volumes as the 1000 in the first 6 months since the launch, that because the 1000 was out for about 9 years and most people don't want to spend another 600/700 for essentially the same watch. I said it was cool if you listened instead of being so obnoxious and hot headed, the annoyance for most not all, is the B1000 relies on using the app for tracking, well whenever I've gone out for 2 to 3 weeks in the wilderness my phone is switched off to conserve battery for emergencies and I rely on paper maps and a compass, Bluetooth for me and many others is therefore pointless.
The GWG 2000 is the weaker looking less handsome , less successful little brother of the GWG 1000. Everyone knows this.
@@odenirongiant They even based the new GWG-B1000 on the GWG-2000. Bwahahahahahaha
@seyerus If that's the case , what in the world was G Shock thinking? However the B 1000 does at least look a teenie bit better than the 2000. I guess it was a hasty knee jerk creation to try and offset the disappointing 2000 sales.
