Thank you! Yes the UP passenger cars are an absolute must if you operate the UP steam or excursion fleet. Lionel is brining out some later this year and occasionally they come up online!
Such a cool video. Living in Utah where this locomotive was actually designed and built to run between here and Wyoming, this has a special place for me. Awesome collection my friend
Thank you! These locomotives are absolutely amazing! It was such an amazing experience to see this locomotive back in 2019 for the 150th! Stay tuned for Part 3: The Great Race to Ogden!
The real Big Boy is enormous! I’m so happy Lionel decided to put this locomotive in the 2019 vol 2 catalog. I’m wondering how the new VL UP 4014 edition is going to be!?
Can you imagine what it was like to pull on her throttle? For the first time in 60 years, and she started to move under steam? Also, what it was like to light her fire for the first time in 60 years?!
I can only imagine! When I heard that the UP was going to restore a Big Boy I couldn't believe it! Lady Lionel and I were able to make it to Utah for the 150th and it was the best train trip I've ever had! :)
Great video. I need to get those passenger cars.
