Exactly, rigging is a big part. And Center of gravity for lifts. Bad rigging, on heavy loads especially, turns wire rope into a wire whip destroying anything in its path.
The way you handled the question if you needed any help was awesome. It's like being a Chef and having someone ask "is there anything I can do?" You already know what has to be done and in order to explain it would take away precious seconds on the set up and safely securing the rig . Kudos and blessings my friend
As always Ron, you handled it the best and safest way you could and with professionalism. I like to watch how you set yup and perform all your riggings. It always impresses me.
Hey Ron, another great recovery. Andy at Farming, Fixing and Fabricating recently did a trailer recovery. He didn't have a rotator but he had some big chain and a big John Deere. He titled the video "Ron Pratt would be proud". Check it out if you haven't already.
And God Bless to you, your crew and family, too. I enjoy your thinking at solving a problem so quickly. At 26 plus years at my job, there is so much tribal knowledge learned that it’s hard to package it in a few talks.
Hi Ronny i just want to ya know this one of my favorite video as ur tow trucks .. I really want to help with tow trucks but I love that watch u do jobs ..have good luck with that try trucks man
Ron . Just to tell you that you on my prayers line with a lot truck driver like you and your family. You all are God kids and look after you. So be safe and look after your safe. Old truck Kitchener Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
Very much appreciate you talking about what you;'re thinking. And it was awesome to see you and the client where not going to rely on the county/state maintenance to fix the road!
Always love your videos. Love watching the different ways you handle each recovery you do. Always something different yet always perfectly performed time after time.
Looked like the job was clean, professional, safe, and a win. That's all that really matters, even if there might have been "better" ways. Lifting vs. dragging is a judgement call, where both could work, and just exchanges one set of risks and stresses for another.
Gotta love those simple tricks like using a zip tie to feed the rim sling through easier. The type of tricks that make you go how did I never think about that before
That trick with the zip ties shows you're never to old to learn. Threading them could have been a pain otherwise. Thanks from the UK for another enjoyable video
I am really impressed with that small light on the back of your truck. That is a lot of light for the size. Technology. Ron we know the drill. The many ways to get to the number 10!
As always flawless execution. Made that job look effortless. I thought for a minute youd have to lift that front end back up but sure enough it came up on its own.
It’s Friday, hooray.!! The power of the winches on Tator is incredible. Does pulling on the wheels, Ron, damage the suspension /transmission etc.. Another excellent vid. Roy W Nantwich 🇬🇧
So I was picking up a toolbox I just bought, and I was with the rollback driver, and he was new. So...I rolled up my sleeves and we loaded up this box, using what Ive learned seeing on your channel. It was tricky in more ways that one, from simply getting it on the platform on very uneven pavement, so rigging up the straps for the long drive home in very gusty winds, to unloading it at my place between a bunch of cars and limited space. But we did it, and despite being disabled, I pulled my weight, doing I would say half the loading/unloading bit. So thanks Ron.
What! A job you have, when you help save a guy's truck, from rolling over- instead of saying thanks!he starts looking for damages to him TRUCK! - what sweetheart!🥺
I keep seeing your guys pop up more and more over here on the other side of the river! Saw the semi and trailer the other day and the western start a couple weeks ago, crazy to think how close we are lol
The zip tie idea from a viewer was so simple you would think the rim sling manufacturer could build in something similar but more durable. Setup and teardown took longer than the actual pull. Good safe video. Thanks Ron.
Another good video and recovery. It looks like gravel road is tapered on the sides for water drainage. Easier for vehicles to get pulled to the shoulder side where the water drains off, whether it's gravel or asphalt. Stay safe out there.
It takes more to rig up 🛠than to do the actual pull. Good job as usual Ron. Nice of that one man to grab a shovel and scoop the dirt back. Stay safe and watchen for the next one.
Assalamualaikum wr wb ... Greetings to all of us, Om swastiastu, greetings of kindness. Proud and happy that I can attend. Prayers from me that your channel will grow and become the favorite channel of the audience, beginner UA-camrs like me are very inspired to learn. May health and success always accompany you, as well as for all those present ... Aamiin. Always waiting for the latest video ... Greetings,
The zip ties is a great idea. And for getting the truck out you did good bro. Each wrecker driver is different. So each has their own ways. I know from watching you I have put your methods to good use.
Andy ended up with further damage to the trailer in trying to pull it out. The driveway was blocked and they were held up on chopping untill they had it out.
I find electric ties are brilliant for a lot of things. We used them when we used to go camping. We had a folding camper, and to add an awning to it, it had to be zipped to it, and we would put in electric ties into the tongue of the zip and make a loop, and voila, you just used that as a loop to pulled it, so easy!!!
If you ever get a CB handle, it seems Rotator Ron fits ya best, even though you dont always use the rotator. Rotator Ron would probably also be a good YT handle.
I heard him ask about a front end alignment. Is it common to need one after pulling from the rim as long as nothing was bent. First time I've heard that question in all of your videos and I've watched them all multiple many times since I became a subscriber around your 47k mark
Ron, that could have had a different outcome if he hit the gas line and another job well done and God Bless you and your family and friends and stay safe and be careful
Nice of you to give credit when someone has passed a good idea along to you. I'm sure there are plenty of times when others have also gotten good ideas from you.
It is funny how I watch your videos. He's going for the wheel slings, he's going for the wheel slings.... no, he's reaching for the Yankum rope! nope, wheel slings !!!! Between you and Lock Picking Lawyer my wife thinks I'm nuts.
Nice work Ron. Stay safe 👍
It warms my heart that your first concern is to see if anyone is hurt or injured. I love your videos.
Kudos to the viewer who recommended the tie straps!!
Damn Ron, when you hit all the lights in the cab the outside world lights up like your the sun!
Nice job! You made it look easy! Experience pays off.
At 3 minutes when you hit the lights I almost went blind. You may need to add a seizure warning. That driver has a guardian angel.
Your program should be title, “Rigging School”!
I find that aspect the most interesting every episode! Thanks, enjoy your adventures!!!
I did that work for many years-- trained by AAA and several private agencies- basic physics, etc.- and I have to say Ron's the BEST I EVER SAW!!!
Exactly, rigging is a big part. And Center of gravity for lifts. Bad rigging, on heavy loads especially, turns wire rope into a wire whip destroying anything in its path.
I've started trying to figure how Ron is going to rig something.
Mr Ron, Awesome video as always. Thanks for sharing and stay safe out there.
The way you handled the question if you needed any help was awesome. It's like being a Chef and having someone ask "is there anything I can do?" You already know what has to be done and in order to explain it would take away precious seconds on the set up and safely securing the rig . Kudos and blessings my friend
Add in the problem of making sure something was done, and done correctly. Can't make assumptions.
No matter how old you are, you learn something new every day.
Once again, Ron and the rotator make it look easy.
The trick with the tie wraps was really neat. So simple and obvious but most of us would never think of it.
I was going to comment on the tie wraps but you said it best👍
You make it look easy to get things done no wasted movement or steps thanks for sharing
Thank you for letting me see this video.
Stay safe out there Ron. And your crew.
On the zip ties, you are never too old to learn new tricks. Keep safe Ron,
I give you a 10 on this one Ron! I enjoy your videos young man.
Gotta love the simple jobs. Makes for a nice change every so often.
You made it look easy, Ron! Great decision + execution = 10!
special thanks to the person that give Ron the idea of using a zip tie on the rim slings!
Zip ties are awesome! I use them to help keep long cable runs together.
I'm guessing it was an elekchicken - they frequently use the same idea for fishing wires into wall cavities. :-)
👍
As always Ron, you handled it the best and safest way you could and with professionalism. I like to watch how you set yup and perform all your riggings. It always impresses me.
Hey Ron, another great recovery. Andy at Farming, Fixing and Fabricating recently did a trailer recovery. He didn't have a rotator but he had some big chain and a big John Deere.

Thank you for another great video. I have enjoyed all your video's. God bless everyone and special thanks to all the first responders. 🇨🇦
Always love to hear your written and vocal comments about the "why" you're doing things!!
I really want to help with tow trucks but I love that watch u do jobs ..have good luck with that try trucks man
Glad that you’re feeling better than previous videos. God bless and keep you and yours safe as you serve in your vocation of rescue and recovery.
Wow !!! Intelegence technique I salute you sir..... i keep this idea to how rescue the trailer truck. Keep it up Sir Ron
Ron . Just to tell you that you on my prayers line with a lot truck driver like you and your family. You all are God kids and look after you. So be safe and look after your safe. Old truck Kitchener Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
Hey Ron, thanks for thanking the subscriber who suggested the ziplock wrap approach.
Great idea!!!
Keep w
Very much appreciate you talking about what you;'re thinking. And it was awesome to see you and the client where not going to rely on the county/state maintenance to fix the road!
My weekend isn’t complete without a Ron Pratt video! Thanks Ron and your team for giving me this entertainment! Stay safe y’all! ❤️
Ron I hope your Staying warm. Been down in the low 40s the past couple nights here in southern West Virginia. And as always another great videos.
Always love your videos. Love watching the different ways you handle each recovery you do. Always something different yet always perfectly performed time after time.
That went well and NO additional damage was caused. Thank goodness the truck was empty. 👍
That co. has become a good client of yours. Well done, Ron !!
Good Morning Mr Ron Pratt Sir & God Bless You & All Of You're Whole Family & Staff
Looked like the job was clean, professional, safe, and a win. That's all that really matters, even if there might have been "better" ways. Lifting vs. dragging is a judgement call, where both could work, and just exchanges one set of risks and stresses for another.
Awesome video Ron. Wow! You got there just in time. The truck was still shifting and it was about to get ugly for the truck. Great save.
Gotta love those simple tricks like using a zip tie to feed the rim sling through easier. The type of tricks that make you go how did I never think about that before
Every time I watch I’m amazed by the truck it’s just amazing the power it has but of course you have to know how to use that power.
@mike Gilmer ,
Indeed! Tator just seems like a nice glove on the master's hand; it's such a beautiful extension of Ron's experience and skill!
Ron Pratt does it again and again!
That trick with the zip ties shows you're never to old to learn. Threading them could have been a pain otherwise. Thanks from the UK for another enjoyable video
Well done Ron a good clean job 🇬🇧👌
Yes I think that the low level pull from the side was the best approach. Great job Ron. God bless
I love watching your videos I would not have thought of zip ties on rim slings the viewer that came up with that is awesome thanks for the tip
Love all youre live videos, keep.up the great works thank you for sharing these with us
You are doing a great job
Another perfect recovery! Keep up the great work.
I am really impressed with that small light on the back of your truck. That is a lot of light for the size. Technology. Ron we know the drill. The many ways to get to the number 10!
In which base? :-) Counting in binary (base 2) is easy. 01, 10.
Learning never stops. And again I learned something new.
You know wht i learned today?
Thank you for my friday afternoon entertainment Ron! Stay safe, much love!
Friday with Ron and TATOR!!
Stay safe and God bless

Its the little tricks that are so useful.
What! A job you have, when you help save a guy's truck, from rolling over- instead of saying thanks!he starts looking for damages to him TRUCK! - what sweetheart!🥺
nice job Ron
I keep seeing your guys pop up more and more over here on the other side of the river! Saw the semi and trailer the other day and the western start a couple weeks ago, crazy to think how close we are lol
The zip tie trick is ingenious. Your viewers are clever!
Great work sir!

Hello Ron having a late start prays for all involved be safe and have a bless day
🐸 nice way to start a busy day...
Stay safe and God bless
Thank you again for another great video, stay safe and always blessed.
That tie strap really works great! Another lesson from Ron!
It takes more to rig up 🛠than to do the actual pull. Good job as usual Ron. Nice of that one man to grab a shovel and scoop the dirt back.

Good job! I remember Mark from when one of his other trucks went off the road. He's become a UA-cam star. God bless.
Good Job Ron and Good video 👍
Nice 👍
Now here is a man worth every cent of his hourly rate - no fuss, no foolin'. Ron, you have a new subscriber.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for the compliment. Hope you enjoy the content. God bless.
@@RonPratt God bless, stay well, stay busy Ron
Thanks for the videos! Much appreciated! There’s more to running a wrecker with your unit than other small wreckers.
Could have been a very dangerous situation. Thanks for sharing
Good morning 👍
Nice work!!! Eating dinner, watching and learning. 🤜🤛
Riggs like that or all your straps okay this is Bob from Vero Beach Florida God bless and have a great day
Another trick with the zip ties is to hold them bent and apply some heat so they are curved and find their way to the next hole.
The zip ties is a great idea. And for getting the truck out you did good bro. Each wrecker driver is different. So each has their own ways. I know from watching you I have put your methods to good use.
Woohoo any midwest video! Stay safe and God bless you Ron
Midwest is the best! At the other in the state across the creek from Quincy Illinois! Lol
What a Friday morning coffee , a roll and the Tator on the big screen thx Ron God bless be safe always watching
Ron. Friday night entertainment before I head off to bed Thank You Gods Speed and Prayers La Pine Oregon
Andy from Farming Fixing and Fabricating had one of his silage semi go into the ditch and he called it Ron Pratt would be proud. It was a cool video.
Andy ended up with further damage to the trailer in trying to pull it out. The driveway was blocked and they were held up on chopping untill they had it out.

You're a big scary Ron...you make what we all know is an incredibly complicated job look easy.
Awesome video as always. Have a wonderfully blessed weekend.
Prayers always
Nice job Mr Ron.
Yeah 👍, how are you
Great vid keep up the hard work
Ron, that could have had a different outcome if he hit the gas line and another job well done and God Bless you and your family and friends and stay safe and be careful
Oh yeah it would.
Nice job. Only thing that made it "hard" was the gas line. The power on the rotator is still impressive
Awesome work you do. Keep up the awesome videos and be Safe out there. God Bless

Yeah that one was way to close. Great job Ron. God bless
Nice of you to give credit when someone has passed a good idea along to you. I'm sure there are plenty of times when others have also gotten good ideas from you.
New camera very good pictures and sound
It is funny how I watch your videos. He's going for the wheel slings, he's going for the wheel slings.... no, he's reaching for the Yankum rope! nope, wheel slings !!!! Between you and Lock Picking Lawyer my wife thinks I'm nuts.
