How To Build A Simple Truck Wood FlatBed

- Building a flatbed for my Nissan D21 Hardbody! I wanted the flat deck to be super simple and quick to build! I just use this truck to get firewood around my acreage. This build took me less than 2 hours total time in the garage and I was not going at a quick pace lol. Very easy truck box build that could be applied to most trucks. #acreageliving

Juan Palos bolted to the frame, used existing holes in frame, drilled through 4x4’s. Put lag bolt through, used large washers on frame side! Nothing to it!

How much did this cost
nothing, i had all this wood already. Just bought this house recently and this wood was in the barn :) But it wouldnt cost very much to build if purchasing all the wood from the store Easily under $100
if you have a 6ft bed could you make a 8ft wood flat bed?
you could but instead of running your supports width wise like i did in this video, you would want them run length wise and the full length of the bed, and possibly width supports too on top of the lengthwise supports. kinda like making a grid. my one ton is 2 feet longer than stock bed, but its metal.
