As someone who got into Destiny huge for 2 years in 2021 and then stopped playing, I find it insane how much just the music of the game attracts me. I want to install it right now.
Because it's in space. In Sci-Fi, especially, space is the only place in these types of games where you can truly be alone. And when you are that alone, you get to reflect on the things you do have.
This was Season of Arrivals for me, also when the Darkness nearly killed us all AGAIN. A SECOND Collapse. Though the rest of the theme sounds pretty relaxing.
heads up I do remember the DSC raid's "Athanasia" also being a part of the orbit music in BL (possibly started playing after the raid was first cleared)
@@Fel_artificial yeah, i miss the vanilla campaign. I remember scrambling to beat the final level literally the day before beyond light launched. I love the journey ost so much
Well they are propelled with a rocket. If you have rockets, you have to have stabilizers. Its most likely just keeping itself stable because even at idle, its still going pretty fast.
As someone who came in between year 2 and 3 I find year 4 orbit music to be the worse, the music itself is fine but it doesn’t give that odd nostalgia feeling that the older years did for me, it can’t really I just wish bungie let you pick what year music you want, etc. or custom tracks from each year into a playlist...

Why is destiny orbit music so sad and lonesome
Well, your in the most desolate place in the universe.
Because it's in space. In Sci-Fi, especially, space is the only place in these types of games where you can truly be alone. And when you are that alone, you get to reflect on the things you do have.

hearing that soundtrack after seeing the cutscene makes it feel so ominous at the beginning now.
That first track os like the welcome to destiny beyond light orbit track. It always plays first

I thought they took this out! So glad to see it's still here.
37:10 what's the name of this one ?
Have been looking for so long too. Just found it, it’s called “remembrance” from the taken king

Call to Arms (Shadowkeep orbit. You also hear it in Season of the Haunted’s first cutscene.)
Soundtrack? 55:00 - 58:20
Shadowkeep OST : Dark Horizons
Very cool spaceship, what is the name of that spaceship ?
10:15 ?
Obsession, on the Beyond Light OST.
What’s the name of the ost at 30:06?
I can narrow that down to D1 vanilla, or more likely House of Wolves. Not sure which track specifically.
Sounds like Reef music from D1
Vestian Outpost
You probably found it already but if u didn’t it’s Vestian Outpost from taken King
Vestian Outpost, from the Taken King
please make a song list!
whats the name of the song at 23:00
Call to arms. It’s from Shadowkeep
Why do the ships move like planes in space? There is no atmosphere for them to bob around like that.
Well they are propelled with a rocket. If you have rockets, you have to have stabilizers. Its most likely just keeping itself stable because even at idle, its still going pretty fast.
its also still in orbit of a planet that has gravity that can move it around
@@camsamhey Gravity doesn't really work like that. As long as you are in a fixed orbit, there is no need to even have the engines on.
Would be lame if it just stood still
@@HalfCookedLlama yeah ur right lol, would be lame af

I don’t know the name but it’s the red war soundtrack
