IMO Destiny has very boring story telling and themes. In my six years of the franchise, I never once felt like there were any risks. In the end, they're is always a hub world to collect bounties, and a crucible for guardians to train.
The concept of guardians being these basically immortal beings is what removes the stakes. You can make that concept work and keep the lore intact, but we needed to have something that consistently poses a threat to us. "The Awoken" ?
View From Orbit?
Its called "view from orbit" in the video
yeah now i have nostalgia and i've only played like 8 months
I've played for 4 and already can think back on my first mission, my first exotic. This game is beautiful. Say what you want that it's "become worse" etc. It's still beautiful.
"From beyond emptiness, a Gardener emerged, drawn from pseudophotons and impossible math. And our nest of colliding space dust was never the same.
For it heard meaning in our roar." - Lumina
man i forgot ive bean play destiny for years
Destiny is a wonderful place to get lost in
Nice work, Guardians. Your efforts habe been noted
Thanks Warlord Shaxx!
I am excited for Beyond Light, as we will get the OST for Europa.
Man, I'm just waiting for D3 and all the lore of the Darkness, the Worms, Savathun, the Pyramids, etc. to come to a magnificent climax-ending like story. I don't want to be left hanging like this for much longer.... It is painfully agonizing...
There's no Destiny 3 coming out. Everything from here on out will be within Destiny 2. All the new expansions will be DLCs.
@@adarshkamoda9183 that kinda sucks
@@ww8085 More or less. Just gotta punch hard.
halo nostalgia
The begining of view from orbit reminded me a bit a Kingsman music
I miss the Farm...
never knew doing HW would have this kinda feel to it
now im sniping Fallen with my No Land Beyond from atop a broken run down plane :/
"As emotion welled up within him, Jolyon found the courage to raise his head and meet the queen's lofty gaze. 'Uldren is my brother too. I love him, and I would follow him anywhere. I would follow him into death, if he asked. Just as he would for you. And if you call that treason, so be it.'" - Holdfast Mark
I kick myself to this day for not picking up gjallarhorn from xur week 2
R.I.P Cayde
can't believe cayde-6 is dead :`(
Damn, the city got attacked.. I wonder what will happen in lightfall
This game has so much potential but we know what happened
The Black Garden
If you know, you know
It is amazing
Man this shit sounds like halo 3 music ngl
Farewell
I kinda want to see what can be done with the Shadowkeep music, if it's even possible without it just being the orbit music from that expansion. IDK if there has been a Shadowkeep one made so... just tell me if there has been one made.
The beginning sounds like a Zelda opening song, or is it just me?
journey ?
Anyone listening to this stop and look up the full Destiny 1 soundtrack and listen to that instead. Nothing beats the original
id have to disagree lol. D2 soundtrack is so good, especially with forsaken
@@carlos-zy7vx Destiny 2 soundtrack added in a decent amount of Destiny 1 soundtrack with forsaken and they keep redoing leitmotifs from Destiny 1 as well. I think we can also expect more in Shadowkeep as well
@@weskerwewe thats the whole point of leitmotifs, its not like theyre reusing d1 music
D1 soundtrack is phenomenal, but why should we shun this soundtrack just because of the greatness of D1's music? D2's soundtrack has some AMAZING tunes as well.
Nomad they’re both fucking beautiful. They both can’t be compared with each other because they’re both that good
where's journey :(
Too epic in the second half for this calming mix
@@ethanrapp6998 true
Anyone know the song at 14:00?
"Home of the Brave". Look in the description. All the songs are listed there with the appropriate timestamps.
Does anyone know the name of the track starting at 23:11?
Plays in the tower
I’m not sure if you are trying to relax me or give me nostalgia because nostalgia ain’t relaxing me chief.
whoa the video timeline looks weird
So they beat you this time. But how many grenades did you throw? Did you count them? Really. Ask yourselves "Did i throw all the grenades i could?"
The Darkness could have been that, it should have already been here from the beginning as something that can end a guardian's life, but we're only now introducing that with the pyramid ships or whatever
rip destiny 2 good times , now is trash u need pay for everything
halo ost 1l
:0
this might ever be D1 but hey at least its trying
Not as good as Halo soundtrack but this one is great!
Destiny 1 soundtrack > all games in history soundtrack. But D2 is not bad.
@Inquisitor McDakka ikr i played d1 from day 1 but i still prefer the d2 soundtrack (mainly forsaken ost)
Halo's is iconic, but D2 has more depth and variety of compositions. I'll have them both thank you very much 😊
Nah #D1Better
8:00 you sure?
both soundtracks are great in their own way
@@carlos-zy7vx Indeed, they both use similar elements but some songs in D2 are way better than other songs in D1. For example, Journey (Feat. Kronos Quartet)
D1 will and always be 1000000000000000000000000000 times better then d2's soundtrack go listen ua-cam.com/video/YoYB3x81V_c/v-deo.html . None of theses new d2 noobs will ever know the feeling of d1
Travelers Dream..... If that tune doesn't move you, do you even have a soul?
