Nothing in Star Wars ever had me as emotional as Marvas speech. This series has so many layers of storytelling, symbols etc. I can't even begin to describe. And it resonates so much because it's all so true. Just fn good. Awesome to see ppl as invested as you!
That speech was sooooo perfect and motivating. I was ready to go fight with them! And thank you. It's easy for us to be so invested when we get so much help from the comments teaching us what we missed and bringing up theories we would never dream of. Oh and Nemik... Oppression is the mask of fear... Soooo well said. This series was just what we needed and when we needed it. SW always seems to work that way for me.
Marva, a woman whose funerary tradition is to be put into a wall of stone, has her brick used to start a riot. There are metaphors there that make me cry tears of pride. Fight the Empire!
The empire tried to show force by postponing the funeral and limit the number of people. The people ignored that completely, that's why it started just after Vel saying they had a couple of hours left.
Damn. Didn't get notification of this. Awesome reaction as always, ladies. So many great moments in this one. Brasso clocking that dude with Maarva's brick was EPIC! The Time Grappler Sparta kicking that stormtrooper off the tower. Cinta being 100% icy knifing the ISB guy. Maarva's speech. Shanda, I had the same reaction you did when B2 got tumbled. Luthen actually seeing what rebellion looks like on the ground. Ladies, I've loved watching your reactions to this series. You're ALL heart. 💖💖
It was awesome spending the first season of ANDOR with you guys!! this finale had me tearing up specially Marvaa’s speech, she knew what she was doing when she recorded herself before her death. Until next time Shanda & Edith!! Also Congrats for the 1.5 K followers!
I've enjoyed the Andor reactions so much! Can't wait to see where you go next. And thank you for including me in your highlighted comments - I was really pleased to see that.
I so loved that they did the slow burn throughout most of the series and the payoff on this episode was so worth it. Enjoyed watching your reaction through the whole series :-) Can't wait for season 2
Bit of trivia: showrunner Tony Gilroy originally wanted Maarva's last words on the holo to be "Fuck the Empire!" but concluded that the drop of Star Wars' first F-bomb would overwhelm the actual story importance of the moment (though others say that it was Disney that squashed the idea). With regards to being "behind" on the Death Star, if you recall in Rogue One, Grand Moff Tarkin tells Director Krennic off for "delays". One of those delays could be the prison escape, which would surely slow down production on such an important part.
Oh WOW. Didn't know that one but I can see Disney saying nope to it. But that would have broken the internet for sure. And ohh I bet the prison escape messed it up for Krennic. He is one of my fav villains. He is so great.
Enjoyed the tension that was present while you guys was watching this episode and that's what Gilroy wanted. This whole season was about showing us how Andor became fully committed to the Rebellion and that last scene is the only time that Luthen had a real smile on his face that was not for show. Shanda and Edith there's one thing that no one other than me have noticed from the trailers that wasn't in this season, the scene with Saw's partisan troops pulled their weapons on someone, go back and look at the trailer and not sure why it was in the trailer and not in the show unless it will be included in season 2. It still was a fantastic ride and enjoyed watching your reactions to this season.
Thank you!! It was soooo intense!! And can certainly see why Andor is so committed. And okay see I was like no Saw in the finale swooping in to help?? I wonder why they cut that???
@@remoterebels2 The trailer did show his troops were at the cave were all his scenes were shot. It's something no one else is talking about and wonder if anybody will address it with Gilroy. Edith you can exhale until TBB season 2 comes out. Have a great Christmas.

We all know about Force ghosts in Star Wars. Mostly those ghosts are heard by Force users like Luke, Leia, Ezra, Yoda, and Obi-wan. But remember, everyone is part of the living Force. And in this last episode, Cassian hears Force ghost of his father, Clem, as in touches his brink. He hears the Force ghost of Nemik thru the manifesto and, finally, the Force ghost of Maarva. Cassian is now ready to fight and become one of the leaders of the rebellion. In a way, Cassian is now one with the Force. Cassian has become a Knight of the Jedi.

Great reaction as always ladies! God I love this show so much, the Star Wars all of us needed. The timing of the funeral is a nice way of showing that Luthen and Vel are outsiders on Ferrix. They are going by the Empire's "suggested" timing of later in the afternoon. The locals know the funeral begins exactly when they intended and they don't give a damn what the Empire thinks.
