I've used the inline at least a dozen times already doing ECM calibrations on Freightliner school buses! It's an awesome tool to have, I use it with my tablet.

Can this do cylinder cut outs and things of that nature or is it just a code reader?

Do you need to buy a subscription to update software?

No subscription needed to do engine calibration updates, it does not give you any live data, nor can you do any special functions. It only shows engine codes and descriptions.

@joaquinaguilar5942 yes, all I do is log in to guidanz using my quickserve credentials, just did a ecm calibration update today on a 2016 thomas c2 bus, you will need to put phone on do not disturb, and make sure you have good battery voltage, and stable internet, and make sure you don't let your phone/tablet screen time out.

Ya know....what was wrong with EDS in the first place? Now a ANOTHER learning curve.....and calibration under warranty takes 30 minutes as stated, warranty pays 10 minutes.
