Mobsters ON Mobsters - Fat Tony Salerno, Joe Bonanno & Many MORE Discuss RIVAL Gangsters & Families

- Опубліковано 18 вер 2024
- Which was the most feared Crime Family? Was Fat Tony Salerno intelligent? Was Carlo Gambino the real deal? These are a selection of topics discussed by various mobsters and documented in this Mafia Video.
This American Mafia documentary looks at various mobsters discussing other mobsters and rival crime Families throughout Mafia History.
This mob video includes gangsters associated with Cosa Nostra including Sonny Franzese, Tommy Lucchese, Tommy Ryan Eboli, Carlo Gambino Anthony Salerno, Gyp DeCarlo, Little Pussy Russo, Anthony Bruno Indelicato, Carmine "Mr Gribbs" Tramunti, Sam Giancana, Stefano Magaddino and many more
Your use of FBI files is absolutely impeccable. I’m not sure if you find them online, you file for court transcripts or you apply the Freedom Of Information Act but it’s excellent work my man
Thank you Connor.
I love the content brother I just sat down and sparked a blunt what a way to start my Saturday morning
Thank you, Steven. Have a great weekend.
There's a great line DArco had when he testified in the Mob Cops case, after the lawyer Bruce Cutler (previously Gotti's mouthpiece) was really laying into him. He said something to the effect of like "If I'm such a bad guy, why were you and Gotti always hanging out at my restaurant, Bruce?"
Good book ,I listened on audiobook was The Good Rat , by Jimmy Breslin - & Mob Cops by Greg Smith - Kaplan ,Gaspipe , Amuso , those scumbag cops did some insane things. So entertaining to listen to em ..Even narrator is great !!
Awesome! Reminds me of the scene in Casino where Ace lays into the gaming commission guy.
OC Shortz is the best. Jimmie Whiskers does not just regurgitate old rumors and conjecture. He digs deep for transcripts and Newspaper clippings. Keep up the good work Jimmie
Thank you for the kind words pal
These guys talking trash about each other is truly hilarious. Where do you find this stuff O.C.? Once again really enjoyable video. Best on Y.T. Thanks O.C. and enjoy the rest of the weekend mate!
Thank you, Tim. Trawled through the archives for some lesser known quotes. Enjoy your weekend too.
There's a ton of information out there about everything. Just a matter of how much work you want to put in.
You can get information about this stuff with the Freedom of information act. Called FOIA reports. Information on the FBI website
OC that was one of my favorites hearing what others mobsters had to say about there peers. Always the best in this genre my friend. Starts my saturdays off every weekend. Thanks OC
Love hearing the inside details of how they felt about each other. Great episode, thanks for the research.
Thank you Mike
Truly the best kind of mob content
Very kind of you to say. Thank you.
People don't want to admit but this is the stuff we want to know about. The inter family rivalries and how they really felt about each other.
Glad you found it interesting Charles
Tom Mix probably confused Bruno with JB Indelicato. Another awesome Saturday morning thanks to you mate. Have a lovely weekend James. Peace and love from Queensborough where the G’s always stay thorough! ✌️
I think you mean Salerno was confused. Tom Mix stated that Bruno was Sonny Red's son.
Thanks, great stuff! All sounds believable with the exception of Gambino ducking to the floor when Sonny F reached for a tissue. But then again, you did mention his son John as not being a reliable source.
Thank you pal.
Isn’t Gambino the same fella that a lot of the tough guys considered to be a squirrel of a man 🤔
Imo it's believable but a bit exaggerated. Gambino probably flinched or reacted thusly. In the retelling the fish grew and grew and grew. You know how stories are, but if Sonny Franzese reaches into his coat while looking at you he's going to get a reaction.
@@cantstopwontstop7456 physical size does not equate to power in the mob. There is a vid here where one drunk mobster insulted Gambino and ended up dead as a result.
@@weeooh1 I don’t think the statement was a reference to physical size, but a lack of machismo in Don Carlo. Many of these guys were smaller size men. No one is calling Genovese, Galante, Mr Gribbs, or Luchesse a squirrel of a man; These guys were similar in size as Gambino or smaller
Thanks James! Brilliant episode as usual, have a good one man, take care, looking forward to part 2. ✌😎✌
Thank you, David. Have a great weekend.
Al Capone was a very joly guy !!
-Joe Bonanno
Hahah!😂 (Mike Wallace interview?)
More stuff like this please always fascinating wot mobsters think of each other
Glad you enjoyed it, Matthew
This is absolutely fascinating. Thank you for your tireless efforts.
Glad you enjoyed it pal.
The Sonny Franzese part was funny 😁 have a good weekend OC.
You too pal.
Best "outfit info" youtube channel out there, thx.
Glad you are enjoying the channel Steven.
Another great informative show Mate!
Thank you, Nicholas. Glad you enjoyed it.
Another great sat morning show
Thank you, Jesse. Enjoy your weekend.
Great stuff James.
Love hearing the transcripts.

Glad you enjoyed it pal. Hope you are having a good weekend.
OC SHORTZ You are moving up to the top! Your Format of Short, but very informative videos are on the money..
Thank you, Louis. Very kind of you to say.
@@OCSHORTZ You are most Welcome.
This was one of your best "Shorts". Thoroughly enjoyable. I love hearing about the old guys guys and their interactions. Great Job!!

@@boxingtone 😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks o.c...great show!
Thank you, James
Thank you mate! You are amazing and THE ONLY ONE with valid sources..its amazing to listen wiretaps❤
Thank you, Gasper. Have a great weekend.
I can see why they referred to the Gambino's as degenerates, marrying first cousins is almost like marrying your sister. At first I thought that they were referring to them a degenerate gamblers.
Probably, that too.😆
Right like these were rich powerful men who could have had practically any woman they wanted and they choose to bang and marry their blood relatives smh.. surprised their children weren't all re+ards.
It didn't help that the gigantic Gambino / Castellano nose kept getting bigger each generation, kinda like the infamous Hapsburg jaw
What a good topic. Enjoyed that
Thank you Dan. Glad you found it interesting.
Great video James
Thank you Jeff.
Genovese was the most feard
Yes it was ! 💯
I like this one!!!! (Kidding around!!)
HURRY UP....I GOTTA WAIT AN ENTIRE WEEK FOR PART 2....JEEZZZZZ.
This is interesting, how certain families regarded certain individuals. Unfortunately with the passage of time, we are 100% RELYING ON "TRANSCRIPTS" ( Unfortunately sometimes the tapes/through accents AREN'T 100% ACCURATE)
Nevertheless part 2 (HOPEFULLY)
will include some "MORE RECENT"
individuals which HOPEFULLY can be cross-referenced!!
OC, this is an INTERESTING video.
AGAIN, THANK YOU FOR YOUR QUALITY CONTENT RonGross!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it, Ron
Tommy Lucchese is one of the most under rated bosses ever. He literally got Carlo Gambino to be boss. I believe he had a hand in undermining Anastasia as well. He and Costello ran Tammany Hall
At some point the Lucchese family got a piece of painting contracts and insurance premiums on NYC's bridges. That was like owning a money printing machine.
Not to mention the windows scam
@@teddym9136 that was likely the same unions (iron workers, painters) if not the same locals. That was a big one time rip-off, because NYCHA was installing new windows. The bridge painting and insurance scams dated to Tommy Lucchese's era and lasted until the 2000s.
@@dxtxzbunchanumbers yes agreed
Another great insight, OC. Hope u include Tony Ducks' grunts on his mobster peers from wiretaps were set in his famous Jaguar. I heard he bad mouthed his good friend Fat Tony even, though I couldn't manage to find regarding transcripts.
Tommy Ryan been getting a lot of play in your videos recently. Seems like he was a very serious individual.
Indeed. The files on him are fascinating.
Calling someone a sexual degenerate just because they got into their 1st cousins.. what a BS excuse of a moral code, thats coming from a mobster that would kill any innocent to please his masters.
As always great vid
Thank you, Carlos
Well done. Watch almost all your videos
Thank you Ron.
I try to comment on every video to give you the stripes! You're a fantastic historian and great researcher of the Families! Keep up the great work, I wish you released more!
Do you have another channel?
Thank you for the kind words, Ferris. No other channel. Just this one I'm afraid. Have a great weekend pal, and thank you for your support
I appreciate the consistency of your uploads recently!
Always a great show brother
Thank you, Allen.
Great topic James! I have often thought about how The Ruling Families all dealt with the disparages thrown around about them and their rivals. You had to be careful who you were talking to about "another associate or rival". It is comical in some ways how these grown ups act like a group of cackling Grandma's during a game of Mahjong 🤣! Next best thing to your Topics is the research you share with us. The quotes, time tables and details of who all is involved is The Best! That quote you mentioned about Salerno "not being sufficiently intelligent enough to be chosen" absolutely proved that most times "Street Smart" is better than "Book Smart"! I had to laugh at Bonanno being described as "looking like he had been varnished" Hilarious description! Really LQQKING forward to Part Two! Have a great weekend James and Cheers From Across The Pond In Ohio Mate!
THank you pal. Hope you are having a good weekend in Ohio.
Ahhh yes, my Saturday morning fix of very interesting mobster info....thanks bruthaman! -and have a great weekend...

Thank you pal.
You are rolling. Good stuff. Tight
Thank you pal.
Great stuff as usual!
Thank you, Matt. Have a great weekend.
Fat Tony was an Acting Boss. A front man. Expendable. The CHIN was the BOSS. West Side was always the most clever borgata apparently.
To dismiss Salerno as just a Front Boss isn't quite right. He had power in his own right and was highly respected. Yes, Gigante was the actual Boss of the Family, but Salerno was more than just a lightning rod.
Yeah , that family was so secretive that everyone always thought it was the Gambino's as the most powerful. Nah , it was , indeed , the Genovese's💯
@@OCSHORTZ that's true but I mean it in simple terms. Of course Fats had power. But in that life the Boss is the Boss is the Boss. Salerno was expendable in that for Chin's sake & under the eyes of Law Eneforcement Salerno would have been the one to take the fall. And NOT Rat. That was the point.
Agreed
@@OCSHORTZ I enjoy the clips. Current and historical content. And always different.
Nice job on the video Always interesting to hear opinions from the bosses. Its interesting to remember that the Decalvacante Family was a major powerhouse back in the day. Especially in Florida from what I've read.
It was mentioned here what Joe Bonanno thought of Tommy Lucchese in Bonanno's book. In the same book JB called Carlo Gambino a "squirrel of a man, he is servile, he is cringing." On CBS' "60 Minutes" (I think) in a Mike Wallace interview Wallace mentioned this to him and he laughed it off saying "I used that in front of him." Maybe this quote will appear in Part 2 of this video, but it is certainly an example of what one mobster boss thought of another!
Hi Del, yes I used that quote in a previous video, so probably won't include it. I hope you are having a good weekend.
The west side would say of Gambino his claim to fame was counterfeiting he never cracked an egg
@@albertyavarone2086 Hi Albert. Did Benny Squint tell you that pal?
I knew Benny well
@@OCSHORTZ Buck ferro he would say Gambino got picked up with a car at the piers when he came over to this country

Great video. I just started reading ‘ Sam The Plumber’ and there has been several comments taken from FBI tapes which have been pretty telling.I recommend it if you haven’t already read it.

Thank you, Tom. I hope you are well.
I find it funny that mobsters with an IQ of 5 can really call other mobsters stupid. I would be so offended if they were speaking about me lol

Anthony Raimondi said the Columbos in the 70s were probably the most feared. Raimondi said to get made you had to kill about 5 guys. Unfortunately for Raimondi they lost count for him so he had to kill another 5 just to get in.
Hahaha that guy

ANOTHER GOOD ONE MOE…
Thank pal. Have a great weekend.
Excellent one today. Well done. Hope all is well with you.
Thanks pal. I hope things are good with you too.
All good thanks.
I know Konigsberg is only briefly mentioned in this piece but he deserves more attention. Never a made man because he was not Italian. However, he murdered a lot of people in NY and NJ. He did an incredible amount of prison time in Feds, NJ and NY and was feared inside prison and on the streets. By everyone. And I mean everyone.
In the very early 70’s he was sent to Dannamora and the CO’s beat him to within an inch of his death( just like many before him including Carl Panzram)
Koenigsberg went to the warden with pictures of the wardens kids, the elementary school and the wardens home life, etc. He told the warden that if a guard ever touched him again, the warden would be killed with his entire family.
He is worth a segment on the podcast.
Funny you should say that… I have something planned for the near future
@@OCSHORTZ That sounds great!
