If I had to bet money I’d say the junk,i asked once about fish cafaro son after fish flipped, the answer was one thing had nothing to do with the other!
I don't think Fiore Siano was killed because of Valahi's testimony, he was a loyal soldier who performed two hits given to him by Mob heavyweights, that does earn you points. What got him killed was the drug pinch he served and his Capo finding out that he was dealing once again. You get pinched a second time dealing large amounts of hard drugs, you will get a long sentence and uncle Joe turning informant on a lot of Mob heavy weights only meant that Fiore could do the same thing if he was pinched on a narco charge again. For what he did and what he knew, he could have done some serious damage to the Mob too if he were to have ever turned informant, plus, I'm sure his Capo told him to stop dealing drugs and that's the way it goes some times.
I don’t think the bosses had banned drugs this early yet but drugs was still always a reason you could be killed in that life so still you make good points

I don't think so, he did a hard drug charge and when he was released he was back dealing coke & H once again, if he were to busted again he would have had to do some serious time. Another very informative article Thanks . Although I don't always add a comment, I look forward to your uploads , so much killing , or as they called it business . Thanks again..
I’m not an expert on how the mafia operates but I’ve never heard of a guy being killed because a family member was a rat, I don’t think they operate like that
If the Family members are un-affiliated and are civilians they won’t be touched… but if a male Family member enters the ‘Life’ and is involved LCN protocols allow for them to be killed💯
I didn't know Joe Valachi had a Nephew in the mob. To be a "successful" gangster, you have to be more than a one trick pony. Fury, seems like a knuckledragger. Letting his hands, do all of his thinking. Thomas Eboli, seemed pretty cagey. Even though Fury was young, the plush conditions the Mafia had in prisons, and should be able to handle a 10 year stretch... All thing's considered, why take the chance. I am in CONSTANT disbelief that the volume of Joe Valachi's testimony, resulted in not one arrest!
I thought the mob was not that hard on their members for drug dealing in those days, but only began to enforce the no drugs rule in later years (70s onwards).
Eboli and Valachi, from what I've read, were none too fond of each other anyway, and being a rat's blood in addition to any unauthorized side hustle would have been enough to justify Siano's murder. That crew had a lot of spite.
10:13 Carmen Persico part of Luciano/Genovese family? He's in the far right column. I always thought he was Profaci/Colombo from day one. Is this FBI list based on what Valachi thought he knew and they went with it, or is it just an early day error? It may be correct, I don't know, this is the first time I ever hear of The Snake being part of the Genovese family.
Yes it is a famous error on the chart. There are a few on the charts they produced at that time. For example, they also have Anthony Caponigro listed as Genovese instead of Philadelphia.
If you believe Valachi's testimony.. Vito Genovese messed up by tipping his hand, giving Valachi the kiss of death.. If he wanted him gone, he should have just got rid of him.
Joe Valachi was a black stain on the Genovese family reputation, this wouldn't have done his nephew any favours, dealing junk on top of this he would have to go. Nice to see photo's of Tony Bender Strollo and Ana Genovese, not see any before.

Start with Mary Ferrell website pal.
Nope. Not because of drugs. Definitely because of his uncle. But it certainly gave the powers to be, a little extra reason to kill him.
Wonder what happened to the other 2 family members
The clerk in charge of freedom of information requests must either be sick as hell of you or on your Christmas card list .
Always A1
I thought the mob was not that hard on their members for drug dealing in those days, but only began to enforce the no drugs rule in later years (70s onwards).
thats what i thought also.
The Pagano's moved to Flushing in the 1950's
Eugenio "Gene" Giannini's girlfriend's name was Jean.
Eboli and Valachi, from what I've read, were none too fond of each other anyway, and being a rat's blood in addition to any unauthorized side hustle would have been enough to justify Siano's murder. That crew had a lot of spite.
"Presumed dead"??
Either that or he's one hell of a hide and seek player. 😂
The Westside don't mess around James
10:13 Carmen Persico part of Luciano/Genovese family? He's in the far right column. I always thought he was Profaci/Colombo from day one. Is this FBI list based on what Valachi thought he knew and they went with it, or is it just an early day error? It may be correct, I don't know, this is the first time I ever hear of The Snake being part of the Genovese family.
Yes it is a famous error on the chart. There are a few on the charts they produced at that time. For example, they also have Anthony Caponigro listed as Genovese instead of Philadelphia.
Geez, "bad blood" did not prevent Kid Blast Gallo from being brought in by the Genovese borgot after the war started by the brothers Gallo.
Before i watch the video my answer is: thats very, very possible 😁
Real good
Didn't Vito do time for drug dealing? Why the crack down on Fiore if the Boss was doing the same thing?
Better safe then sorry.
It's not fair to hold his Nephew to account because his Uncle was a Rat, just saying from Glasgow 😎 🇬🇧
