Samson is third and regan is 4rth for me. Justine and Steve have weird physique, washed out mid section and the muscles are not well defined.

There's only person in the top six that Regan could realistically have beaten, and that's Brett... but he was too flat and smooth to pull that off. If he had come in harder and fuller, then he'd have beaten Brett, but none of the other guys. He needs more size in the quads and arms to manage that. Samson _murked_ him when they were side-by-side, specifically because of better quad sweep, biceps peaks, and overall "pop" (i.e. fullness, hardness).

And his quads. He's gone too far with the SEOs, and I can't imagine that he'll ever be allowed to win a major title because of it.

I didnt realise Brett was so bad. He's short. Little. Looks like a welterweight. He's narrow. Torso is tiny. Legs are rectangular. His front double with those small arms and forearms is laughable. How did ANYONE think he'd win or place 2nd. 😂 👍 👍 👍
Man chill. I didn't think he'd win 2nd either but he isn't that bad as how you described. You probably sport a pathetic physique in comparison. He's still so early in his career. Though I have my doubts still with his lack of a quad sweep. I still give him credit though. He was definitely a high rank in some aspects like conditioning.
@@jmorale7798 Here's the thing: Michael's wording is over the top, but every individual flaw that he pointed out is real to at least some degree. Brett will never win either the Arnold or the Mr. Olympia. His _structure_ got exposed in this competition, and he's already starting to spill over just a touch in his attempt to add size. He's much closer to his ceiling than you're hoping. If he keeps chasing mass like Nick Walker, he won't be aesthetic anymore, and he just doesn't have the skeletal structure to go the other route.
I don’t understand why Samson isn’t always in the middle of fist call out. He my top pick but I can’t choose second. Justin Brandon and William all so good. Ide probably give it to William and then Brandon and then Justin. So Samson William Brandon and Justin. Steve looks like he’s right behind them but it’s just to hard to see from video

He's two steps ahead of everyone.. The deepest muscles. The most consistent. There are no lagging groups. The cut in all poses is superior to the rest. He is so perfect here that I cease to understand the course of what is happening.

Not really. His back looks narrow in BDB. But he did beat brandon in front double biceps and rear lat spread. Other poses brandon are beating hin
@@Trenacetate43 The difference in the back is that the Brandon is wider, agree. and a little deeper in the wide muscles. But Bonac has more small parts. Bonac's shoulders are better. Biceps are a little better for Brandon. However, Bonac is better in all side positions. Also, the legs are better and deeper. Buttocks are many times better. And Bonac is the only athlete in the Olympia scene this year who has calves in his legs.

Justin, zero leg separation, zero abs separation, waist wide af and shoulders are way too suspicious. It doesn’t matter if you have the greatest conditioning if you have zero separation. I don’t even know how they judge anymore, bonac easily wins, samson looks great, not only he should have placed 3rd, you could make the argument him vs cury.
Samson loses to Curry because of inferior back development and washed-out glutes (though I think he's also not flexing them correctly in certain poses). When he gets the back thickness and width to match his detail, good lord. Seriously, if Samson fills out his back and arms, and fixes his lower body detail in the back poses, he's Mr. Olympia. It's crazy. I don't think that Regan will ever beat Samson again on their current trajectories. I'm not sure that _Steve_ will beat Samson again, and certainly not after another offseason for Samson.

People who say Brandon has no legs are absolutely delusional. His quads look really good in the ab & thigh and his hammies look improved in the back shots as well. He just doesn't have those round, striated glutes like Bonac.
