Metal Detecting With The Hillsdale Boys "IT NEVER GETS OLD" !

In this episode of The Hillsdale Boys, it's still early, but more bean fields are opening up. So I continue to rehit some old sites close to home. I grab Kerry on one particular hunt, and he finds a coin that NO ONE HAS EVER DUG IN THE HISTORY OF THE HILLSDALE BOYS ! We throw a bunch of names to it, looked on Google and it wasn't until late that night or the next day did we have someone on line tell us what it was ! 🤣 I'm still using a White's DFX for the last 22 years. I have a friend that says I've been using it so long, I should be able to tell the year of a coin before I even dig it.

Lol, that's how he is... I know he's had to make himself learn the nox. I'm sure since Whites went out of business, it's pushed him to learn something new. No better machine than the Mindlab 800 to do it on.

I found a 1864 2 cent coin with sm motto in great shape and in the same hole I got a beautiful US union buckle .
