- Chandler and I metal detect 4 farmhouse yards going back to the 1860's and find tons of old coins and relics, including silver! We both use the XP Deus 2 metal detector.
Nice finds today my friend.
Thanks!
Nice finds guys 😊
Thanks!
Wow what a hunt. Congrats on the finds
Thanks!
New subscriber also from Michigan Awsome finds guys what a day of digging congratulations
Thanks!
Great discoveries!! The whole bunch! Coins, buttons, bullets, silver, jewelry, and more!! Great video! I liked the suspense of the live digs 😊.
Thanks! I may try and do more going forward, we had so many bloopers though with all the live junk and clad quarters
Show the bloopers!!! 😀 Would make a great show!!
Great area 👍
It was actually 4 different yards, we started knocking doors around 11 and hunted until 7:30 pm. Out of the 4, only 2 were actually productive.
Nice! You both killed it! Congrats!
Yes we did, thanks!
let's go let's go treasure and adventure ✌👵
So much treasure in these yards
What a hunt awesome.
Thanks!
Nice finds Ryan, enjoy your traveling hunts.
Thanks! There will be more since I've moved into a high-travel position at my job.
You guys were killin' it. That Kalamazoo token could well be an electric trolley token. Huge silver in the hole as well, Gotta Love It!
It most definitely was for the electric trolley! Very cool piece of history
Great hunt. Congratulations. GL & HH. Sebastian
This was amazing! All those wheaties and Indians! Awesome score. Plus you got that beautiful walker and a dated buffalo nickel! Man what a hunt! 💖💯
This is one of the most memorable days detecting in my 7 years of metal detecting. Not every day you get onto yards as good as these! I'll be taking a trip back to MI around Thanksgiving to hit some farm fields.
Killed it! Awesome hunt!
Thanks!
Nice, I live in Michigan and my best hunt was 3 silvers in one day including a walker. My hand was shaking as much as yours
Wow that is one great day! I can count on one hand the number of times I've found 3 or more silvers in a day.
Very nice. In 4 years I've still not dug a silver half.... not for lack of trying. Got a bicentennial clad half underwater though.
Very cool! I've still never found a bicentennial half, only silver and one normal clad one
I can relate, I've been detecting 15 years now, it took 8 years to find my 1st half (barber half) I've since found 5 silver half's, 2 walkers 1 Benjamin, 2 barbers. Just keep at it! You'll get a good one!
Nice finds 👍
Thanks!
Amazing hunt! Nothing like seeing big silver in the hole.
Thanks! One of the best pleasures in life is digging a big silver coin
Holy SNAP you guys killed it congratulations
Thanks! Chandler got a pile of silver and I got the pile of indians I was hoping for. It's up there as one of the most fun days I've had metal detecting.
You guys killed it on that hunt. Awesome find on the big silver and IHP. Cool old relics. New to your channel. All the best John.
Thanks!
There should be a sterling stamp on the inside of the thimble at the tip of the bowl area.
There are no markers but it acid tests as silver
Bug Eater you rock sir!
Thanks!
New subscriber👋🏻 what a hunt 👏🏻 my dream to get over to the US and find some of those beauties! Stay well and be lucky🤞🏻🍻
I travel a lot for work so I am fortunate to get to go all over. I will be back in Michigan to see Chandler again for my annual fall vacation. And this time we'll be hunting farm fields.....
@@BugeaterMetalDetecting Smashin’ I wish you both luck 🤞🏻🍻
Great old coins, what area in Michigan? I grew up there, between Ludington and Muskegon
Closest decent size town is Kalamazoo but we were out in the country
Nice hunt! Did you check that 1864 Indian head cent for the designers' initial "L" ?
When you say way down there at 1:19. Your hand is only going about 3-4". Is that considered deep? How deep were most of your finds?
Nice!
Thanks!
@@BugeaterMetalDetecting heck yeah! we love watching other treasure hunters in action!!! We’ve been at it for years but recently started a channel. If you get a second, take a look and tell me what you think! Always support my fellow detectors and treasure hunters!
@FreedomFindersAdventures planning on checking it out after work tonight 👌🏻
@@BugeaterMetalDetecting thank you so much! Please feel free to give me any pointers
I live in oregon and have yet to find an 1800s coin those are hard to find here
One day soon! I have been to Portland a couple times but never with my detector. I bet there's some 1800's coins out that way
Oh boy. I need to find a farm house to search
I know it's more difficult but "live digs" are 100% more interesting. Just showing yourself taking finds out of a hole gets boring very quickly. I don't mean this to be a negative comment. Just letting you know the kind of vids I prefer to watch.
I agree, they are more fun to watch. Though when I'm out, digging comes first so I often don't even think about live digs since I'm so zoned in on metal detecting.
I counted 5 live digs, did you want live digs where junk is pulled?
@@brianrizzi6321 First of all, you don't know it's junk till you do the dig. Secondly, who asked for your snide and stupid comment?
Wht program are u using?
I use a custom program, one day soon I'll share it in a video
My best indians is 17 in one hunt. 6 silver is my record for a day
You got me good on indians, my best is 10 and that was all the way back in 2018
Hey Bugeater - do you have a business email for sponsorship inquiries?
I do this for fun, not money.
69 calibur
Biggest bullet I've seen, the only 3 ringer I've ever dug was a .54 caliber
I’m not sure why you rub your coin finds with your dirt covered fingers.
Get a small water bottle. Save scratching your coins!
I have one, but there's no harm in rubbing a 40's walker
That 3 ringer would be a .69 caliber
