Dear gods this is beautiful. The haunting orchestra with the soothing ballad of the wind fish melody on top of it is absolutely sublime. I was about to call this a perfect cover…. Then 1:44 hit me like a freight train and blew my expectations away completely. You are truly a master of your craft.

Turning the lead from Southern Face Shrine into the Ballad of the Wind Fish is brilliant, something I have never even considered. Excellent work once again.

The Southern Face Shrine is one of the most stand-out moments in all of LA for me, both for its soundtrack and the secrets that lie within. So happy you’ve covered it! Great job incorporating both the the southern ruins & the dungeon versions!

The Face Shrines and the Wind Fishes egg have always stood out to me, they have a certain air of unease to them. I suppose that’s fitting for a nightmare, it really sticks with you. The last minute of your remix I feel exemplifies this the most.
It's amazing how different artists who create remixes, fanart, etc, give a different interpretation to this masterpiece of a game.
When I first played this game's remake on the Switch, THIS was the dungeon that floored me on the game's themes, tone and lingering existential dread that the boss communicates to you with their parting words. I feel all of that once again in this wonderful rendition!

This is definitely one of my favorite dungeon themes from Link's Awakening. Very ominous. I know dreams don't always have to make sense, but I wonder why there were two shrines? And you'd think the Face Shrine would be the Northern Shrine or the Southern Shrine would be the Statue Shrine so they're more overtly connected. I wonder what the deal is?
I like a lot what you've made on that one. Switching between soft and epic sections with a bit of creepiness to make it darker. Great include of Ballad of the Windfish at the end

Link's Awakening has always had one of my favorite soundtracks. This version absolutely rules. Really cool how it is both melancholy and bombastic.
I was 8 when I first heard this song and now I’m 31 and somehow you’ve managed to make a vibe that matched what little me heard out of all those beeps and boops back in the day

Beautiful piece, fits the vibe and can hit you hard if you're in the right mood. Just stumbled upon your music at random while having random video game tracks just play today at work, had to stop, go back and see who was making these pieces and what more you had to offer. Saving playlist!
Damn, this is a really awesome cover of an already amazing song! Love the way the music shifts in tone multiple times here, going from a more haunting rendition to an energetic and bombastic one to a different more sombre one at the end.

You work is always abundantly clear and while most of that is, of course, achieved in mixing and exporting properly to UA-cam, I'm curious if your choice in virtual instruments contribute to that. I'd love to get to know your workflow if possible as well, as I'm learning digital composition myself.

Because Hyrule Castle’s theme was based on the Ballad of the Wind Fish, the main leitmotif here.
Why is it around 2:30 I just think of the Hyrule castle music from BOTW

Why do I hear BoTW Hyrule Castle and Lysandre's battle theme? Or rather why do I hear the Face Shrine theme in the other two?
I think it's a bit too dramatic, for what it's supposed to represent. It's supposed to be a somber piece. It's a eulogy to your misconceptions about the nature of everything around you, and this is reflected later on in Face Shrine, Eagle's Tower, and Turtle Rock. They're haunting pieces. This should hit as the realization that the Slime Eel only moments before was on to something.
On its own merits though I like it.
Sorry, but the title is incorrect. The name of this dungeon is the "Southern Shrine", the "Face Shrine" is a different dungeon.
