I love that they pull it off with so little, but I love the nasty, distorted psychedelic song it's become from them live. When I saw them years back, they were coming back for an encore, so everyone was kind of mentally running through the "Okay, they're gonna play something big, a crowd pleaser...what haven't they played yet??). They shuffled back out onto stage in darkness, then a single purple light shadowed down over Jonny, making him just visible as a silhouette. Moment of silence, and then BAM!! "IMBW" opening riff dripping with distortion and reverb comes popping out of his guitar, and then the rest of the band enters they CRASH in, the whole floor dancing like we're watching an electro-band. It was fascinating to see this moody, insular Kid A/Amnesiac track become so dynamic and head-rattling. I wish they wouldn't shy away from that so much...
The version of "There, There" from this concert is probably my favorite single moment from my favorite band for the last 25 years - it is like the glue that can hold one's soul together in love harmony and grace in the light, just sublime in every way possible. A totally legendary show.
3:40 - i might be wrong 7:45 - there there 12:44 - knives out 21:40 - sail to the moon 28:20 - i will 30:40 - no surprises 39:15 - drunken punchup 43:42 - everything in its right place 48:50 - street spirit 53:53 - fog 57:00 - karma police
I remember downloading this MP3 back in 2013 for my iPod classic. Radiohead and AustinBrock's uploads helped me through hard times in my teenage years, feels good to be back and watch this old performances again. Greetings from Chile.
One of the best things about radiohead is the similarity between their live performances and their album recorded stuff - and both sound gorgeous... I think radiohead is unique in the fact that they produce their records to match their live performances rather than the other way around.. what everyone else does. They pour their souls into the genuine on stage music. (which is why I nearly cried when they came to my state to perform, but I couldn't go)
Probably the most beautiful version of "No Surprises" it's just beauty to our ears, i don't know why but when i hear this version i want to cry but i don't... so powerfull
I speak to Radiohead's management on a rare occasion, once spoke to Phil when he was answering messages on his Facebook page, and also exchanged a tweet with Nigel, but other than that, nothing. Not that I expect anything anyway, I do it mainly for the love of the band, and secondly because I enjoy enabling people to watch concerts through UA-cam, as not everyone is able to download and burn DVD's.
Radiohead has changed my life in so many ways over the years. Every song takes me back to that point in my life when I first heard it: The sounds, smells, feelings and emotions. How can there be a greatest hits album when every album is a greatest hit. Radiohead, like it or not, is the most important band of this day and age. This performance shows us why they're so influentially magically brilliant.
I very much appreciate how much time we get to spend here watching Jonny on his telecaster. Really edited together by someone who appreciates his technique. Many live Radiohead videos are fast cut, and don't give us the chance to really chew on the musicianship.
This whole performance is so joyful, you can see Thom eager and happy as he plays, is memorable, also great sound quality, im enjoying it as the host says, as a 14 yo boy. thanks
First time Idioteque was listenable for the whole world thx to old talkshow Nulle Part Ailleurs on Canal Plus inviting Radiohead to play it few days/weeks before Kid A was available + ”Kid Amnesiac in Paris” played for the same TV channel few month later (a live where the band played songs from the 2 albums, couple of weeks after ”Amnesiac” release) + this = I only realized now how we, french people, had great opportunities to watch some of the best and exclusive Radiohead performances in the world !
2003... this was 15 years ago? Jesus. I remember discovering this show at Le Reservoir in approx 2009 on youtube. All these years later, still has the same effect on me.
If they did the same performance today, everyone would have been busy recording the show on their iphones the entire time, not as immersed in the music. Thanks so much for the recording!
My tear ducts were open during the entire Concert, what a Duo and Jonny with his hair, sexy, sexy and such a great Composer also…..My love affair with them will NEVER cease……Thanks for the Upload….
Haha Thom making Johnny laugh by playing don't fear the reaper while tuning at 1:25 was so wholesome. These guys are so legendary and virtuous at their craft that witnessing moments like this is refreshingly relatable.
j'ai beau écouter d'autres groupes absolument géniaux, il ni a rien a faire Radiohead sont les meilleurs, ils reviennent a chaque fois, je ne m'en laisse et laisserai jamais
In a rare case of a greatest hits album as a good career move, Depeche Mode put out their first singles compilation five years in and immediately went on to produce their best work. After a certain point though, and certainly now in Radiohead's career, that's just fluff. Beautiful show here, thanks for the upload AustinBrock.
How the fuck did the comments section for this fantastic video become such a cesspool of people arguing about random shit? Thank you for uploading this Austin. I enjoyed it massively :)

I remember seeing this on French TV at the time. I was living in France briefly back then, my year abroad as part of my University course. Music Planet 2Nite was a show that helped keep me sane during that period, because you would get cool performances like this. It was also this show that allowed me to find out where Ray Cokes disappeared to after MTV in the 90s.
Jonny Greenwood's guitar work on this is incredible.
I was there.. Best experience of my whole life.
So lucky!
you son of a bitch! that's awesome!
Difficile d'imaginer Radiohead au Réservoir, ca a dû être une sacrée expérience.
lucky...
I can't even imagine. What a lucky soul.
Have you ever cried because the music was so good? I just did.
+esmi lee all the time, when it's good music. Radiohead does this for me often :)
No because I'm not a wimp haha 😂
I love the way Thom Yorke moves his head to the microphone.
Quite possibly my favorite version of "I Might Be Wrong" is on here. The concert is really spectacular.
Samuel Bigus This is the best version!

Check out David Eugene Edwards and 16 horsepower
And Jonny :) 1:00:54
One of the best radiohead performances i've heard, i wish i was born before 2003 to see this incredible show
yes, yes, yes, yes, I pity those that don't have Radiohead in their lives!!!!
What a band ! What an album ! What a concert !
I remember downloading this MP3 back in 2013 for my iPod classic. Radiohead and AustinBrock's uploads helped me through hard times in my teenage years, feels good to be back and watch this old performances again. Greetings from Chile.
Glad you're still with us, fab.

Such simple but beautiful harmonies.
This show has some of Thom's best vocal performances ever!
Thanks for all your high-quality Radiohead vids!
sesshomaru322 You're welcome!
I Will into No Surprises in this is beyond beautiful

I watch this every night before I go to bed. It's so soothing.
I'm starting an Austin Brock marathon- going through all of his uploads to get the best Radiohead gigs

I'm pretty sure this version of Fog is the one that many of us downloaded off LimeWire or Kazaa many, many years ago. Almost positive.
That's because the band actually released this version on the "Com Lag" EP in 2004. ;)
Geoff Kilian Same for me. I get physical copies of music, movies, books if I think it's _really_ worth getting it. :)
Jonny on the piano for Karma Police is incredible!
Greatest band of the past 30 years. no one even comes close.
Thanks Austin!
Sail To The Moon live! Love it! Such a masterpiece, HTTT is a great album :)))
If Radiohead make an acoustic album, I'd so buy it.
Great quality. Thanks for uploading the entire thing.
This is easily one of my favourite Radiohead shows, so pure and so simple. Brilliant
MAAN!! THE QUALITY IS AMAZING,THANKS FOR UPLOAD THESE RADIOHEAD VIDEOS,YOU ROCK! DUDE

Awesome, i've seen snippets of this performance all over the place but it's great to see it finally together. Thanks for the upload!
Austin I'm not sure what I'd do without you my friend.Thank you for your dedication to the world's finest band.
What a masterpiece. Every rendition of every song just slaps so goddamn hard.
I'll take that as a compliment, thanks.
this is my favourite show; Thom seems in a genuinely good mood throughout the whole set. He usually looks uncomfortable, especially at large shows.
Thank you so much for uploading!!!! :D
There There acoustic is just about as good as it gets, well played Austin.
Yes
It's so easy to confuse Thom's voice with a violin during Knives Out
This is my favorite acoustic Radiohead performance. From a distant time, yet so close in my head.
I like the piano arrangement of karma police in this performance
YES! It's so epic
29:13 Johnny Greenwood just chillin' in the background
Nick Bland jonny*
I love how Thom looks at Jonny at 6:51

Ahh well that makes more sense. Thanks for the upload by the way! Great performance (particularly loved "I will") :)
Listen to this again and again - love this video.

I love how he begins to play Like Spinning Plates then decides to play Fog.
youre a lovely human being for posting this :')
That laugh of Thom at Karma police

it's cute that they say there will never be a greatest hits album and as soon as the split from EMI, a greatest hits album was pumped out right away
I can only sum this up in one word: amazing. Thanks so much for posting.
I love how the encore was almost as long as the concert itself :D
Thank you for uploading this! Ithink it's a fantastic performance, I wish I could be there.
Thanks bridger, appreciate it :).
Thanks, Ankit, you're too kind :).
thank you so much for uploading this video!!!, it is such a great performance
nothing like these two together! forever greatfull of enjoying their music!

great video of PA, austin. nice work in highlighting jonny's immense work on that version.
Style and technique of Johnny's playing is timeless.
Thom playing Jonny's guitar. *brainstorm*

It's ironic that a few years after this was made EMI made a greatest hits album without their permission.
When I listen to Radiohead I'm in peace...Sail to the moon is great.
good quality, good presentation, thanks flor the video
Thanks for the upload!
@kurciarz Yes ; because the stage was too small, so they opted for a shortened version of the band and naked arrangements for the songs...
PURE AWESOMENESS!!
14:16 that look seems intense, lucky the person who recieved that.
Lucky that you own a 2006 account otherwise you wouldn't be able to upload such a long concert. And luck for us too!!! Thank U!!!
