Mike I am a bit concerned the DLC isnt really ready for release mid October. It will release but it seems likely it has still teething issues. Gleba for one. Fiddling around with fluid systems which should be final. Who knows what else isnt final. I mean nothing has been discussed if you can disable the new enemies on the planets or how tanky the biters will be later on navis-it seems the increasing health was a after thought as apposed to lets add other newer enemies on vanilla Navis. To make for a new combat loop rather then they will just get more health and you will grind more to kill them. Any new handheld weapons for giant base killing worms besides the TESLA gun. They still trying to figure out core system features it seems. I get the impression between the DLC being announced little work was done. And add to that a 35 dollar price tag. Is it worth that. It also seems not one factorio you tuber has been critical pasts maybe Trupen. Its like go go gadget fanboys. I love the game but I am reluctant to buy the DLC based on hype. What to me is another red flag there isn't even a Pre-PURCHASE option on steam further making me feel its not even in a ready state to be on released as a listings yet. It only has add to wishlist. Take any high end triple AAA Title or DLC-its usually up for purchase often weeks before it actually goes live for download.
@@creativityfails1 Good point. But the thing is people maybe expect a mature product now to complete their already existing experience they are having with the-vanilla 1.0 factorio...I think I will wait a bit for hot fixes / patches to come in before I bite the bullet. But great valid point.
I get the impression the devs were a bit unsatisfied with the impact of the 1.0 release and wanted a more momentous 2.0 release with more hype and, as a result, sales. hence avoiding an early access phase for 2.0 which would spoil the entire release. Mostly speculation on my part.
@@zxxvcc All valid points....I will leave in the Steam wishlist cart until Mike or Trupen does some videos on it post actual DLC release. Who knows maybe it will go on sale LOL.
Mike when is more COZY CORNER.....PSSSHHHHH train sound

They sold factorio in early access and it worked for them, why wouldn't they sell the DLC in early access?
