Huge improvement for the box, Becky. I absolutely love the black and the butterfly paper complements it nicely. Great attitude about the "mistakes." Another successful crafting project!
What a fun decorating project! I also think the sparkly gold, flowers and and butterflies go really well together. Painting it dark was a good choice because it looks a lot more sleek now!! It looks like something cute you’d buy from michaels or hobby lobby. I love these “makeover” videos, they always inspire me to redo some of my bland items I have sitting around. It’s just a matter of laziness for me😂
Haha yes I have a bunch of other things waiting to be decorated. I find it breaks up "doing art" and is good for my sanity to decorate old furniture and junk, haha. Plus people keep throwing out good stuff! 😂
This looked like a fun project. The letter holder turned out very well. As soon as you said you were going to paint the letter holder black, all I kept on thinking about was The Rollings Stones ‘Paint it Black’. 😁

But when I have the object in front of me I can't think of anything good and I'm just like, well guess you get a fresh coat of white paint lol
Lovely. I actually did that to my pastels case and it's basically a collage with different things form some random magazines I had. It's quite fun to make and it looks cool :)

What a lovely thing to find! All I see on my daily dog walks are broken pushchairs and filthy mattresses - you must live in a posher area than mine! 😆😆 It looks fabulous darling! Helen x
Oh there is plenty of that sort of junk too! 😂 Once we were driving through this really posh neighbourhood, and someone had thrown out two gorgeous rosewood side tables! They are now in our main living room. 🤣

I'm sure I'm missing a few things, haha! I got those papers at a big sale a few years ago. Time to use them up! I'd say that was definitely a cutlery and napkin box, that a girl had for pencils and other stationery.

I found an even more damaged one...not sure yet if that is going to be fully restored but I'm working on it! 😄

That would probably be even more useful! Bit I just decided to keep it on because it looked pretty, lol.
@@BeckyTregear I put pencil cups in it and keep my colors pencils in it. It just made more sense to take the handle off for me.
