The beat part of the Hardy return is the New Day fakeout. The rumors that they were coming back but only silence about when and you start to wonder if it's the next day, then Woods fakes that theyve put themselves in and that's just wrong enough to be believable that they'd do it, then the music hits. Perfection
WM 38 had Stone cold & Cody rhodes returning in one show, That alone is enough to make that PPV special.
I remember where I was when the Hardys returned. My roommate and I were watching WrestleMania 33 in college. He took the trash out the time the fatal four-way match was made official and he came bursting out through the door and long jumped from the door to the front of the tv. He received a message from a friend of ours on Twitter that they returned. It was incredible 🤣

At Mania 31 Sting actually called for Wolfpac help but Nash got confused
It makes me sooo happy to see Jeff & Matt topping this list. They deserved every second of that Pop of Pops. One of my favourite WrestleMania moments!!!
I started the video and thought to myself: "If the Hardys ain't #1 this list is wrong and nobody can convince me otherwise." I'm glad you got them atop the list where they belong. The loudest pop in wrestling history.

Another honourable mention: Edge at Wrestlemania 37 in front of Fans. Yes Edge returned at Mania 36 but it was in front of no actual fans! So when Edge was booked in the Mania 37 in the main event man it was great to see the crowd go wild for his music playing
I did love seeing rapper John Cena again. If only because he's genuinely great at spitting rhymes.
The Hardy’s return was the last Mania I watched with my grandfather who passed away later that year. I still remember how excited he was to see them back.
I was hoping to see Pete Rose on this list because he and Kane have one of the best, most well thought out feuds of that era.

John Cena wore that Yankees Jersey at WrestleMania 35 because people call him the Babe Ruth of WWE lol not sure how anyone could miss that
He also used to wear a sports jersey repping a team from whatever city he was in lol
But in this particular situation, not only did they call him the Babe Ruth of wrestling... but they literally played a video of Babe calling his shot before Cena came out. They definitely would've done something different if they were in a different stadium, but the combination of the video they played, the name they gave Cena, and the city they were in? It's mind boggling how they didn't put that together.

I got excited but not overly surprised when The Hardys returned and I can't still understand why. I knew they were fresh up an intense match with the Young Bucks, but even then I saw it comming.
And that confuses me because I did not see Edge returning AT ALL in the Royal Rumble. I was upset that people were rumoring about his return because "let the man rest".
I was wearing my DDP t shirt at WM 32 and was marking out when he came out. I wonder if he could see me from my standing room only nose bleed seats 😂

The Hardys were probably number one because while Cody's return was big and flashy and great to see, everybody knew he was going to be there... with The Hardys, while there was some rumor and speculation that they were going to return to WWE that they had a match the night before it was pretty much ruled out that they would/could return at that year's WrestleMania
