This Mania was so special to me because it was the first ever WWE event I attended live. I had just gotten into wrestling and the entire time, I was confused.
What a time!! My parents took me and my brother to San Jose California all the way from Riverside California ( a good 7 hour drive) we got to miss three days of school and get the full Wrestlemania experience, the one where every street you turn there’s someone in a wrestling shirt. As a family who grew up with pro wrestling and this being our first ever Wrestlemania, something we thought would never be possible, it was really a special one. Something we’ll never forget. Wrestlemania 31 IS THAT SPECIAL
Looking at the comments, you summoned all of us who either saw this WM live for the first time in stadium or at home. This was my first WM watching which also happened to air live for the first time in my country.(other ppv would air probably a day/week later, iirc). 9 years on and this will still be the best one, and will always have a special place in my heart.
I’ll never forget that belt swing that Seth Pulled at the top of the ramp, giving off massive “Warrior” vibes. Love that moment. Seth’s easily still one of the greatest, taking that turn he did in 2015 was what did if for him, not to mentions he’s featured in two memorable Mania’ moments we’ll forever love/remember.
i got up at 4 AM (time was different in my country) just to watch this wrestlemania because it was my first wwe ppv that i watched live and when i tell you my jaw was on the floor when seth rollins cashed in that briefcase. like, that image of rollins standing on the ramp with the wwe title and roman on his knees crying in the ring defines my fascination with wwe and remains such a core memory for me as an avid wwe fan even almost a decade later. that was a legendary night and what an iconic way to go out.
same man, first wrestlemania live in tv at 4am of a Monday here in Nepal, i didn't view the dirtsheets, so wasn't disappointed like other viewers were, rather for me it was just raw and smackdown after school on thursdays and fridays and I was fully invested in the story since shield broke up in 2014. Great video man. Brought back a lot of good memories. It was on my 23rd birthday and I remember all my friends and I (completely trashed by that point) going wild when Rollins music hit for the cash in. Subscribed!
I was there. I lived in SoCal my whole life and Levi’s Stadium was about 6 hours from where I live. It was the first time I ever went up north of California. My family and I drove like 3-4 hours the Saturday before and spent the night at a hotel in the middle of nowhere. Next early morning, we stopped at a hotel in San Jose to check in and then we went to Levi’s stadium. We sat in the nosebleeds and still got a good view of everything. It was the first WrestleMania I ever went to as a fan. It was an absolute amazing experience. The drive to the stadium and back home was worth it
this was the first wrestlemania I saw with more people, in the past not many of my friends were into wrestling but me, so I was used to watch wrestling alone. by the end of 2014 my friends started to watch, so by the time of WM 31 for the very first time I watched this event with my friends, and by god we had a good time! So much it became something we do to this day. great great memories.
Something minor that stood out to me about the show; the sun was out for so long! It didn't get dark until the very end of the show. For some reason I liked that; made the show feel more grounded.
Love your stuff pav!! You’re the best wrestling content creator in my books. I get so many great hits of nostalgia when I watch your videos and I appreciate you! Keep killin it mane💯🔥
My first mania holds a special place in my heart. As a Cena fan seeing my boy clap rusev with all the nationalistic promos you can come up with was a sight to see. The mid air RKO, fire ladder match for ic belt and the main event truly was a good introduction to what wrestlemania was all about. One of the best manias period
Wrestlemania 31 was easily the best WrestleMania of the 2010s. If Sting had beaten Triple H and Bray had been the one to shock Undertaker, this WrestleMania would have been perfect.
Brock needed the win and did more with it than Bray would have, saying this as a big fan of that version of Bray Wyatt. They really needed to find a better way to build up Roman
This was my first Wrestlemania! I was 11 years old when I begged my mom to get the WWE Network so I can finally watch a WWE PPV… and that PPV just so happened to be Wrestlemania 31. I was a huge Roman fan going into it too because the Shield is what really drawed my attention to watching professional wrestling! I remember this show being so amazing when I was a kid!
The last few minutes of the main event, starting from Roman's comeback and ending with the cash-in is pure awesomeness. The best ending to any wrestling show ever, as you said.
this was the first wrestlemania i didnt watch since i started watching wwe its really cool to watch these videos to at least get an idea of what it was like
This Wrestlemania help make me become a huge fan of wrestling. 2015 was the first year I started watching wrestling and this show made me feel so happy and excited for Raw
I’ll never forget that night… we were in high school and my brother was in a school musical that week, I was watching on my phone and right when he got home from the musical and walked in the door Seth’s music hit and I was screaming for him to get upstairs. He quickly rushed up and we both watched in shock and awe knowing that we watched history
I remember I was a big fan of Roman Reigns since extreme rules 2014 when I started watching WWE . He beat Randy Orton at Summerslam and won Royal rumble 2015. I was the happiest kid waiting for my first ever Wrestlemania to beat the beast who conquered Undertaker and John Cena at Summerslam 2014. In India the show was live at 4 in the morning. It was the day when my result of final exam of school to be released. And approx at 9 AM match for started. Roman got only 1 opening in the match when he hit 3 consecutive superman punch and spears but beast kicked out. I was so hyped up and scared to watch him loose when Brock caught him and gave him F5 and then when I listen Seth music playing, I was shattered. He really did heist the title. It was sad at that time but now when I look back, I appreciate the buildup and with nostalgia it was best ending of WRESTLEMANIA 31.
I used to just know wwe by john cena, undertaker and the rock. But watching wrestlemania 31 with the epic ladder match, rollins vs orton, sting vs taker and the heist of the century that made become a real fan. Since then, i've been watching wwe
This one will always hold a special place in my heart. The only Mania I’ve been to. I had my drivers license 2 days and I drove down to Santa Clara on my own and tailgated and got wasted 😂
I was 10 years old when this WM happened, and after going back and watching some ones I didn’t get to watch when it was live, this one resonated with me a ton
This time period, spring 2015, was equally both a dark and bright time of my life, I was a high school freshman and my fandom for WWE was slowly starting to fade at the time, but this show reminded me why I loved the WWE (then 33 happened and that got me to stop watching for a whole year lol)
I was there live and in person. And I have to admit wrestlemania 31 was fun to watch. It had its moments both good and bad. As for the main event itself I was rooting for both Roman and Lesnar at the time and I was shocked when Seth Rollins cashed in his money in the bank case and people were calling it the heist of the century. I’m already calling it for wrestlemania 40 that Damian Priest is going to do the same against Seth and that’d be fun to see.
That Seth cash in fed generations. Jokes aside, I remember the week going into that show I wasn’t hyped at all and had no clue what to expect. We went to the go home raw the week before and wasn’t moved at all. Boy was I wrong, still one of my favorite manias.
I remember watching this live. The crowd was very into every match. Even the pre show 30 man battle royal Andre the giant memorial and the triple threat tag team match
My first wreslemania watching it live I remember I was so hype for it and it was one of the best wrestle mania . times goes so fast I remember this like yesterday .
I had the pleasure of being there live in Levi Stadium for this PPV and let me tell you it was an incredible experience. It my first WM and it was most definitely a memorable one.
My 1st Mania to attend and no better way then it being 10 minutes away from my house. I saved up so much money over the year to get floor seats for this event and did so. Everything was so perfect that day. The weather the atmosphere and the wrestling. Whats even crazier is the people around me didnt believe me when I said I have a feeling Seth is cashing in tonight and just everyone was like nahh wait till tomorrow on Raw but I was so confident he would. And even when I heard his music I just started jumping and marking out thinking wtf is going on. I lost my voice right when that bell rang to make it a triple threat match. Everyone was on there feet and you can just see how crazy the fans got those final minutes. Right when Seth pinned Roman I just went so crazy. My 18 year old self couldn’t believe what I just witnessed. Even my dad who was with me started laughing at me cause of the joy I was having and how I couldn’t believe it happened. It was such a great night. Such a very special time. To top things off even though we weren’t sitting in the section of the floor where the custom chairs were at we still managed to take 3 chairs with us. Thankfully this was at the time they didn’t care and just started giving the chairs away nor were they checking your ticket. So im blessed to still have them. Nowadays at any event they are so strict and wanna see your ticket and where you sat ridiculous! But glad we got away with them! Great Mania and still one of my favorite of all time
I was AT this Mania. You can see my head pop into the shot as Seth runs down the ramp for his cash in on the left side of the screen. I usaully watched PPVs with some friends but I obviously couldn't cuz I was gonna be at Mania in San Jose. "oh you're flying all that way for the worst Mania, that's a wasted of a birthday present" they said. I remember checking the group chat afterward and they were like "wow that was actually the best Mania of all time how the hell did that happen?" This was also the show that helped cement my desire to be a wrestler after Wrestle Kingdom 9 had put the idea in my head in January of that year.
This WrestleMania is definitely up there for me. That RKO to Seth lives rent-free in my head as one of (if not the best) RKO ever. Between that and the Rollins cash in, I don't know which is my favorite. W for WWE.
Wrestlemania 31 was not only my family and I's first ever Wrestlemania but our first ever PPV and this wrestlemania was blessing in a show. John Cena finally beating rusev was the victory we were all dying to see at the time and that moment had us celebrating like it was life or death. This is truly top 3 best wrestlemanias OAT
Easily my favorite mania ever. The songs they played like money and the power the stage sting finally wrestling at mania the vibes were all there. Then at the end one of the shocking moments ever this had it all
I have been watching Wrestling since Hogan/Andre on SNME in 1988. All my life I wanted to go to a Wrestlemania, but I lived in the CA Bay Area and it never came...until Mania 31. I remember everyone totally trashed the card going in, and even I was mad that Sting/Taker wasn't happening. But I was still happy to be at a Wrestlemania. I can honestly say that since then, there has not been a single Mania held that I can say I would have rather gone to than that one.
The joy I have in saying this was my first live Wrestlemania, it was so good. Granted it was a bit downhill from here but I'll forever remember this Mania
It was my first wrestlemania, I was a broke and saved up for it and my parents got it for me and I loved it and the crazy thing is that I grew up on wwe 2k15 and I love the game even tho it’s bland but for me it’s a hidden gem and 2015 was too.
Yeah I was there live and I can tell you the stadium was electric! Everybody was losing their minds. Yet wwe manages to find the two dipshit losers who looked sad and devastated
this is one of my favorite childhood/teenage Mania’s for sure I remember going to the FYE store at my super dead mall a couple towns over and getting a Roman Reigns foam fist for mentioning WrestleMania 31. I thought that was sick as hell. My godfather had brought me to his friend’s place because I had no internet at home and we all watched on a giant flatscreen and it was great. I loved the show from start to finish. But HOLY SHIT, the Rollins cash in had me marking tf out! My godfather’s friend had to tell me to be quiet because I jumped off the damn couch.
One of my most fondest memories comes from this WrestleMania. This was going to be the first one I ever watched live with my family (in a hotel near the stadium) and I remember just one match specifically. I was 6 and was a huge Cena fanboy and my dad was going for Rusev. So him and little me have a bet where if Cena wins I get an action figure. Holy crap was I glad Cena came out on top afterwards.
This was my WrestleMania that I watched and I had some friends over looking back on it was a good show. My 11 year old ass was shocked when Seth cashed in and became WWE Champion 😂and it is a moment that holds a place in my heart. I can truly say that had I not watched WrestleMania 31, who knows if I would have been a wrestling fan today
simply seeing the undertaker bounce back after the wrestlemania prior was the best thing to see because he's always been an icon, and watching him back on top was the best.

😂😂 it’s was that boring to you. I had the same experience watching the streak end fell asleep I wake up to lesnar raising his hand
This one will always hold a special place in my heart. The only Mania I’ve been to. I had my drivers license 2 days and I drove down to Santa Clara on my own and tailgated and got wasted 😂
The people who came up with the main event were really like- "Who's winning, Roman or Brock" -- "How about Seth"
I was 10 years old when this WM happened, and after going back and watching some ones I didn’t get to watch when it was live, this one resonated with me a ton
This was my first wm and boy what a hell of a one to start with
This time period, spring 2015, was equally both a dark and bright time of my life, I was a high school freshman and my fandom for WWE was slowly starting to fade at the time, but this show reminded me why I loved the WWE (then 33 happened and that got me to stop watching for a whole year lol)
If they do it against Roman it might be even more insane that Seth’s cash in
This was the first wrestlemania I ever watched good times
Great Mania and still one of my favorite of all time
I know I’m late as hell but don’t forget how good the 2 songs chosen as the ppv songs and the mini concert they had was amazing.
Great vid brother
Because of the WWE network this was the first one I could watch live, so its always been special to me. Plus it was pretty good.
It was my first wrestlemania, I was a broke and saved up for it and my parents got it for me and I loved it and the crazy thing is that I grew up on wwe 2k15 and I love the game even tho it’s bland but for me it’s a hidden gem and 2015 was too.
Wrestlemania 31 was my first time watching wrestling and got hooked ever since
The first Mania I've attended so it holds
a place in my heart.
my passion as a fan was at an all time high this year and this WM will always have my heart
My favourite part about Wrestlemania 31 is those two dudes in the crowd with their hands on their heads and jaws on the floor right after Rollins won.
Yeah I was there live and I can tell you the stadium was electric! Everybody was losing their minds. Yet wwe manages to find the two dipshit losers who looked sad and devastated
this is one of my favorite childhood/teenage Mania’s for sure
I remember going to the FYE store at my super dead mall a couple towns over and getting a Roman Reigns foam fist for mentioning WrestleMania 31.
I’m late to the party on this comment but the rko to Evan Bourne was one of my favorites I was in a hospital waiting room and screamed 🤣
I love how Sting finally had a WWE Match at this event!
What’s the song at 6:29
This was my WrestleMania that I watched and I had some friends over looking back on it was a good show.
So no one gonna mention Aston Martin Music playing in the background?
I was not even invested in wrestling anymore. But i still remember when a dude cashed in IN WRESTLEMANIA. unforgettable.
Imagine if Undertaker won the Royal Rumble in 2015, just to face Brock Lesnar and avenge his Wrestlemania streak.
That would be lame
