Asuka tapping out to the Figure Eight is, unfortunately, a huge blemish on an otherwise flawless match though.
I was thinking about someone making a list like this, and now it came true 😊
My one criticism with this, is that it's too short. 39 matches in 12 minutes doesn't leave room for a lot of detail. If you know the matches that's ok I suppose, but for those who don't, you're not given much info as to just what made them so great. List like this shoulda been done more as a long form video IMO.
Which one will it be for X?
One of the rare lists that picked the match that I would pick, as Bret vs Owen is my favorite match of all time, Mania or otherwise. I like it even more than their 5 star SummerSlam match. But I wouldnt call foul if you had gone with HBK vs Razor.
Disagree on Michaels vs Tatanka. Headshrinkers vs Steiners was the best match and criminally underrated.
Guys, please change that horrible background music. I'm not sure if I'm on hold, stuck in a lift, or watching a video about wrestling.
Bryan vs HHH was better than the main event, personally I think Bryan vs Kofi is super overrated, Seth vs Cody was the match of Mania 38 and Rhea vs Charlotte or the IC Triple threat was the best of 39.
Seems like you’re complaining about every match that was picked…like how do you expect someone to get appreciate wrestling if you’re going to bash the old stuff just because it doesn’t appeal to you.
Wrestling in the 80s wasn’t the best at times but it gave people something to watch and enjoy.
Coming off a bit snobby tbh
I might actually give the nod to the Headshrinkers vs Steiner Bros at WMIX. Really fun match with an insane spot in it. Shawn vs Diesel is funny because they both said Diesel kicking out at 1 was a terrible idea but they did as they were told and were like "see? Told ya"
So I guess you consider the two night Wrestlemanias one event or the other nights didn’t have anything worth mentioning?
WM 33 Styles and Shane killed it so much that every match after just seemed bland (it was the opener), but then the Big Dog putting down Taker was great and saved it
Absolute travesty not to have Gunther vs Sheamus vs McIntyre for WM 39
But of course the Canadian went with his fellow Canadians
I may be in the minority, but I can still separate what the man became and his excellent wrestling ability enough to enjoy his matches, regarding WM20 on this list. He can never be forgiven, but by God, his in ring work is still some of the best ever.
"Greatest", "of all time", "best ever"... don't do a drinking game with this video, you will DIE! 😂
Tempest dude slow down. This vid could’ve been 20 minutes and you could talk slower and actually expound on WHY the matches were great
