This got them from being terrible back to playoff contention. It's a damn shame they never made it past the divisional round. Their best chance was in 1991 against the very same Broncos. Up 21-3 and then having to hold the Broncos had on defense 4th down twice against them and the Oilers defense couldn't hold them.

The astrodome in 87 was a fun inexpensive place and this started a seven year playoff run that saw the oilers win most of the home games 🤠🍻🍺
