It's the best vedio I have seen on this topic before this I was not able to understand anything about mining he explained so easily this man is a genius .
There is another way to go here, I picked up a modular crypto miner stand that had a server power supply bay, and a fan on it to run 2 GPUs, I hooked that up to a very old 2010 Acer basic desktop that I got for free from work, and with a couple of the cheapest GPUs I could find I was making 4 to 5 dollars per day with that set up. I ran 2 GTX 1660 super GPUs so they’re very efficient and don’t create a lot of heat or use too much power, so eventually they will pay for themselves and the power supply only cost $15 included shipping!
The Xbox 360 had a PowerPC CPU you idgit. It might've been called "Xenon" at Microsoft, but it was not a Intel CPU. They ditched Intel over corporate disagreements

Wow, this looks really interesting. Thank you for the comment. I will check if I can make something like that. Thank you for the advice ;)
@@datafriendly can you make a video or a review about that as well please?
@@MrSuperikman I'll check if I can get the parts. If so - I'll make it ;)
@@datafriendly Yeah I'm interested too! Great video!
could you please do a video talking about what you did exactly with more details ?
I have no fridge, no AC, no washing machine....you are giving me ideas!!
Great!!
Thank You for the information provided! best of regards!

@@datafriendly welcome 🤗
Very nice video, Make more videos brother
Thanks ;)
New sub sir
Thanks for subbing!
what are CPU and GPU you used in the video?
Intel Xeon E3-1240 v5
NVIDIA Quadro K620
Only thing you missed was electricity cost to run this, I expect it to be at least 30 times more than earnings.
I think I mentioned about it at one point. But yes, electricity cost would be around 5$ / month.
xmr use 2mb cash ber threats from the L3 cash memory
Thanks for the info
My 2016 PC makes me about 1 dollar a day mining GPU and CPU. This is not counting the electrical bill and with current costs time to fold.
What are the specs of your PC? And what are you using to mine?
@@datafriendly 1060 6gb and 1600 ryzen
😄
;)
what is the wattage of your PSU?
Hi, it's 400 watts
I found my dad's old pc, it's a core 2 duo and a GeForce g210. Can I mine with them?
To be honest, i think you will pay for the electricity more, than you could earn while mining.
Sad thing is with mining ANY coin at all you now have to do quarterly taxes. Even for that 8 cents.
It depends on the country you're in. This is in US, right?
@@datafriendly Yeah. They made it a nightmare here.
Sad... I have a bad feeling, that this will come to Europe as well...
@@HalkerVeil The land of "free", right?
@@bo-dine7971 lol I heard that was a thing. Haven't seen it in full yet.
what benchmark software did you use at 2:15 ?
That's just a simple task manager, included in all windows as default tool. Just type "Task manager" in your start menu and you will find it.
Are you have mining using command line?
App has a graphic interface, but everything runs on the command line.
Other cryptocurrencies need less hardware resources for mining, try them...for example monero
Thanks for advice, I will check ;)
Spoiler:- Mining isn't Profitable if You're using Old PC 🥲
Your Electricity cost Will be More than What You can Earn
Yes, that's why I don't mine BTC on that old PC anymore.
i got free electricity
1$ per day its not a bad deal lol haha
@@bigboybojji8426 yes but you can't mine etherium anymore or Indian like me can't generate profit because of our high rate of tax in Bitcoin (30%)
“Xenon processor” bruh is that a computer or an Xbox 360?
Computer :)
????
The Xbox 360 had a PowerPC CPU you idgit. It might've been called "Xenon" at Microsoft, but it was not a Intel CPU. They ditched Intel over corporate disagreements
Hello sir! How can I propose a collaboration partnership with you?
If you are still interested, you can send me e-mail to a.data.friendly@gmail.com
Only worth it to mine a bit of Monero for some anonymous money to pay for your MULLVAD vpn or something
Yup
