well i'm not him but a 3090 does not do to well at 110C, its up to you but you can copper mod it. it'll be hard but easy at the same time just make sure you do it right and you can get temps down a solid 15 or more in decreasing in temps.

I´m all new to this, just trying out NiceHash at the moment. But i have a question regarding using two gpu´s. Does it matter what gpu it is in it self or is it just the memory size that is important? I´m thinking of buying a Geforce titan with 12 gb of memory. It´s an older card, so the question is: would my money be better spent on a more recent card with maybe 8 gb memory? Going to be running two EVGA 3080 ti’s. I’m using NBminer right now, but might move to kryptec miner. It Seems very easy to turn on and off the GPUs when gaming. Question is, I set my over clocking on the GPUs but do I need to do it in the NBminer as well?
If I have 2 3070’s and have a 750W psu is it enough? Applying it to both situations (mining with both or mining with one and gaming with the other one) great videos btw👌
I’ve had no problems. I bought a power meter just to be sure and while I’m mining the whole system uses about 330 W. While gaming it goes up to 440-450 W, so a 750 W psu is more than enough.

I have tried reducing the mem clocks, increase the page memory, tried different miners. But, could not figure out the issue. Can you tell me what could be the issue?
How many external gpus can be connected to a laptop? I’m trying to connect 4 rtx 3070s (I have two, will be buying two more in the next few months) for the time being before building or purchasing an actual rig.
So I have a gaming pc I ordered a few months ago, it has a Ryzen 5 5600x on an asrock x570 Taichi with rtx 3080 fe. I was able to get an evga rtx 3080 for msrp. Would it be worth it for me to mine on both in 1 case? I do like to game as well.

You'd need a second motherboard and CPU, but otherwise, yes
what if i put the 3gpu in the 3pcie Slots available without using the riser ? is that possible ? if my Mobo has 3/4 Pcie Slots , in case the Computer is Built just for Mining , No Gaming Included
how do you pick what GPU the computer uses when gaming? would it default to GPU 1? or would it use them both?
Someone answer please
Please
Hi mate. Your videos have been brilliant as has your website OC settings. Just my 3090 is hitting temps of 110degC while mining etherium. Have you heard of these high temps? Do you think they are ok for 24/7 at this temp?
well i'm not him but a 3090 does not do to well at 110C, its up to you but you can copper mod it. it'll be hard but easy at the same time just make sure you do it right and you can get temps down a solid 15 or more in decreasing in temps.
Is it safe to have 2 RTX 3070 in 750 watts power supply? Thanks in advance.
1 RTX 3070 - for work and gaming then mining if not use.
1 RTX 3070 - dedicated for mining.
the video is sick !!
want to ask if my Corsair RM850 power supply is sufficient for 2 GPU (Rtx3080ti, 1660Super) ?
Thanksss
Thanks a ton for the content!
very useful video! just wanna ask i have a 2080ti i am thinking to add a 3090 does that hinders my gaming performance in term of bottlenecking?
Could you find a 3d printed housing for the PCBs that also has support legs for the cards? possibly with interchangability via some form in interlocking mechanism?
(just an idea)
Hi, wanna ask if it’s safe to me for using 650w for rtx3060 & gtx1660super ? 🙏🏻
Just ordered a 30L omen with a rtx3090. Have heard quite a few stories on how that specific pc ad well as the card run hot. Any recommendations on keeping it cool for long term use and stability (a few years or more). As well as better cases etc to keep it cool?
Best option is open cases and making sure you put your fan speed up, and undervolting the gpu!
Perfect I'll start looking down that route. Thankyou sir!
Hey man you are just too good in explanation!!!
Thank you!!
About to get 3 more cards in the post but I have the same old blue bios, going to be interesting if I can get them to work
Update: managed to get 2 nvidia cards running on my fx-6300 using an old gigabyte blue bios motherboard. Waiting on a riser splitter to get the other 2 cards running.
I’d like to also thank you for your power supply video, saved me money and time trying to get a 1000w power supply in the UK where there isn’t much availability not to mention the price being 4x as much as a server psu. Learnt how to start mining in 2015 from how much bitcoin, then bits be tripping and your videos have really helped over the past few months. Keep up the good work!
Great vid bro! (Watched it on 2x speed) but was wondering if the new AMD cards (6900 xt) respond to -gpow in Phoenix miner as mine doesn’t. I set it to 70 and it does nothing so I’m not sure if AMD has BIOS locked it or something.
Thank you! And not sure but other than making sure your running as admin then there isn't anything else I can think off!
@@MiningChamber thanks man for the quick reply! It’s not really a big problem as 6000 series isn’t for mining. I was just wondering if I could make some money out of my gaming rig while using for other things.
@cheekycream the 6000 series are suitable for mining eth and rvn and it's profitable
@@geraldpheonix IK but the ROI is bad so it's not a great mining card + 3060 ti has same hash rate +-5%
@@cheekycream4148 bro, it only depends on how much you bought the cards; Nvidia cards are quite expensive than the AMD cards; with the RX 6800, I think 64mhs is good, and the Roi depends on your hardware cost and your energy cost
Very interesting information 🤔 👍
Do i have to install both of the latest drivers? I’m having trouble on my 2 Nvidia GPU gaming/mining pc.
wish i even had a good enough pc or enough money to begin with but one day, one day i will be mining
Going to have to change you to my Autobot instructional voice
thanks for the info!
Excellent video my dude. Please could you tell me how to configure a 3070 and a 1080 to mine on an old motherboard. Thanks.
Good video
I just want to ask how much life span of graphic card if it used in Mining ?
They live as long as you take care of them. Keeping temps low, dusting it here and there. Etc.
I'm using nicehash and 2 3080 GPUs, but my second one isnt getting nearly as good of megahash speed as the first GPU. Do you know what might be causing this?
LOVE IT BRO, KEEP IT UP MAN, IM GETTING BETTER BACK IN ACTION!! LOL
Thank you bro!!
Great video! I have a rtx 2070 super with power limit at 58% and a 650w gold psu and I am wondering whether I can add a 1660ti which I have laying around. Can the psu support both gpus?
Thanks in advance.
These videos have taught a noob like me. Is there a way to power two GPU’s with a regular desktop PC power supply 600w gold plus
This was a lot of help. Thank you. Help stoped window from restarting every 10 mins. I am having trouble putting a 4th gpu on. Any suggestions?
this was helpful. thanks
Hi,great video....have a question,i have a rtx 2060 in my gaming pc,i can also add another gpu via the riser,is my 650w psu enough?i would add another 2060 or a 2080
I´m all new to this, just trying out NiceHash at the moment.
Thank´s for all the good content and explenations!
Yes it does matter! Many factors play in performance, such as memory bus and speed so better to get a more recent gpu
@@MiningChamber So i got a hold of a 3070. Can i just plug it in to my gaming rig with a riser then? I have a 750W 80 plus gold rated power supply. I´m already using a 3060 ti.
Is it really safe to use splitters to power both the riser and GPU?
Wouldn’t that be too much charge on the splitter, making it a single point of failure?
Its the recommended way to go, but if its a 3090 then you need 2 cables from the psu itself, splitter will not be able to maintain it
Thanks for the info mate.
Keep up the good work
do you have to plug it in the pci-e express slot in the motherboard? Can you not plug it in via USB?
Have to be pcie slot
@@MiningChamber ahh okay. thanks!
hello man
great video ,i have a question i just bought Gigabyte Z590 UD which have (1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x16 (PCIEX16)
1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x4 (PCIEX4)
...
can i use gpu riser on the 2nd pcie slot x16 (which running at x4)?
will it give same perfomance like the 1st pcie x16?
Thanks a lot, mate.
I have rx 570 and gtx 1070 on the same rig and it works flawlessly without any issues
@BattlemageElsa i have a b450m motherboard Asrock steel legend to be exact, and i had the gtx 1070 on the first slot and first boot install driver and stuff and then i plug the rx 570 after reboot and install the driver for it afterwards and I haven't got any bsod or errors till now
Thnxx broo, very helpfull
Going to be running two EVGA 3080 ti’s. I’m using NBminer right now, but might move to kryptec miner. It Seems very easy to turn on and off the GPUs when gaming. Question is, I set my over clocking on the GPUs but do I need to do it in the NBminer as well?
Thanks! Are you using some special motherboard? I do not have those settings in m BIOS, I can tell you :)
.
Some motherboards do some don't, usually the newer ones do but I'm using just a regular newer gen gaming board
@@MiningChamber Me too and mine does not... oh well, anyhow.. thanks and keep up the good work :)
Try to update your BIOS to the newest version, worked for me with ASUS TUF B550.
really appreciate your help thank you
I cannot find part one of this video in your video list, What is the title or can you provide a link?
If I have 2 3070’s and have a 750W psu is it enough? Applying it to both situations (mining with both or mining with one and gaming with the other one) great videos btw👌
Should be fine! And thank you!
Have you encountered any issues with this? I have a 3060ti and im getting a 3060 soon, so I want to mine with both at once (I also have a 750W psu).
I’ve had no problems. I bought a power meter just to be sure and while I’m mining the whole system uses about 330 W. While gaming it goes up to 440-450 W, so a 750 W psu is more than enough.
@@juandanielnassar8914 alright, that's good to hear. thanks a lot
Can I do this on a DELL XPS 8910 and if so what power supply do I need to run 2 GTX 1660 super graphic cards?
Very informative video thx
If I were to use a 3060 and a 1080 ti what power supply do you recommend
good job thanks for such informative vídeo! did u know if it is possible to use ryzen APU to simple task with the integrated graphics like vídeos and old games while mining in external gpu?
Yes, it's possible of course.
Hey I have a 1080 but wanting to buy maybe a 2070 to add for mining, would that cause any issues? Thanks in advance!
hai mining chamber
i have some doubts
1 is it possible to connect multiple gpu without sli ?
2 is pci riser safe
How do you chose witch crypto currency to mine or is that set automatically based on gpu power ?
Thanks for this video. I have 3060 on pice x16 slot and 2060 super on pice x4 slot with a riser. Sometimes in the miner it shows GPU 1 (i.e. 2060 super) is lost. And pc crashes. I have tried reducing the mem clocks, increase the page memory, tried different miners. But, could not figure out the issue. Can you tell me what could be the issue?
Does it crash right away or does it mine for a bit then crash? Join the discord server link in Description and ask there encase I miss your comment
@@MiningChamber mine for a bit then crash..sometimes it runs for hours then crash..sometimes it crashes after 1 min..the temps are within limits too
How many external gpus can be connected to a laptop? I’m trying to connect 4 rtx 3070s (I have two, will be buying two more in the next few months) for the time being before building or purchasing an actual rig.
So I have a gaming pc I ordered a few months ago, it has a Ryzen 5 5600x on an asrock x570 Taichi with rtx 3080 fe. I was able to get an evga rtx 3080 for msrp. Would it be worth it for me to mine on both in 1 case? I do like to game as well.
Bro i love ur intro
Nice video bro!! 1 question pls when start my graphics to compute for mining with both card is it ok to stop the primary card and start playing a game with compute mode on?
thank you! and yes that is fine
which motherboard do you use in your setup here in the vid? an msi b450?
:edit can you reccomend me a motherboard for 2-3 gpu setup with a 2700X please
You can find the parts list of this pc in the video linked. Any motherboard that's compatible with that cpu and has enough pcie slots should be good
@@MiningChamber thanks, and I greatly appreciatie your videos man! very informative even for complete newbies like me, nice work!
