    14 Firing Squad
Moving through time and space, fate has a mysterious way of working. Penetration went their way in 1979 at the end of the punk era. Their contribution was underrated at the time, but badly missed once they'd gone. 23 years is a lifetime away and the fact that they a back together is as much of a surprise to the band as it is to their fans.
Have fun while you can! In the words of the late Ian Dury: Penetration Rule OK!

SECOND LIVE SONG BY PENETRATION RECORDED 25 YEARS AFTER THEIR EARLIEST DEMOS.
Yesterday we heard the demo version of Firing Squad from 1977. It was also the A-side of their third single released in 1978. And here they revisit it a third time at this Northumbria University concert in 2002. You'll see they still got the power!

Along with the adverts punk bands who pushed the boundaries of punk to show that punk wasn't all about "3 chords"
