In this ongoing tale, I confront the brutal challenges of a harsh ice age, relying on powerful psycasts and a formidable armoury to repel unending raids. The struggle intensifies on the highest difficulty setting. Can I truly become overpowered and guide our medieval colony to victory against the relentless odds? This was played on Rimworld 1.4 with the Royalty, Ideology and Biotech DLC enabled. This is how I Spent 300 Days in a Medieval Rimworld.

I think I have an explanation for Medieval Rimworld having space battles: Angels and Demons are still fighting for control over the planet. Or Space tech aliens fighting over the "uninhibited" world.
The alien tech can just be angel/demon tech tbh. The "beautiful looking" ones angelic while the "uglier" ones are demonic. The "pewpew" could easily be explained by "magical energy refined" xdd
Or it is a medieval planet within the rim universe

Veequeue, you can still regrow chapmans spine, with regrow limbs it usually only regrows one or two things at a time, in this case the radius was selected to regenerate. So just use regrow on him every time a missing part finished regenerating and soon enough he will be fine.
Edit/addition: also said this in the last medieval vid (100 to 200 days) but with ghost matters sword that regens 20% psyfocus with every kill with it he could become an insane warlord/any path psycaster capable of casting high cost psycasts back to back... or you could get him killed, thus unbinding his persona weapon then give it to cat, then resurrect ghost matter
ANOTHER addition/edit: if you are runnning insects expanded from the VE team then you could make a kind of low-tech hydroponics by planting an armarillix plant in the middle of a room, then when its grown it can illuminate light that acts like a sun lamp that can grow other plants around it, doing this in an enclosed room with a lit campfire for temperature on somewhat fertile ground and bam you have scuffed hydroponics

The casualness of sending DragonRooby to hunt with a sword got me
if you're getting problems with lag I suggest installing performance mods: rocketman, clean pathfinding, performance optimizer, dubs performance analyzer and performance fish.
Also, you can still greatly improve your defences. Compartmentalize that wall to help slow down enemies and use whatever you can to slow enemies attacking the outer wall (trenches, cavalry spikes, low walls, even stone chunks) WITHOUT completely blocking them, leaving only one main entrance "clear" (like a bridge). Even with CAI most enemies should try to go through the bridge, while the others are slowed down by the obstacles giving you more time
This series though is getting intense and more harder as the colony builds up dang . Keep it up

I really hope one day you can make actual armories in rimworld with loadout that you can just right click and have a pawn equip an entire load out, cause my god I hated medieval rimworld for the simple fact that the second it was winter I had to wear parkas to stay warm and ever raid they still got to keep all of their armour
there is a mod called armor racks. you set it like a stockpile for what armor you want in it then set a pawn as owner. when being attacked you just press a button and the pawn will swap his gear for what is in the rack

A interesting mechanic to prevent abusing resurrections and regeneration.
Wonder if you cut the entire hand off and then regrow it will it regrow in full or retain the loss of sacrificed fingers.
It doesn't actually because even if you remove the hand, it will still display there that the finger has been sacrificed.
The only real way to abuse the system is having necropath + puppeteer.
question.. i dont know if i remember it correctly but for your freezer do you just use that 2nd cold spell too keep it cold or is there a better spell or way to keep it cold without having to do that every 5 days?

How do you handle sieges? When I downloaded the mods the seiges do not work
Quick tip: Puppeteer + necropath is actually OP because the caster can just mind jump to different bodies.
This means infinite fingers = infinite resurrects.

to survive the ice age I make tons of pemmican and soup and use the magical bowls to make a freezer.

would another pawn be able to apply regenerate limbs to the one used resurrect?
The lost fingers says that it cannot be healed, so i guess the only way is to replace the whole limb with bionics. And even then i dont know if you can resurrect someone once all your limbs are bionics.
Not gonna lie, almost dropped the series when Cagorathe died.
This is why I drop the colonist instant kill to 50% or less... It is silly, but I do get attached to them.
