I feel like people need to talk about his mental health more because, on top of all of the stressful shit happening to him, the manipulation and the betrayals hes had a constant risk of the swatter from a couple of years ago coming back. These swatters sent the police to him almost every day and he felt like he was at constant risk of dying and I'm pretty sure thats where he gets those crazy night terrors from.

Even with common law marriage here in Texas, you still have to sign documents to validate it. I had to look it up today because I was filling out legal documents that would have been affected by that law. It's not just something that 'happens' or can be declared without some kind of notarization or written process-- if it was that way, any man and woman living together for a long period of time would be common-law married.

There's no requirement to make a Statutory Declaration, only to "present as" (aka, play the part).

She reminds me of somebody I knew. She would literally go out of her way to try to take as much money off a friend of mine and do everything in her power to ruin his life. Court cases and in general online trying to character assassinate him. He was in turn being distraught by the whole thing, to the point of suicidial tedencies. If not for good friends backing him up and a loving family I dunno what would have happened.
Just makes me question how many of these types of cases there are out there, literally ruining people's lives. I never want to live through something like it, seems like a fucking nightmare.

@tealppup5180 SA survivor here - no actually, the vast majority of SA survivors I know actually do want vengeance. But they also want to heal. It's a pretty equal split - most survivors usually want *both* at the end of the day. It's pretty normal and common. Especially for someone who is mentally ill - like how I was when I was assaulted, I started lashing out and trying to take vengeance very quickly.
