      They both are so bad. At the point where xqc says you do it Ethan says well fine I do and after that repeats you haven't proven I do it 😂 Whole thing was a joke. Also if anyone remember anything about the Teddy Fresh thing, in the first response to it Ethan says: "It's an indrusty standard" and downplays it 😅 Apparently some designs were taken from sent portfolios of applications so it's just a lie that it was a problem of one guy at the workplace... Another thing is reaching out to this one creator, who says that he loves when streamers react to their stuff which is totally against Ethan's premise since he is arguing the morality of it and not just x doing it 😅 Also Ethan does way too much of cutting off and finishing with what he thinks the rest will be and it usually even wasn't going to the direction Ethan takes it. He later admitted that he does it too much but he does it for knowing already what he other person is going to say and he speeds it up 😂 They both are unhinged and just bad at debating.
      Like yes xqc absolutely comes off way worse and should have planned and done researche but I don't feel like Ethan came off good if you just listen to him without thinking how badly x is doing.

      @HappyLarry. 11 місяців тому +20

      @slow_riding4225 is your argument that he didn't *definitively* prove that there weren't outside influences? That's impossible, you can't do that on our side because we don't get nearly as much data as UA-cam has on IT'S side. But the creator (as it was literally mentioned in the video) took two very similar circumstances: one streamer watched their video, but told people to go to their account and subscribe. Numbers went up. Another (xQc) just watched his content, and uploaded it in its entirety. Numbers didn't go up. A child could comprehend that. If xQc disagrees, the onus is on him to disprove that assessment. But he can't, cause he's an idiot, and you're stupid for supporting him.

    In all seriousness, I feel like Charlie and Pyro are one of the few content creators who actually make transformative react vids. Charlie actually give opinions and statements to the vid he's reacting and Pyro sometimes paused the vid he's reacting to every 5 seconds or he watched a full 1 minute of the video he's reacting to and have a 5 minute commentary on the content he's reacting to.
    Edit: For those who wants to mention Asmongold or other streamers, it’s not that I ignore them. I just use Charlie and Pyro as the example because they’re the ones that I’m most familiar with. Hence why I said “one of the few”, not the only ones.

      hasan does this too. it’s literally a massive joke in his community or twitch in general that he turns a 20 minute video into a 1 and a half hour reaction. the chair clips are taken out of context and are like 5 minutes out of 8 hour streams.

It's especially bad when someone like xqc uploads a "reaction" to youtube because he's directly taking views away from the original video because it's on the same website. I do still agree that leaving the video on is bad, but i know hasan specifically will cast the video back to his phone when he gets up, and then pauses and commentates on what was just shown as soon as he gets back.

    The reason Pyro isn't being called out is
    1) he's entirely self-aware about what he's doing
    2) part of that self-awareness is because he isn't a react youtuber - he's a deep dive/commentary youtuber who is forced to put out slop so he can remain relevant (and financially stable enough) to make what he wants to.
    Yeah, 99% of the stuff Pyro puts out is slop for the piggies. Yes that includes me. Yes the piggies eat it up. But that 1% is platinum-tier, and he's fully aware that's the real reason most of us are here.

    This whole resurgence of the react drama has made me come to gauge good vs bad react channels on the basis of "Do people go to them to watch them watch something or to just watch something with them." If you go to a creator to watch them react to something then it is their reactions and commentary you've come to see and less so the video they are watching. If you go to a reactor and are just kind of watching the video with them and treating them as someone who curates videos for you so you don't have to find them yourself. They might not be a very good react channel. Or at least one that could be counted as "harming the creator ecosystem."
