In this video AEM's Kirk Miller goes over some of the features and how they improve performance and make installation easier. Bought a kit for my 2019 6.7, 2 250ml nozzles. If I set it for start of 10 psi and it rains…I get map correlation coded and it puts the system in emissions not ready. 15psi start seems to work if it rains. Also, egr butterfly valve will freeze stuck if the system sprays below freezing. Good system…but needs human involvement.

Can you use with a 90 degree fitting or does it change the swirl?
Currently 400bhp 2.0 tfsi Leon Cupra. Running a 500cc nozzle but I drained a full meth tank in about 25 mins racing. Is this too much usage? Should I run a 250cc nozzle or is that too small? I don't have any leaks and I'm running a solenoid
Hello brothers i have a problem i need your help i have the AEM methanol kit 30-3305 it is with wires only (not vacuum) theres the blue wire that i do not know where to connect so it can measure the boost and to know how much to spray?
The car is BMW 335i f30 306bhp 2014?

Can I run this water meth kit as a substitute for an intercooler to bring charged air intake temperatures down?
I wouldn’t necessarily call it a substitute for an intercooler because the water/methanol kit only functions at WOT but it will bring the air intake temps down when it is on
Does the nozzle work well with pure VP m5 methanol will be using 500cc just Purchase the V3 kit I would love to install But hesitant looking for more information.can you please advise?

VP suggests you can run M5 without modifying an M1 tune, which makes me believe it sprays similar. I don't see any specific information on the AEM website or in the V3 product instructions about the use of M5. Therefore, I suggest you contact AEM before proceeding. Nozzle sucks leaks where tubing connects
What am i missing here? How you spray cooling liquid in an air conduit meant for combustion? Is this a thing? How do i get out of this cave?

I am not seeing a distinct way to tell the difference. Your best bet would be to contact AEM direct to help identify what you have.

I try hooking up the blue signal wire to MAF and. Then to map sensors, but soon as I flip the switch to turn it on, the meth won’t stop running

It sounds like you have AEM’s 30-3350 water/methanol injection system (Summit P/N AVM-30-3350). This kit gets its boost signal from an external MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor, rather than referencing manifold pressure directly. Looking at AEM’s instructions, the blue sensor wire should see 0V off-boost. If the sensor wire is getting voltage at all times, you’ve chosen the incorrect input. Also, make sure the dip switches on the controller are set correctly for your application (on/on/on). If you cannot get the correct input from your vehicle’s factory MAP sensor, consider running an AEM external MAP sensor in the correct boost range for your application.

Im pushing 26psi boost what nozzle do you recommend
Boost is not a variable in deciding on suggested injector output
“Quick Jetting Guide:
100% water target 8-10% of fuel flow
50/50 mix target 15-20% of fuel flow
100% methanol target 20-25% of fuel flow
If you don't know fuel flow you can do the following.
Horsepower @ crank x .5 = CC jetting (pure water)
Horsepower @ crank x 1.0 = CC jetting (50/50 mix)
Horsepower @ crank x 1.5-2.0 = CC jetting (pure methanol)
For example. 1000 horsepower. You would use 500cc pure water, 1000cc 50/50 mix and between 1500-2000cc pure methanol. Keep in mind these are figures to start with and do not take into consideration all the variables that we have found to affect jetting size. There are many other variables to consider. If you need help selecting a nozzle size feel free to call us directly for technical help.
@@kyleallen3857 No worries cheers i have had it on the dyno yet but people with the same set up as mine is around 500+ whp i have the 500c v3 in it now 50/50 mix so i would say im right on with nozzle size cheers

Dear sir how to install methanol controller vacuum line
Using the supplied vacuum tee and rubber hose, tap into a manifold pressure (vacuum/boost) line.

Nozzles are trash leaks every 2-3 months, just upgrade to a snow performance nozzle and a check valve and it’s good
only downside is how poor that wiring and connector looks inside the car, looking into a v2 kit wasnt even aware a v3 was out lol
If you have the money and the car for a water/meth kit you can afford some wire loom to make it look pretty
