What happened was I ordered my girlfriend a ring, hence there being no mene order 2 video, in 24k gold and the color blew me away. I had to dip my toe but now I'm all the way in lol
They should include the word plat in the stamp. It would add resale value to the piece.

agreed I think their bit is that they dont want people reselling their jewelry they claim theyll buy it back themselves. weird, obviously you could sell it anyways
I hate how limited their platinum choices are. I have two of the classic chains, both 21" Platinum and they're just too small for my liking. The next size up is ridiculously huge and expensive, nothing I'd wear even if I could afford it. And I don't understand their choices in lengths...21 or 26 inch sucks. Make it 22" and 24" PLEASE.
I absolutely agree with you. I wish they made the heavy rounded box chain and curb chain in platinum. They really should stock their chains in different lengths as well, because it would make it easier to pair their pieces with other jewelers pieces.
@@atlasargentum7019 it really is mind boggling how they decided on the lengths that they did. 22" and 24" is pretty standard for men's chains and for my 24k chains I prefer 24" so I can just slip it over my head if I want to take it off. I think the next one I have made will be a 24" four Baht (60gr) anchor link infinity chain (no clasp) from 9999 Gold. Unfortunately for Platinum we don't have any other affordable choices other than Menē so hopefully they'll make some more variety. I've already emailed them and I know one other guy that did too so I guess if we keep bugging them enough maybe it'll work 😁.

Awesome! The classic chain in platinum is nice and subtle. It seems pretty strong too. I'm sure the Dagger will look good on it.
@@atlasargentum7019 Got bad news, I live in Hungary and they put a lot of tax on it…If I order the dagger and the 21” classic chain in platinum, I have to pay an extra 450 USD to the hungarian customs office….:(
Platinum looks to much like silver to be spending that kind of money rather go with 24k

It's a nice pendant but I'm afraid it might be too small in person. What's the size of the pendant? Would you say it's the size of a dime, penny or nickle?
This is odd. Mene used to provide sizing specifications on their website for chains and pendants, but they have been removed.
It is just about the size of a dime. While it is small, I don't at all find it feminine. It's just an understated classy look in my opinion

Nice video. Does the chain feel strong enough ? I believe it’s about 8 grams, does it feel sturdy while you have it on ?
Absolutely. It's a link chain and all of the links are soldered, so its pretty tough. My 7 year old twisted the ever loving **** out of it one time and it didn't seem to cause any physical change to the shape or integrity of the links. I wouldn't wear a larger pendant on it for the sole reason of proportions, but I have no doubt that it could support one of you wanted to.
Their Platinum chains seem sturdy enough but I've had their gold Rounded Box chain and I absolutely didn't feel like it would have held up to 24/7 abuse for a long period of time. When it comes to gold I'd go for a larger chain or one from 9999 Gold Jewelry.
The pendants are too damn small, all but the sundials.
How thick was this chain? The gold classic chain is 0.5 mm wondering if this is the same for reference
I dont have the gold classic for comparison, but I am almost certain that they have the same dimensions.

Yes it works. I think it logs that you used the link and applies it to our accounts upon registration. I have had maybe 5 or so people sign up from the videos sofar.
