None of the designs are suppose to affect the spray pattern. Their main purpose is to protect the needle top. The purpose of crown caps and the like is for when you get really close to the surface, the air has a place to escape and does not cause turbulence around the needle/nozzle tip. The twin tip one, like that come with Harder and Steenbeck is to make picking off tip dry while still protecting the needle. The ring is to draw thin lines. It is suppose to be placed square on the surface and have a set distance so that you can pull perfect lines.
The instructional guide said other wise with different pitches and lengths. Yes you are correct the main goal is to protect the tip. I also concluded that the differences in pattern is so minor maybe only one or two are needed to prevent dry tip and close fine lines. Really do not like the idea of ring touching the surface but canvas or paper artists wouldnt have issues with surface damage. Also not H&S this is Nasedel.
Well done, thanks for all the time and effort, useful, informative video, thank you 👍✌️💜😊 I've never used AE, do these come as a complete set, do I need to specify my airbrush type or will they fit Harder and Steenbeck ABs regardless? Many thanks in advance 👍😊💜
the set only works with a standard thread, I have not experienced Harder and Steenbeck yet so can not report if it works. Single crown is stupid cheap so maybe its with the $4 gamble.
