Ahahahaha I really wish they were right, but we know it isn't reality. I hope my videos will be able to help you a bit - and who knows maybe showing your folks and friends can open their eyes as well ;)
Curt sent me here. 😉 Thanks for introducing a new type of reality when it comes to making art and living a sustainable life as an artist. I would definitely like to see more information regarding branding selling little rid bits of ins and outs in this industry
Haha, yeah this reboot kinda came out of nowhere. I wish you the best of luck with your debut and here's hoping that the upcoming videos I'll have will be useful for you! :)
Oh my god! SHE'S BACK!!! Lol but seriously thank you for starting to do more of these. That side of the story is just as, if not, MORE important than just the drawing.
It's so good to be back! :D It really is so important and I hope I can help some artist or even non-artists out there to be more aware of these things and do things better, smarter and in a healthier way. :)
Thanks for this video :) I am working on making my passion for writing and drawing into a tangible career. I started with writing a bunch of firsr=t drafts for stories, none of them published. Then last year I published three coloring books for girls, thinking about making a picture book next... and then it hit me to try to make a visual novel game. Still looking for my path, as I am not sure comic/manga drawing is my exact path. VN might be it, though, will see :) working on growing my art channel and instagram account while developing the visual novel idea.
Right now the thing I find most complicated is finding the right size of canvas or pixels for an art piece, so many people told me so many different answers, but i just cannot find the best resolution
Ahh i don't what to say but would love to know your opinion on several topics starting with as you said approaching a publicer but most importantly how to grow your comic so alot of people can see it and of course developing your storytelling technique
Fuck i said too much but storytelling and developing one's comics is most important P.S new to the channel and have subscribed plus already love the content keep it up😁😁
@@AnasAli-hm2me Welcome to my channel! :D I'll definitely go over those topics as they are crucial for sure. I hope you'll enjoy my upcoming content. :D
Glad you made a video like this. I'm not an artist myself but I appreciate hearing the nitty gritty about your career. I hope that making more videos like this starts a dialogue and helps others and yourself manage your mental and physical health as creators. Here's to your UA-cam reboot. 🎉
This will be a great help while I am still only 15, I have only subscribed about a month or so ago but I like this and I'm here for it!!! Edit: Also, what I would like you to talk about would be about self publishing
There are many different ways actually and I plan to introduce various alternative ways to make a career and getting publication deals. There's no one method that fits all when it comes to art, so I plan to explore a wide variety of possibilities on how one can get into the industry and make a full-time living out of it.
This is a better, more honest way to talk about this kind of career. I don't like being sold on this endless stream of positivity and changing your mindset will suddenly make you successful at art. I'm currently grinding in a very physical day job and trying to figure out how to grow as an artist without losing my mind. Long comment...but thank you.
Hi Seny! It's been a while! I subscribed back to your channel because I need all the advice since I'm starting to take art more seriously. A topic that you can do would be: Using different tools vs using industry tools to make manga.
Had to sub because I love your voice! Keep up the awesome work. I was in 3D art, plaster, metalworks ect... Gotta say the stress is there too. On the drawing side, I could never move my hands into the images I wanted. That was a terrible experience for me. Any tips on that?
This hits home for me, everyone I know thinks that being a artist is so easy.
They think you can easily become a comic book artist or animator.
Ahahahaha I really wish they were right, but we know it isn't reality. I hope my videos will be able to help you a bit - and who knows maybe showing your folks and friends can open their eyes as well ;)
I'd love to hear any advice you have on dealing with procrastination!
Procrastination... my nemesis. Definitely have a video coming on that soon!
Ah yes allow me to read your comment while I myself am procrastinating
Afro Ninja approved 🥷🏾🤙🏾 Curt sent me. Just gained another subscriber ready to learn more about manga drawing and everything else like this video
Welcome to my channel! I hope you'll enjoy my upcoming videos and you'll find the content helpful and interesting :)
How to balance school and drawing and dealing with depression
Thank you for your recommendations, I definitely will be talking about these topics!
that very true @saigamiproject making a comic & manga is not easy thing to do but you can have fun with drawing

I'm glad you made this. Thank you. And I pray you well. Seriously.

Wait so how DO you get into the industry? Like did you have to find a local comic producing company or did you start off with internships?
