Everyone recommends docking on the starboard side -eazy peezy. How do you overcome the lack of control if the only option is docking on the port side? Consider that same situation with winds from the port side? Not so easy.......
No, I think what they generally say is something to the effect of not to go abruptly from forward to reverse, or the other way around. In other words, ensure there is a deliberate stop in neutral for a good second or so to ensure the prop/drivetrain has enough time to stop before changing directions.
@@thatboatbroad My thoughts exactly. Wait, I’d love to sell him my 12 passenger Moomba for 1.2 million, and I’d even throw in a boating lesson at no additional charge.
Does docking a wake or tow boat stress you out? Have you had any other issues our viewers should know about?
Even though she was nervous on camera she did a great job. It isn't easy making videos.
Pretty sure she has a voice/ vocal chord issue.
@@collin9085 yup! My voice is totally gone and exhausted from coaching on stop all season! 😭
@@thatboatbroad Sounds painful! Hope you are OK. Great job on the video!
Such a great video---new (to us) boat owner....thank you!
Would love to see a video with docking tips for pontoon boats. Seems like a totally different animal.
Thanks for the idea! Yes, there are differences for sure.

Good video.
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the feedback!
Docking an inboard with the dock on your starboard side is easy. Docking with the dock on your port side is a little bit harder but not to hard.
Thank you!
2:03 I took a long breath for her 😂
XD- Metal No need!
haha yes, she has some annoying voice too
All videos say “in and out of gear” to dock...I thought from my owners manual that would be harmful for the transmission? What gives? 🇨🇦👍🏼

Like it Need it
A good day on the water.... :-)
😂😂😂
why do you call it a 'TOW" boat?
A "tow" boat in this context is designed to tow people (tubing, wakeboarding, skiing, surfing)
I tried the tips in the video and crashed my 400k$ 6 person wake boat into the dock and sank the dock
Ouch, I hope everyone was ok
There are no 6 person Wake boats on the market for $400k. Or 6 person Wake boats at all.
