Arguably the greatest episode of the series so far because every scene mattered. Criston proved himself a great commander and Aemond showed how much better he was than aegon in every way.
The reason y Rhaenys didn’t retreat is because it would show that the blacks don’t support their allies and with how the pr with the blacks is already so low she knew they couldn’t afford it.

Curious how who would be Aegon’s heir if he only has his Daughter and his brother Aemond, said brother that burned him.
Aegon II is slowly becoming more and more like his father, Viserys, either his daughter, or his brother that almost killed him.
What if more of the Black’s dragons joined Rhaenys at Rook’s Rest?

What if Aegon died at Rook's Rest, if Meleys managed to eat him off Sunfyre's back, and Sunfyre got away unscathed to be claimed by a dragonseed. I just want a timeline where he's ok!
That would mean the Greens would have to be confronted by who they should crown as ruler of the iron throne: follow tradition and crown Aemmond cuz he's a man or follow tradition and crown Jaehaera because in terms of inheritance, its the niece/nephew over the uncle. Or they marry Aemmond to Jaehaera as a compromise (which is gonna be creepy af)

Aemond was just stupid. All of this only because little kid got bullied? That's weak reason. Even Daemon would never do this to Viserys.

@@TheDream6842 yes, but Viserys never treated Daemon as badly as Aegon treated Aemond. If anything, before the "Heir for a Day" joke Viserys was too nice. From the sound of things, even after Aemond claimed Vhagar Aegon still put him through the wringer.
Add on to Aegon being extremely incompetent, it's not surprising that when Aemond gets the chance to eliminate his brother, he guns for it. Even in the book, it doesn't seem too OOC for Aemond to do this, given how he's extremely flippant about Aegon's injuries.
@@amorojaz27 But as the other one said above, Aemond get ride of one of their dragons while they are at disadvantage, it wasn't a smart move. Aemond was dumb in the Book, everyone knows that. He caused the fall of Cole's army because he didn't want to share all the glory with his two brothers. He also left KL undefended and fell into Daemon's trick.

Sunfyre didn’t deserve his fate, and he truly deserves a better rider.
But besides that I love the animations of the dragons, and how you can interpret their emotions. That along with how they fight. They fight similar to how birds of prey fight, grabbing each other and spiraling to the ground as they tear each other to shreds.
What if Rhaena claimed Vhaegar?
what if she claimed Vermithor or Silverwing
The Blacks have a huge advantage cuz its Vhagar. Luc is probably still gonna die if Aemmond has to settle for Vermithor, since it's still a formidable dragon (I mean, its the Bronze Dread) but maybe his chances of living are a slightly higher if Aemmond picked Silverwing (and I doubt he'd pick it cuz of how docile it is but then again, Silverwing isnt to be underestimated). Same logic applies to Rhaenys, as Meleys had trouble making significant damage on Vhagar so maybe a smaller and younger opponent like Vermithor or Silverwing might be easier but those two are still faster and more agile than Vhagar
FYI, you dont pronounce the t in sobriquet. The "-quet" is pronounced more like "kay"

I guess that's a reference only for the book fans since he himself never appeared in the GOT show

They weren’t terrible at diplomacy though? The gained all their strength through alliances n having a competent council n was running the kingdom for 6 years.

@@jjosifovicOtto wasn’t terrible but he also wasn’t great bro overplayed his hand twice and lost his job both times for it but he also is the best politician of the greens tbf and in the show at least created aegon in the eyes of the public and is responsible for most of his alliances but he just hitched himself to the wrong wagon at the end of the day cause the rest of the greens are retarded
