From what I see gunz2 actually has more melee combat involved than in gunz1(unless you are in close quarters in gunz1, people just seem to move side to side and shoot), and if you are in gunz2 in a ranged no melee battle in long ranges atleast the weapons are more interesting xd
I haven't played the gunz 1...but if gunz 2 was very good, the gunz 1 must be even better because they often talk about it how fast the pace was....:-)
it's a shame they let gunz to die, they only needed to release gunz 1 on steam, and with workshop it could get more than enough players to keep it alive

and because there will be a point that the only way to play Gunz 2 was to learn the K-style...it could be very difficult for newcomers to join because they will be obliterated by that technique...but damn how good the K style looks!

Gunz2 is way more balanced in that regard, although not as fun for high skilled players like gunz1
They should've keep all the mechanics we have on the OG and just focus on visual advancements like skins and effects.. This takes away so much of the technicalities from the game we all came to love..

sniping is cool!...because getting hit by a sniper even if your character is nimble is pretty embarrassing...XD....but it does have other five characters to choose from and snipers had a hard time hitting them....:-)
apparently animation cancels are a thing here too.It's kind of hard to do it too but once you knew it....damn....you're gonna be really good because its hard to defeat an melee with animation cancels with it. Most skilled players are adept at using them....

OG Gunz mechanics were fun because it is skill based.. Besides.. KStyle is easy to learn. It takes time but its rewarding. It's fun to play challenging opponents and OG Gunz serves it. Unless its a hacker.
the gunz 2 remake graphics are cool but the mechanics and the gameplay is trash.. not competitive at all. i would prefer the original gunz which ur skills will put to the test

Some weapons (e.g. Ignis Wraith) and skills (e.g. Excal spike) can be OP while others barely scratch you. Titanfall is pretty fast paced compared to other similar shooters but wall bouncing looks like it would make you an easy target coz it feels like you are floating too long
