I think Okubo did all of this just to explain how the Soul Eater universe came to be and why things work the way they do in it. I actually quite enjoy the concept of making an entirely new and even higher IQ power system than the already complex one he had before just to explain how the first one works. Beyond that, deciding to make it a prequel gave him the freedom to make something unique from his original work, but still connect it as the surprise plot twist at the end. Okubo is a mad genius and I love him.

The interesting thing is how Shinra's appearance is quasi-Satanic, while Haumea's appearance is angelic. Very subversive if you think about it. And yeah, those are some ridiculous power levels.
Absolutely, I love the devil/angel dynamic they portray throughout the series and especially at the end. It’s a unique approach to the standard trope!
Seems to be a pretty common trope in amine/manga. Persona 5 does something similar and there are a few other examples I can't remember off the top of my head.

Shinra's insane power makes sense as well since he embodies so many powerful concepts. There's the two obvious ones: Devil and Hero, but also Saviour, Hope and even God. Shinra even shows in a later chapter that he can casually destroy concepts when he convinces Haumea to no longer despair and then one shots the concept of Despair.

This is actually a really cool and interesting concept. Using the power of another domain, humanities way of perceiving things, and imagination Shinra has grown to have power an extremely high degree. I didn't really watch Fire Force like that, but then I came across this and I'm actually pretty intrigued in this series now. I'll be sure to add it to the manga I should read one day.
Yeah the beginning of the series doesn’t really portray the depth that the story has further on until around like chapters 100-160. It’s such a wild bunch of concepts that Ohkubo has implemented in this story and it’s honestly extremely brilliant!

I think they are talking about two ideas , one is as you know the collective unconsciousness and the world of forms . The collective unconsciousness is eternal ideas/concepts like life and death and more . Then there is Plato's theory of world of forms where within this reality there lies the true form of specific conceptions and ideas , but I personally think that these two ideas are the same. because they both state that there are some concepts that trans end time and space but they also have true forms in a higher plane of reality .
I had literally no idea that shinra's scaling was but thank to this video I can now say that he for one solos, DBS and 2 is on featherine and hajun level.

Nah nah I don’t think destroying doppelgängers equates to outer. I just included doppelgängers to point out that characters who are able to destroy them have conceptual properties towards their AP but I don’t scale that specifically to outer. The reason they’re walking concepts is because they’re stated to be manifestations of human perceptions about a person that arrive in Adolla the same way other concepts like Truth, Mathematics and others do. They’re just the conceptualized beliefs of a person given and abstract form. But yeah anyways, I consider Adolla itself containing all concepts including impressive ones like space and time which should place Adolla within the tier as well as anybody who scales to it. If that makes sense? Also destroy or creating platonic concepts can qualify for it but being outerversal isn’t contingent on Plato’s theory.

I'm personally more solid about the vsb tiering system than character wiki (even though vsb is overall inconsistent as fuck) cuz if being beyond the concepts of "space and time" were the requirements to be Outerversal, then too many characters would have that tier, not saying there's not already an absurd amount of Outerversal characters, this would just give too many other characters that barely scratch it Outerversal, otherwise great POV on shinra bansho, I would probably be able to get him to high complex multiversal or hyperversal at best do to him being above concepts (even if above abstract concepts, it can be argued they are only abstract due to human imagination and therefore are still mental in existence and not abstract) but low-key pretty nice👍

The character stats definition sort of gives a "next level" feel to baseline outerversal in comparison to low outer, rather than vs wiki's definition. Even with vs wiki's definition of outer, you can exceed low outer the same way low outer exceeds high 1b, but logically that doesn't mean they're above the concept of space. So characters stats definition of outer seems like a bigger deal imo.

Kanji in japanese is difficult to translate such as eternity and infinite being used the same in japanese so it's not an exact translation but I would like to see your explanation on this
@@Paragonscales none of this matters dude. Also if you were to assert that mathematics are treated differently in fire force than real life you’d have to substantiate an interpretation of equal value to mine in order for it to work, otherwise it can just be dismissed via Occam’s Razor.

My problem would come from what Adolla is. If Adolla is a higher plane of existence that holds all of human ideations, then Adolla is directly limited to human ideas. Adolla cannot manifest something above what humans can think of. Even so, if a human has an idea of what Adolla is, does Adolla now hold the idea of Adolla? Can Adolla now manifest Adolla? This explanation leads to a self reference paradox. Plus, do we really have an idea of what infinity is? What space-time is?
They can use Adolla to recreate the world, but limited to what human Ideations can manifest, reality cannot be warped beyond human imagination. That's my take away from this video however, and not the manga. So this opinion may change.

Honestly, I wish we got to see a fight where beniamura actually struggled and gave it his 100%. But I honestly feel like the creator basically made him into a crazy strong gag character for the world and didnt want to show him struggle in any of his fights. I'm sure before the God boost shinra had, beni was still stronger but not as strong as homura. Top 5 would probably be God Shinra>Homura>Beni>Arthur after Dragon fight>Shinra.

I am going to be honest I am not much a fan scaling conceptual manipulation to outerversal. To me it depends the type and level we are talking about here because if we say a vague concept outerversal on the get go we risk on highballing something to a mess like the Masadaverse or saying; "This Oc blitz the Living Tribunal because he can completely manipulate and alter the very concepts of multiversal laws and higher dimensions."
That is a trap that led to the Fate Stay Night Nasuverse series being scaled to high outerversal with ridiculous highballs by those like Bleach Hub.
Apologies but I would rather play it safe with caution then coming to an immediate conclusion. Alot of outerversal highballs have been coming up this past year especially on Marvel and DC characters based on vague concept statements so I rather urge caution.
Until more context comes out I am not going to be saying this is outerversal yet with my limited knowledge. Is it powerful? Perhaps but outerversal... I rather not risk making another huge error in judgment and promote it.
Oh no I wasn’t scaling the fact that Shinra has concept manip to Outerversal. I was mostly just elaborating on the fact that Adolla (or Hell) should be transcendent of these impressive concepts that constitute Outerversal scaling for the realm, then I explain why The Evangelist is Adolla given form, and then I go on to say that Shinra blatantly scales above The Evangelist which should warrant relative scaling. The conceptual manipulation points I bring up are just to add support since we know he’s using existing concepts to “create a new Hell” which would mean he is recreating Adolla with his own imagination. If that makes sense? Sorry I could’ve explained it better in the video 😅

I'm going to wait until furter analysis. Because outerversal is a term often abused alot with arguments and paradigms which are quite questionable at best to ridiculous at worst. Outerversal is a term that should be handled with the at most caution during powerscaling.

Then beerus says to Goku, I'mma go hakai that kid just for fun then proceeds to make his presence known to the fire force verse.

Just at that moment Goku stops beerus and says, "let me spar with him first" then beerus says whatever.
Shinra underestimating Goku says, "Your not a God so move", I only have business with my kind ( referring to beerus ofcoz) immediately, Goku turns into super Saiyan God (red hair).
Shinra's like "HOLD UP, WAIT A MINUTE".
5 minutes later, OOZARU (Goku's Ape Form) eats shinra for breakfast and the fire force verse beg for their lives.

Basically Adolla is a priori judgment of the collective unconscious. Shinra is able to manipulate those very ideas. The only being capable of affecting a priori knowledge is an omnipotent being. Thus Shinra is omnipotent and omniversal.

Being above the concepts of space and time ≠ being above space and time. Spatial and temporal dimensions are just aspects of the concepts that dictate them. Being transcendent of said spatiality and temporality *conceptually* would warrant that scaling.
