I went to a Korean festival last year. I tried 떡볶이 and 만두 for the first time. I’ve been obsessed with Korean food ever since. Once at H-mart, I greeted the 할머니 at the checkout register. She was so happy to see a black girl speaking to her in Korean. I’m not fluent, but I enjoy learning different languages so I can connect with different people and cultures.
That’s exactly how people who react in Korea also! I have seen some videos of expats living in Korea about seeing signs that says ‘no foreigners’ on clubs and bars (which makes me mad) but tbh it’s not common and it’s only in those pretentious establishments like clubs and bars that do that. Normal restaurants and merchants would greet foreigners with open arms when You say 안녕하세요..!

Hey Dan, I saw you on my favorite channel, Peaches, I loved your energy soo much so decided to follow you on your channel... Keep up the good work ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
I am so glad I discovered you site. When the pandemic started I found Kdrama and progressed to Kpop. I live in a senior community and while my friends were suffering from isolation, I was immersed in Korean culture. I feel I came through this period unscathed and I owe it all to the Korean culture. You web site has offered an even more informative look at Korea, thank you.

I’m sorry, I was referring to BTS and their music. I mixed up web sites. Danny has made understanding the Korean culture easier. I was in Busan with my late husband and he was astounded. He was there during the war, so he wasn’t expecting much. He was pleasantly surprised.
I love learning about korea as I hope to go there someday with my boyfriend as I've always wanted to visit a few places there including Seoul, Busan and Daegue
Even though I'm in my 60's I'm a young minded person. I started watching Kpop & Kdramas maybe 6 years ago, as well as Korean TV programs with English subtitles, and I love them. I've learnt a lot about Korean culture by watching all these types of things and listening to people on Korean talk shows and also following a Korean/Canadian couple who are married & live in Seoul and post about their every day life. I find the Korean culture very interesting, and I've had Korean homestay students when I rented out my bedrooms in Vancouver. I want to come to Seoul for a visit hopefully next year if the quarantine period is no longer required of course, so I'm interested in learning what would be helpful for me to travel there. I found your channel today and have watched a couple of your info videos and find them insightful & helpful, so thanks for making them.

Always love that you choose interesting topics to post about, Danny--well, that PLUS we actually LEARN a lot from you. Because of this, you never fail to catch my attention, but then there's the added bonus of expanding my mind (and therefore my world) everyday. As the daughter of a "teacher's tracher" may I say THANK YOU for helping create the new and improved versions of all of us!
It's same in India. We stay with our parents in our 20s here too. Though the American influence has started to reach here and nowadays, some people in their 20s have started to look for their own place. But still staying with your parents is more common here.
this is really interesting.. I fell in love with Korean culture a while back and even started learning the language. I think its really fun you share this because in some ways, every culture has points we can all relate with. As always, I enjoyed watching. :)
I think food is the first love of every korean person. 😄 ❤️ The fact about the trends really amazes, that how quickly something trends and everybody follows it, either it's food, clothing, hairstyle or something else. The fact about living with parents before marriage is absolutely normal. You maybe surprised to know that here in India, even after marriage, living with your parents or In-laws is quite normal. A human is same everywhere in the world. They all cry and smile and love. It's just their culture and beliefs that makes them different from another. And then it's u who decides either to be a good person or a bad one. Again got to know some interesting and fun facts about your beautiful country. Will be waiting for the part-2 😁. Thank you so much for sharing. Have a good night and a lovely day tomorrow. Take care 💜 (I was talking about humans like I'm an alien. 😅 I'm not good at writing. So please don't mind if something is out of context or just doesn't make sense. Thank u.😊)
haha we tend to write and talk about ‘human’ like you did sometimes :) I’m pretty sure we share a lot of similarities in our cultures since we are both asian countries! always nice to spot the similarities and differences:)
I've been in love with Korea since I got to know about cultural similarities. 😍 Living with parents, or greeting elders with bowing down towards them or spicy food. I was amazed, how beautiful the country is and the value of it. After knowing about Korea I started finding more and more, and the more I learn about Korea the more I fall in love. History of Hungul is also very interesting. ❤️ Thank you for sharing. And keep telling us , do's and don'ts 😁 So that when we visit we don't make mistakes. Take care and have a good time 💜 사랑해
I love learning about Korean culture, especially from your insight! I especially love how your country values others appreciating Korean culture. I think its beautiful to experience new cultures and feel accepted as though you are not a foreigner, but are encouraged. I feel that culture is meant to be shared, because it is an amazing way to learn about a society and how its people view the world around them. Thanks for making these videos, they are super interesting! 감사 해요 :)
I love to learn all I can about Korea! Still planning a vacation there as soon as the borders open up a little more. Hoping for June 2023. First thing is Korean barbecue and soju! I love to eat! I appreciate different cultures and really want to honor and experience them!
Hi Dan! Really enjoy your contents! They are interesting and some are relatable and I always learn something. Love how genuine you are. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Keep it up! :)
This was really interesting, thank you :) I love learning about other cultures, but often it's hard to learn about the really small (and usually more interesting) details. Great to have insights like this :)
I found you by chance but I love your channel and watch it often. I am older (what you would call a Granny (personally hate that term) but I enjoy your view of the world a lot. Keep up the good work!
I love everything about Korea. Their language, culture, food, drama, fashion, music e.t.c everything about Korea is so loving for me. Thanks DANNY for the video love them all❤️❤️❤️💜💜💜
Dan, thanks for sharing your culture with us. Please, if you can, have a topic regarding starting an online business in Korea, mainly targeting both Koreans and foreign markets. Mostly in fashion and beauty products from Korea to Europe(UK). E.g. requirements, shipping, cons, and benefits. I would greatly appreciate 🙏🏽
TBH i find Korean culture more similar to Pakistani culture than western. It's like a sort of recognition. The language reads in the same direction. Dramas are more popular than films in the country. There's family culture, and moms(not entirely similar, but parents definitely have a huge presence in the life of their kids.) It's normal to live with your in-laws. A lot of Pakistani people are the similarly appreciative about foreigners adopting our culture. It stands out in my memory if i see a foreign celebrity etc. wearing something that's Pakistani. Like Princess Diana wearing Shalwar Kameez through her visit to Pakistan. It's fondly remembered even now.
Hopefully i could meet you. I just arrived in SK last week. Living at Incheon. I came as an exchange student. It’s so hard to find koreans who could speak English
Expect to visit this June 2022. Practicing on the hangeul and some basics so I can at least be able to walk around and interact with the locals more comfortably.
I am glad i found your channel. I enjoy your videos. I will be visiting korea in October hoping to see more of your nice tourist spots and Busan Expo with BTS. I was there in 2017 and I hope it is easier to tour around even without an English tour guide. ☺️
Hello I'm happy to see you again i personally really like Korean culture and Korean people thanks for giving a wonderful video to know about Korean people and lots of love 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Very interesting video! I am from Greece and it is also quite common for Greeks in their 20s or even 30s to still live with their parents, mostly due to financial difficulties. I live on my own since the age of 18, when I entered the university, ten years ago. I must say, that survival is very hard here, without any support of the family. Especially for me, as a disabled person, things are even harder. Thank you very much for sharing about your culture! ☺️
@@ThizisDanny Indepence is very important to me, so I totally get your point. I would like to ask, what is the Korean’s perception about disability. Are there any stereotypes about disabled people? Here, in Greece it’s really rare to find disabled people live independently and we face a lot of marginalization, so I was really curious about Korean culture in that aspect too. Thank you your time. 😊
I am new to your channel, and im loving it. I have watched many of your videos and im finding them really interesting. Iam from Greece and must say that koreas and Greeks have many similarities.
My comment might be awkward after all the wonderful ones about your culture, but I feel I have to get it out there. Your voice is very, very soothing! (it's not the spicy food, I've watched other videos as well) I could listen to you forever. Nice work. Keep it up. ✌️
I love Korean language and learned alot of words as I watched uncountable K dramas during the entire lock down.i find your language very sweet to hear.
This is my first video of yours I've seen, only found your channel yesterday, gotta say you have a super soothing voice!! Loved the vid btw, all really interesting facts, and cool to know some of them when I plan to travel later this year :). It blows my mind that you can leave belongings without fear of them being stolen, so cool. I'm currently learning Korean and it made me really happy that I recognised some of the text on the video too :)
We always eat while drinking, we always said that will go on the diet, women cut the hair and make it curly, we are proud of our country even that the politics broke us, we live with our parents until marriage, we follow the trend, we love to try new foods and we even love to eat Korean ramen. Those are similarities for the things that you mentioned in your video but I’m sure that are more
I’m so happy I discovered you, I’m new to this channel and already watched most of your videos lol , It’s so nice too learn more about the Korean culture I’m planing on visiting eventually in the next couple of years .
Hello Danny, this video was fascinating,I love learning about cultures and languages, so your video was right on the spot for us foreigners ☺️it’s so appreciative so we can be more open and honest towards each other, more importantly, to understand and love one another despite cultural uniqueness. Thanks for your cultural lesson, Enjoy your 🍱😋😚✌️💜
Hi Danny. Great content as usual. I think I speak for most of us when you feel like family from all over world. Sometimes its just observations in life we’d just talk about over coffee 🙂. Thank you for addressing that it’s ok and appreciated for a foreigner to take part in some of the Korean manners and conversations. I was felling I would wonder if they were thinking I’d be mocking etc. Like example: when I ask you if your healthy and have you eaten…it’s in all sincerity and Ive learned it’s importance etc. 🥰👌. Yes Ramen can be such comfort food lol. Take care God Bless.
Would really love to see part 2!! Your video made my day🌻I am really looking forward on my journey to corea, hope it works in the next two years and in the meantime I have to keep an eye out for a Korean restaurant in Vienna, because in the countryside from Austria there is none 😢...and the tteokbokki looks so delicious... I don't know if someone say it before, but thank you for your thoughtfulness for people who don't hear you. I think the most common food in Austria is Schnitzel and Palatschinken and In my opinion the most of the young people want to leave their familiy in the middle twenties. oh... and i think how you looks isn't such a big topic like in corea, but thats my own feeling and i am sure other peoples think in another way.
@@sweet_citrus You might be laughing ... I want to visit South Korea because two years ago I saw a travelvlog of a really good cook and in his eyes the corean kitchen is one of the best in the world. And so i'm interessted more an more... I don't know why but Seoul is one of the city I have to see in my life (Barcelona an Rome are the other - and the are also really great!). But there a soo many places which are interessting, that I'm not sure i can see all in the three weeks I've planned😅 but i've another two years for planning...🙃
I asked about women all cutting their hair short just locally, in America, and someone explained that gray hair doesn’t grow the same as the original color hair. Also, straight hair isn’t as flattering against the softening features that come with age. Sometimes I have questions about Korean culture so it’s great that you give us the information. I appreciate the pride you have when you see references to Korea. Thanks for every vlog. Stay well.
that’s true..! they do perms to make their hair have more volume because it’s gets thinner and they have less hair as they age. Also the curls get stronger because it lasts longer and then you don’t have to do it so often
Hi, I first came to Korea 24 years ago and decided now that I have retired to revisit. I have spent the last 2 and a half months travelling all over the country. What can I say except I have met with nothing but kindness even though I speak about 6 words of Korean . I enjoy your You tube content very much and only wish I had spent more time looking after my skin!
Thank you for sharing about how is the life, culture, in Korea. The trends, the foods, etc. Very interesting video. So we can understand how is the life in Korea ,so we can respect and understand the life, culture , traditions, etc in Korea
Cheers Dan for sharing these great facts about Korean Culture. Planning to visit the country in near future. Always good to watch and listen to your lovely voice. Take care mate 🥰
Annyeong! Im planning to visit SK next year and right now I'm doing a research about your country, people and culture. I'm also learning your language. This is my first time that I had watched your video and I can say, it's very helpful. It gives me deep insights on what to expect when I get there. Kamsahamnida and more power to you! 🤗
Hi Dan, Living with the parents until get married is common in Brazil as well. Off course there are young people that live by themselves but living with the parents in the thirties is not an issue here. Thanks for the video.
Nice to see you! I saw you've just eaten 😉 Very nice video. My pantry is stocked with instant noodles and ramen. I eat mine with random veggies but always an egg. Would your restaurant be serving ramen (just playing)? See you in your next video and learning more about Korea and your views.
Video was interesting.....Living with parents are common in our country too...And I think they will be happy about it too....😊Wishing you all the best for the new venture.....🤝
Funny how traditional Korean food is so delicious, yet there are so many trendy flavored foods that come and go in Korea! The tteokbokki you ordered looks soooo good, but it would be hard to eat a messy dish like that and talk, so I'm glad you didn't try to do mukbang. In California, we have wonderful food from all over the world, and right now Korean food is very popular here, especially BBQ, fried chicken, and corn dogs!!
That cheese pull looks amazing!! In Canada anything left laying around can get taken so quickly. It's either well meaning people who will take it to lost and found for you to pick up or will try to find the owners themselves on social media. Or just keep it.
So Happy to find your channel. In the U.S., we do have things in common. California has a festival, every weekend, all over the state. In Gilroy, the Garlic festival: everything in garlic flavor (ice cream, etc). Half Moon Bay: the pumpkin festival: everything pumpkin.(those were my favorites). The "Universal Little Old Lady" hairstyle. Have you ever tried a "Cro-Nut"? It's a croissant made/deep fried like a donut & made out of croissant dough. (My mouth waters at the name!) AND I eat Ramen, too. Espically at the end of the month. Sometimes I put the seasonings with rice, & put the noodles with other things, so 1 pack of Ramen for 2 days. Can't wait to see what else you post. 💖💗💞🙏
Thanks for sharing this Danny...it's fun. I remember one of your Tiktok video has talked about People just leave their belonging in cafe unattended in Korea...well it's quite different from our country, but i've no idea why people take bicycle away without the wheel...I just saw the wheels was stolen, but the "body" leave there.... Oh I like drink ice coffee no matter the weather is cold or hot...do you guy like eating ice-cream in winter? haha I hope to visit Korea again shortly...:(
The bicycle thing was sort of a joke but it happens haha but I think it’s usually done by teenagers …! I rarely see adults riding bikes ( unless it’s those shared ones) I do like ice cream no matter hot or cold!!
Thank you for all the context that really helps me understand a lot of what I'm watching in kdrama and Halleyu. And once I can finally travel to South Korea I can be more respectful but also less sensitive. I would say in America McDonald's is ramen equivalent. Everyone eats McDonald's, no matter how rich or how poor. But will often say things like well I guess we're just eating McDonald's for the week because it's considered an inexpensive food. However, we do have an extra layer where it can also be a bad connotation as well, and I don't think 라면 has that. It was very informative that I'm glad I'm a subscriber to your channel.
라면 could also have a bad connotation actually ..! It can be said like “will you just live eating Ramyun for the rest of your life?” meaning you need to make money but rarely used
item 2, The dieting thing is something that Westerners do as well. There are SO many dieting trends. You see ads everywhere for weight loss programs. Item 3, in parts of the northern US, it's not uncommon for people to eat/drink cold things in winter. I eat ice cream year round. In fact, winter is the best time to buy ice cream because it doesn't melt as fast! Item 4, In the Western world, it's not uncommon for women to cut their hair short when they get older, simply because it's easier to maintain. These are some of the similarities that I see.
1: 35/1) Keep on eating when we are full 2:05/2) Always on a diet (losing weight ) 2:52/3) Always drink iced drinks (americano) 3:19/4) Old Lady's hairstyle 3:50/5) People just leave their belongings unattended 5:11/6) Adults living with their parents 6:08/7) Feel proud when foreigners acknowledge our culture ****7:47**/Beautiful quote: "Lack of knowledge is not an excuse but hope people can try to make those who don't know understand rather than fight with each other."** 7:54/8) Extreme about trends 8:56/9) Weird flavored food and drinks 9:40/10) Everyone eats instant Ramyeon * Ramyun is a common hangover cure food in Korea Hello, lovely Dan! Hope you slept well and ate a balanced breakfast. I am glad to see that you ate a delicious meal in the video since you stated that you were hungry. I hope that you don't mind but I viewed your video a few times. I sort of suck at remembering all of the points even after watching it several times and I sincerely wanted to give some effort to my thoughts to give real input into this international conversation rather than just blowing through bits and pieces. Since I'm off today, I have some time to share with you and your viewers. You took the time to record, edit, and upload wonderful content. Now I will reciprocate and share my response. No worries. I won't do this with all of your videos as normally I don't have the time. 🙃😇 Answers 1) I grew up always hearing the phrase, "There are starving children in this world who'd love to have your food. So clean your plate. Now I struggle to listen to my body when it is full. I've started asking for a to-go container as soon as my meal comes to my table when eating out. This way I automatically take half home to eat for lunch the next day and save money too. 2) We usually say we're on a diet only when we're actively trying to lose weight otherwise we just eat. 3) The variety of beverages here is mind blowing! In fact, I've personally known many people who always ask for "no ice" when ordering their beverages. They say you're watering down the flavor and getting less product for the money you're spending. I actually drink a lot of hot tea so no ice required there. Ha ha ha! 😅 4) There are way too many different hairstyles amongst the older women and you can most definitely tell them all apart. 5) Your belongings would quickly be acquired by the first person who sees their next potential item to be resold for more money in their pocket. They really don't care about CCTVs at all. In fact, the CCTV would be stolen if they had the time and opportunity to get away with it. 6) It's a bit mixed here. Some parents are patient and say it's okay for their adult children to stay with them as long as either they're still going to school for higher education and/or contributing towards the household living expenses and being peaceful. On the other hand, some parents have a goal of either the age of 18 and/or graduate from the 12th grade and you're out of their house! Those parents often times have a saying that goes, "I've raised you and paid my dues. Now it's my turn to live my life for me and you need to figure this life out on your own now." 7) Whew... umm 🤔😶 ok. This one could quickly turn into an opened pandora's box and I am very "non-confrontational". I'm pleased to learn that Koreans consider it to be a compliment when they see foreigners wearing their traditional clothing and/or hear others speaking a bit of their language. I love & applaud Koreans for that. 😍👏👏👏❣ Where I come from it really depends on what's perceived as the motive of "why" someone is wearing our traditional clothing or trying to speak in a way that sounds like "us". If the person obviously shows "respect, understanding, love, and admiration" then it's perfectly okay. That's cool because then it is considered a compliment and does cause us to have a sense of healthy pride. When a person strongly & boldly shows their blatant disgust towards us but still tries to look & sound like us, THEN we take deep offense to it especially when that person/organization profits from what has been normal for us for (sometimes) centuries before our modern era. It's even more of a stab in our faces when they were born into the lap of luxury, have never worked a hard day in their life, and profits from what's normal and has even been seen as part of our struggle for us but won't use us in their marketing & advertisements for their products. That one hurts and stings on so many deeper levels that millions around the world have already spoken up about that topic. It still happens here and there but unless people have a big bank account they won't be heard by any judicial system, which makes me wonder where's the justice in that? Okie dokie. Aaaaaand that pandora's box is being closed right about here. 📦 End. 😇 8) That might be just about anywhere. There was a trend for unisex mullet hairstyles during the 80s punk rock era and a certain big hair look was the thing during the reign of the TV show "Married with Children". In today's times there's some sort of chicken sandwich from a place called Popeye's that people were literally getting into fist fights over and then there are the overnight lines outside of the Apple stores when they release their latest iPhone 200 (just making up a number since I don't know what they're on anymore... ha ha ha 😅) because you're not cool unless you've got the latest model. 🙄 9) Same. Oreo cookie brands have so many flavors to the point where nothing surprises me anymore. I just heard of deep fried pickle slices a few years ago. 🤢 No thanks. And if Dr. Pepper wasn't already bubbly sweet syrup to begin with I recently saw Cherry Dr. Pepper. That's a polite pass for me. 😶 10) I think it's safe to say that most people here ate Ramyeon (spelled Ramen here) at least once in their lifetime. I personally do not eat it anymore because of eating it too much when I was poor with no other affordable choice. Now I actually prefer Udon noodles prepared with many wonderful meat/veggie/spice/sauce combinations now. * Many people here just drink water, some super duper strong coffee, or the non-alcoholic ingredients of a drink called a Bloody Mary to quickly cure a hangover. Also, drinking noncarbonated sports drinks to replenish the electrolytes, taking a pain reliever but not Tylenol (If alcohol is lingering in your system, it may accentuate acetaminophen's toxic effects on the liver.), and eating a really good meal that has some antioxidants in it (See list of foods that are naturally antioxidant that may work for you). Thank you, Danny, for being the beautifully transparent soul and awesome content creator that you are. I have come to love and adore you like a brother from another mother. Ha ha ha! 😅😉 Always wishing you excellent health, increased success, and incredible joy! Sending warm virtual hugs. 🤗💕🤗 Please take care and see you in the next video. Have a beautiful day! ☀🌺👋

The fact about the trends really amazes, that how quickly something trends and everybody follows it, either it's food, clothing, hairstyle or something else.
Take care 💜
(I was talking about humans like I'm an alien.
@@ThizisDanny i dont know a lot about india but i know they like rice to 😂😂 and yeah both are Asian countrys
Thanks for sharing
The basic old lady hairstyle is very common here in Hungary too, and it is short too, with bangs.
Thank you for sharing.
Korean bbq is good and every place has a slightly different vibe and side dishes so it’s good!!

*Loved this video. I can't wait to visit South Korea. I saw some videos online during Christmas time and it was sooo beautiful.*
I hope it wasnt Oli londons videos just 😂😂
This was really interesting, thank you :) I love learning about other cultures, but often it's hard to learn about the really small (and usually more interesting) details. Great to have insights like this :)
Oh right it was such an eye for detail! hmm like on a level of an author describing a scene in a book almost.. 🤣 you’re right!
It’s nice and fun to learn about those little things :) That’s why the best way to learn about a country is to interact with the locals :)
YES
Hi ! Try fasting in ramadan ! Real excuse 4 a diet and spiritually soo fulfiling and makes u really apreciate ur blessings !
I can't wait to visit South Korea....thank you for your advice and being intuitive with your facts about living in Korea
Thanks DANNY for the video love them all❤️❤️❤️💜💜💜
you’re welcome:)
Everything in Korea arent that well to...
It's fondly remembered even now.
yeah,I do think as well...!
I Love korean culture so much so thank you so much to sharing your video I always support you 🇰🇷💜🇮🇳
thank you :) I love Indian food also!!
Thanks to you for loving Indian food what is your fav Indian food????🙂💜

Hello I'm happy to see you again i personally really like Korean culture and Korean people thanks for giving a wonderful video to know about Korean people and lots of love 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Thank you :) hope my videos help you understand out culture more
Thank you Dan for teaching me about what I know nothing about. Korea. I look forward to visiting Korea. You have your customs. We have ours.
I actually lived alone since I was a teenager for school and yeah it can be quite tough but I did learn to be more independent:)
Thx for the info! You are so adorable! Reman is very popular here in America.
I really like how you open up your mind and sharing this fact culture 👍👍carrry on and more to share because we love to hear fact culture❤️❤️
thank you! I will try my best :)
Looking forward to more videos.
Oh nice to hear that! Idk how it sounds to a foreigner but it’s good to know :)
Korean culture is so interesting and also you helped us alot💜
Amazing video thanks for the interesting about Korea ❤️

This is my first video of yours I've seen, only found your channel yesterday, gotta say you have a super soothing voice!! Loved the vid btw, all really interesting facts, and cool to know some of them when I plan to travel later this year :). It blows my mind that you can leave belongings without fear of them being stolen, so cool. I'm currently learning Korean and it made me really happy that I recognised some of the text on the video too :)
Welcome to my channel and great to have you on board!!!! hopefully you will enjoy my other contents as well :)

The reason I want to visit Korea is the food 🥺😍
This is a legit reason to go😂😂
Thank you for sharing 😊. There are so many similarities between Korea and Romania I’m amazed
thank you for watching! what were the similarities?
We always eat while drinking, we always said that will go on the diet, women cut the hair and make it curly, we are proud of our country even that the politics broke us, we live with our parents until marriage, we follow the trend, we love to try new foods and we even love to eat Korean ramen. Those are similarities for the things that you mentioned in your video but I’m sure that are more
I’m so happy I discovered you, I’m new to this channel and already watched most of your videos lol , It’s so nice too learn more about the Korean culture I’m planing on visiting eventually in the next couple of years .
Enjoyed your video.... keep it up....
cool video Thiz is Dan. I smashed the thumbs up on your video. Always keep up the brilliant work.
Hello Danny, this video was fascinating,I love learning about cultures and languages, so your video was right on the spot for us foreigners ☺️it’s so appreciative so we can be more open and honest towards each other, more importantly, to understand and love one another despite cultural uniqueness. Thanks for your cultural lesson, Enjoy your 🍱😋😚✌️💜
I need a video how to start a business on korea and about a job cause I studying for that hope you upload soon😄
Tteokbokki is super delicious to 😍😍 you should try it
Just make sure to not travel to Korea just beccause of kpop and that things
@@sweet_citrus You might be laughing ... I want to visit South Korea because two years ago I saw a travelvlog of a really good cook and in his eyes the corean kitchen is one of the best in the world. And so i'm interessted more an more... I don't know why but Seoul is one of the city I have to see in my life (Barcelona an Rome are the other - and the are also really great!). But there a soo many places which are interessting, that I'm not sure i can see all in the three weeks I've planned😅 but i've another two years for planning...🙃

Love you’re content Dan very interesting, we are planning to visit Korea. Stay safe and take care
Hope you plan it well!! :)
Thanks for the video.
Thanks Sharing Danny..

Hi Dan,
Living with the parents until get married is common in Brazil as well. Off course there are young people that live by themselves but living with the parents in the thirties is not an issue here. Thanks for the video.
Oh interesting to know !! thank you also ;)

Omg Dan that food looked soooo freaking good!!
6.41 - it's normal to get angry at people who disrespect the culture, whether it's Chinese, Japanese, Indian etc... From India 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳.
Nice to see you! I saw you've just eaten 😉
Very nice video. My pantry is stocked with instant noodles and ramen. I eat mine with random veggies but always an egg. Would your restaurant be serving ramen (just playing)?
See you in your next video and learning more about Korea and your views.
You are so very attractive☺️🥰Anyway thanks for sharing the information with us ,it was very informative. Keep it up and Godbless u always 😇😇
I like your content. It's pertinent. And yes, I only eat spicy Korean home cooked food. And it's the best diet. And very healthy.
I love Korean food. A Korean opened a Korean food in Taiwan and it was delicious.😋
Video was interesting.....Living with parents are common in our country too...And I think they will be happy about it too....😊Wishing you all the best for the new venture.....🤝
thank you so much :)
Hello! i discovered your channel today and i love the content. Thank you!
That cheese pull looks amazing!! In Canada anything left laying around can get taken so quickly. It's either well meaning people who will take it to lost and found for you to pick up or will try to find the owners themselves on social media. Or just keep it.
Usually it doesn’t get stolen but I have witness a few cases where teenagers do to sell them ..! I mean it does happen but not as often
Thank you for this intresting vid.
Greetings from Germany.
Guten tag!
Guten Tag, unfortunately I don't speak korean.
Oh I like drink ice coffee no matter the weather is cold or hot...do you guy like eating ice-cream in winter? haha
I hope to visit Korea again shortly...:(
The bicycle thing was sort of a joke but it happens haha but I think it’s usually done by teenagers …! I rarely see adults riding bikes ( unless it’s those shared ones)
I do like ice cream no matter hot or cold!!
Thank you Dan 🙏👋👋👋
you’re welcome:)
It can be said like “will you just live eating Ramyun for the rest of your life?” meaning you need to make money but rarely used
I have just discoverd your site. You are so interesting.
item 2, The dieting thing is something that Westerners do as well.
1: 35/1) Keep on eating when we are full
2:05/2) Always on a diet (losing weight )
2:52/3) Always drink iced drinks (americano)
3:19/4) Old Lady's hairstyle
3:50/5) People just leave their belongings unattended
5:11/6) Adults living with their parents
6:08/7) Feel proud when foreigners acknowledge our culture
****7:47**/Beautiful quote: "Lack of knowledge is not an excuse but hope people can try to make those who don't know understand rather than fight with each other."**
7:54/8) Extreme about trends
8:56/9) Weird flavored food and drinks
9:40/10) Everyone eats instant Ramyeon
* Ramyun is a common hangover cure food in Korea
Hello, lovely Dan! 🙃😇
Answers
1) I grew up always hearing the phrase, "There are starving children in this world who'd love to have your food.
Ha ha ha! 😅
4) There are way too many different hairstyles amongst the older women and you can most definitely tell them all apart.
Now it's my turn to live my life for me and you need to figure this life out on your own now."
7) Whew...
Where I come from it really depends on what's perceived as the motive of "why" someone is wearing our traditional clothing or trying to speak in a way that sounds like "us". 📦 End. 😇
8) That might be just about anywhere. 🙄
9) Same. 😶
10) I think it's safe to say that most people here ate Ramyeon (spelled Ramen here) at least once in their lifetime.
