      Hi Antonio,
I got 8/10 which I consider to be great since I am only a 17 year old.
Missed out on the first two points but I am gonna work on it.
My favourite points out of these one are buy classics over trends and I follow it whenever i go out shopping for myself.
If I am fortunate enough to be selected for the gifts you are giving out,I would like to receive a gift box with black, light brown and grey leather straps with classic in black and classic in silver buckles with 1.25 inches in width.
It would be wonderful to win since these belts would bring a lot of versatility and interchangeability into my still growing wardrobe.
But as always KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK,ANTONIO.
      KEEP THESE VIDEOS COMING.

I liked the black and cognac leather. For the buckles I liked the traditional in silver, traditional in gold and classic in formal gunmetal.

      8/10...I'm working on getting a 10/10, though.
The classic Black Leather and the Cordovan Leather belts would look rather sharp with the Classic Silver, Classic Matte Gold, and Classic Gunmetal, I think. (Thanks for introducing me to that company; they have an intriguing product!)

This video perfectly captures why you are my go-to men's style guy on UA-cam. You encourage us to think of style as a Tool for Living. Miles ahead of the average men's style channel that only talks about what this season's fashion picks are. You offer us the foundation, the 'why' to do this or that fashion move, not just the 'what.' So grateful for your efforts!

  • @Retired_Gentleman

10 out of 10. Being sixty I've long learned these are the basics for style rules. Of all these rules I've learned how much more important style is over fashion. When a younger man I was more fashionably dressed. Today I'd say I'm more stylish. I found it too expensive to keep up with fast changing fashion trends.
A simple rule of thumb to learn to tell the difference between fashion and style is look online at a 40 year old Sears catalogue. You will readily see some items you could more or less wear today and many, many that are nightmares! Learn to apply the same eye to today and one can quickly and almost perfectly see the difference. Style is classic and within reason nearly timeless. Fashion often tends to look very silly in a few years or even a few months. White knee socks anybody? How about a powder blue leisure suit? Surely you'd wear the platform shoes?

Antonio, Ever since I have watched Real Men Real style. It has taught me a lot. It also has showed me how I can be a better man and what it is like to have respect for others and myself. Every morning I wake up just about every suit I put on or casual clothes I wear I look great and I always feel confident. I don't know if you'll read this but either way. Thank You for what you do! Yes a perfect score on every item, however this did not happen overnight it’s taken years of trial and error to get to the point you feel, look and project the image you want. As for Anson belts, they are the only belts I wear and have been give them away as gift for years, the adjustability is what I enjoy as well as the awesome selection of colour options available. Thanks for reaffirming my own style rules are spot on.

Thanks again Antonio for another great video. I'v learned, being a bigger guy, 6'1" and 260# fit is critical. It can be disheartening when shopping. I learned a long time ago, that I can't buy a suit, or jacket off the rack. If it fits my chest and shoulders, it doesnt fit any other part of me. If i get good sleeve length and fit thru my mid section, the shoulders are too narrow. I know they're gentle men that watch your channel and feel like I felt for years. Fit, fit, fit, get a good fit, and the rest will come easily. The easiest path for me, is #1 fit, #2 function, #3 form (style). I've found that by following those steps in that order, spending money on my wardrobe staples less gut wrenching when I see the price.

In the last year since I started to watch your channel and the others mentioned I have started to take those lessons and invest more in myself and not just style but controlling the message I put out there. This helped me to get the courage to go out and ask for that pay increase and ultimately a new better job.
Anson belts look great hopefully they have them in a size that fits I'm a 42 waist. I like the 1.25 cordovan, cognac and black belts. I really like the traditional buckles, both the formal and regular gunmetal. Keep up the good work Antonio.

7/10 Let's go!!! One day I'll get to 10/10. Greta video as always.
If I do get selected, here's what I'd pick:
Buckles: 1.25" traditional silver buckle, 1.25" classic formal gunmetal buckle
Strap: 1.25" black leather, 1.25" dark brown, 1.25" chocolate vegetable tanned leather.

Shoppinh with a list is the best advice there. Good for life too: Make a plan, stick to it. That and NEVER STOP LEARNING.
Anson belts look great. For me it would be classic and onyx in silver. All my watches/jewelry is silver.
Black, cognac and grey canvas would get everything covered in my opinion.

I've been following this channel for so long that I already knew all the rules. Still, it's great to be reminded of them, and have them all organized together in a single video.
Thank you Antonio, for helping me change my style, and thus my life, by being someone I can look up to and use as a role model.
Edit: Oh yeah, for the belt I'd go for a traditional silver buckle and a strap in cognac leather. All 1.5", since I usually go for business casual.

At 22 I have not finish developing my taste yet. I was very much into just throwing on a band T-shirt and jeans and benign on my way. But I as grew into build myself confidence and self esteem up more and more I realize that old school gentleman fashion is what I like. I like to to keep things simple as well with blues, blacks, browns, grays and whites. Occasionally throwing in some pink and purple. I would like to continue to expand my wardrobe but I do only like get great quality think and at this time I am not financially secure to finish, but ever now and then I add one or 2 items. I enjoy watch videos to learn about new items that I could keep and eye for and add on to my list. I’ll have save up and invest in these belts I do like the chocolate vegetable strap with onyx smoke buckle.

Just made it! 7/10 (or 8/10 with the bonus tip). My big pitfalls are that I haven't decided on my message, that I'm not experienced with spotting quality (your videos have helped), and I haven't spent much on education... Granted in my situation, of course I'm up to speed on all the thriftiest style rules.
Super interested in Anson Belt and Buckle!
I'm eyeing the Saddle tan casual leather strap, and the beige microsuede strap (these aren't met by my current belts), and my favorite buckle has gotta be the nickel free traditional buckle-- all in 1.25" widths.

Knowing your measurements before going into the store is brilliant! 8/10!!
For a while now I have owned a rose gold with a white face watch from the fifth watches. I love it! Super sleek and classy. It’s my most complimented watch. However, I don’t have a rose gold belt buckle. So I haven’t been able to wear my watch with my suit. It would be great to get 1.25” dark leather, chocolate, and cognac leather straps with rose gold and formal gun metal buckles so I can finally complete my look with my favorite watch!

I’ve been watching for about a month now, and I’m genuinely surprised to say I got 9/10, soon to be 10 once I get a tape measure. I have to say, guys like you and Alex Costa have helped me transition my life from the bland position of not knowing how to present myself at all into the ambitious man I am today. If you decide to choose me for the belt giveaway I’d prefer the saddle tan leather strap with a traditional silver buckle, to go with a certain pair of Florsheims that’ve been particularly hard to find a matching belt for

Thank you Antonio, this video was such a great recap of so many things you’ve taught in other videos. I shouted out loud when I scored my 10/10...!! I’ve taken the time over the last few years to craft a wardrobe that has both current style and classic designs so that I can mix & match s well as sticking with my signature look. I’ve invested in bespoke as well as off the rack, so I wear Hawks & Curtis for my everyday wear, along with TM Lewin and Charles Tyrwhitt, and then I have Brioni, Pal Zilleri and Gieves & Hawkes in my bespoke items. I’ve even applied similar principles to my shoe purchases so that I always have the right shoes to wear. The Anson belt and buckle collection looks awesome. I really like their black & dark brown formal belts with the silver and gold basic buckles. I think a belt should be elegant and understated, after all it’s thereto enhance and create a break in the outfit, rather than make a statement on its own...!! Thanks for all the advice...!!

I have to admit that I got all of them except the measures, because most of my suits are custom made and my classic and casual styles are almost from the same range of brands, after that, I actually have a “uniform” for 3 different occasions like elegant, casual and sport.

I agree. it is easy to fall into the sales trap--thinking you are getting a deal, but when you go to your closet and look at the purchase and find that you veer away from it- then it was only spontaneous buying and I agree you waste money even if it is a sale. BTW ANSON is the best . Besides the fact that I own many and it has multiplied by their combinations, they are the go-to company if I need to send a gift and introduce people to the best belt system

Hi thanks for the inspiration in the video. Although I didn’t have a very good score I’m determined to use your tips to improve my style. These belts also look very nice and if it is possible I would love to get:
    COMPLETE BELTS
    Width: 1-25
    Strap 1: Navy Leather Strap
Buckle 1: Traditional Buckle in Gunmetal
    or a similar one.

Thanks, Antonio for the info on Anson belts which will be my next investment, I've learned tremendously from the blake stitch, Goodyear welt, and belts to using collar plackets which I just purchased and I feel like a million bucks. I went to your website to register for the Anson belts and couldn't find the link.

This is more than likely a no-brainer. But since my mother and I were very poor when I was young, I had to make do with very limited clothing and grew to appreciate what I had. I also learned at a young age to take care of my clothing myself since my mother was always working. Therefore I had to do my own laundry and... here it comes... ironing! Even when I joined the military, I was surprised to find young men who had never done their own laundry and had no clue how to properly use an iron. Just a thought. Oh BTW: Love these videos! Please keep up the excellent work. Take care.

Probably 8/10 for me; I need to learn how to sew! I would love to have the 1.5” Cordovan Leather with a Rose Gold or Gold (Preferably Traditional) Buckle, or a 1.5” Black Leather belt with a Black Classic buckle! I love watching your channel and I appreciate the quality information you offer!

I would say I knew 8 of those 11. I need to get a button sew kit. I notice that my vests and jackets tend to have loose buttons.
My style I've been getting the most compliments on is with browns and golds. It works well with my skin tone and facial hair color. I would go with the gold buckle and the light brown 1.25" or the faux croc strap.

8 of 10. I will definitely implement the other 2 rules. The 1.25" chocolate leather strap with a 1.25" classic silver buckle would be perfect for my wardrobe. especially in combination with my new brown double monks!

I just love the classic belt combination:
Brown leather with a silver buckle.
It works great with my boots too, and actually that's the only item I am sure I will use forever.
Right now I own two belts, both Brown/silver, but both of them are getting those cracks at the holes as you mentioned.
So I really would love a new belt (system).

Love your work! Got 9 out of 10. Working towards that 10.
For the Anson Belts I love:
    1) 1.25" Dark Brown Leather
    2) 1.25" Cognac Leather
    3) 1.25" Picante Vegetable Tanned Leather
    4) 1.25" Cognac Micro-Suede
If you had any of these to give I would be extremely grateful.

I got an 8/10 and two things to work on. One of the most important things I need to start doing is knowing my measurements. As a result of not knowing them, I have a lot of pants that are too large in the waste (plus, losing weight makes them even looser). What's the solution? Obviously I need to get my hands on an Ansen Belt! I'm a simple man with simple needs- a black leather belt (1.5" preferably) and a silver buckle. I wear my current basic holed belt constantly and I need to upgrade to something that'll withstand the wear and love. That versatile belt will work like a charm! Thanks Antonio!
