1st of all, thank you for this review. 2nd. Now that it's been 10 mos or so, has anyone been burned by the knobs and, are you happy with the unit? I'll need to order in about 3 months from now but want to provide the specs to the kitchen designer.
After using the oven at max temperature a few times, I requested the newer knobs and we have not had a problem with those. I have a video here about that: ua-cam.com/video/o7uY18ZfP2I/v-deo.html You should find out if the newer models come with the thicker knobs.
Building new house, have Forno dual fuel to be installed. Question how close is your cabinets to the oven and what Temperature is the sidle of the oven Thxs in advance
Sidle of the oven, I'm not sure what that means. Cabinets are right next to it and they are fine. The manual does have distance requirements that you can find on forno.ca.
Regarding the knobs, we did get them replaced with the ones that were more reinforced for heat and they've worked out well. A few of them are slightly loose which is a little bit annoying but overall they're good.

@@shinebox6451 We continue to really like it. The baking can be a little uneven sometime so you do have to rotate items at times.

So, they aren’t hot. Our body temperature is ~ 98.6° F. So, anything less than that isn’t going to burn us.
