Hi Max, the Or Tor Kor Market is a kind of Market for rich people. My sister like to go to eat there. Durian is very expensive there. I like the middle ripe one. I don't like it to firm or to soft(over ripe). The soft one taste a little bit like alcohol and it's to soft for me. That's why they sell it a little bit cheaper. I like to buy sweets there. My sister love the sour sausage. I have never tried this kind of chive cake before. I like the traditional one. Have you tried the fried chive dumpling there? Mmh, I love it. It's the best one😋😋😍. Don't buy Fruits or vegetable there. It's very expensive. Go to the fresh market in the early Morning (Mahanat, I Hope I wrote it right😅🙈🙈). I have never been at this boat noodle restaurant. Do they have something else than boat noodle (Boat noodle is with pig blood and i don't like pig blood and beef). How much cost a Bowl? How many of this Mini portions did you have?😂😂😂🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜. This is not the best boat noodle you ever had? Ah, did you tried the Lod Chong (Cendol)? It is sell in a plastic bag. It is the best one. I only buy this brand.sorry for my english😅🙈😂
Yes the market is very expensive, but the produce and seafood is beautiful so I went to "window shop" or just look around. The chive cake is just like the dumpling but in different form! I have had them both! The boat noodles were okay 12/14 baht per bowl. I found a boat noodle I like much more. And yes I have had, but not on this day!
Normally the big boat noodle shops only sell boat noodle either pork or beef. Just some small local boat noodle shops that sell the clear broth pork noodle or fishball noodle too but may be hard for the tourist to find them. Bangkok has many kinds of tasty noodle you may check it out.
Ohhhh, there should be so much more on your list! Send me a message and I can send you a yummier boat noodle place. However, it is not on the water like this location!

We can still see you're drenched in sweat. Haha. Seriously though, you shouldn't let a little (or a lot) sweat bother you. You are in South East Asia, the weather will do that to you. Of course, being the chilli pepper muncher that you are, you're guaranteed to perspire more. 🙂 What people like about you is that you aren't fussy: you don't mind sitting on the curb while eating; you don't let a little murky water smell ruin your appetite; you somehow manage to eat like locals do. Hi Max McFarlin...Awesome... The food you eat is food that Thai people especially like. But I don't think Westerners will agree to eat it easily. They are too scared and worried. But if you believe in the taste of Thai such as Pad Thai, Tom Yum Kung, You should try. and you will know that there are many delicious Thai foods aside from the top menu.

You should try provinces in South Thai too like Surat Thani, Nakorn Si Thummarat, Krabi or Phuket. I love to travel in Thai alone since i've got no travel buddies. But i already speak Thai, haha. Enjoy your trip and good luck from Malaysia, Thailand's southern neighbor 👍🏻🇲🇾

That leafy curry is called “kang khee lek” , made from young leaves and flowers of Cassia tree. It is slightly bitter and creamy.

just matters I have seen from 50 baht/kg (unopened) and up to 300 baht/ 100g (opened)
