So glad you enjoy JM's Blends. A few years ago I had the oppotunity to visit his shop and meet JM and his daughter. What a wonderful gentleman and family. His is not only a wonderful Blender, as is his son, he is also a craftsman and makes wonderful pipes. They are each unique and signed. If you ever travel to Pennsylvania, USA, you have to be sure to stop by his shop in Alexandria PA.
Sir: Another good video. I think your manner is so pleasant. Regarding Boswell, I wanted to bring your attention to something you may have had the pleasure to enjoy already. If so, pardon the redundancy of this part of my post. Specifically the nirvana to which I refer is ‘Boswell’s Best’. If I remember correctly the description, it’s a Cavendish/Virginia/Black Vanilla Cavendish that has same cut as your sample in this video. Technically it’s an aromatic, but it’s about as much of an all-day smoke as a sweet smoke can be. This is the blend that Mr. B. supposedly smoked in his shop without selling until enough customers asked to try it. Your wife’s carry-on might not be able to accommodate it, but I know from a recent order that Boswell is selling 16 oz. in its own acrylic candy-style jar for $75. Quite the deal. I like this option because I can nip several bowls from jar and then slide in a Boveda pack to ‘cellar’ the whole jar. Up to 3 of the jars will stack nicely. Based on this video, I’m going to order a 16 oz. acrylic jar of ‘Northwoods’ to put in my 2024 stack. Be well. [p.s. Unfortunately I don’t travel anymore due to disability, but, if I did, I’d bring you some Boswell + Country Squire bulk in appreciation of your efforts.]
Thank you Will for your detailed comment & suggestions of the Boswells Best that I would now need to find someone besides my wife travelling to bring it to me as I have too much already for her to carry😀 I wish you good health
I love your Channel because you are so enthusiastic and honest with your reviews. You can really tell when you enjoy a blend! Great Video! Keep up the great work. 🎩
Thank you for sharing your description and impressions of that blend. I am thinking that might be mellow enough for me to try. Have a wonderful weekend!
Good Morning 😊 Beautiful Pipe 😍 Northwoods is a Wonderful Blend 😋 Fantastic Review👌🏽Appreciate Your Thoughts on The Blend 👍🏼 Another Top Shelve Video🏆 Have a Great Day and Greetings From South Africa 🇿🇦
Brilliant review of the Northwoods Nathan. You described it perfectly & i love it too. Btw @8:43 i am one of those who polish my pipe silver band on a regular basis 😁 Have a wonderful evening. Regards. Daniel & Beth
Excellent review, as always. I wish my palate were as discerning as is yours. Well done. If I may offer some advice regarding lighter re-filling, it is advisable to bleed out any remaining gas and air prior to butane refill. That way, any residual air in the tank will not cause problems with a lighter's future reliability. Cheers!🥂 ☮
Thanks. Probably years of vaping tobacco liquids have sharpened my tastes buds & enabled me to detect fine tobacco nuances. As for the lighter tip yes that is good advice👍
Have never tried Boswells blends, am addicted to Sutliff products. Have heard his are good though. Cannot wait for holiday season to break out an unsmoked Savinelli 2023 Christmas pipe. On Christmas day will open up 2024 Savinelli Christmas pipe.
I hope one day you guys are able to get more American blends and vice versa. Your shot at getting Germain’s is better. I’ve heard Germain’s Latakia flake is also quite good, according to London Calling with Simon. I’m still working up to sweet Latakia blends, I’m used to the dryness of Dunhill English mixtures. I’m still warming up to American cavendish as well. Latakia is sort of an unfamiliar odor for me, I’m much more used to Dark Fired Kentucky, I suspect it’s a regional thing. I need to try Boswell’s one day. Thanks for the video.
I wish that Matt life would be sweeter😊 I managed to find some tins of the Germains Latakia flake in Ireland of all places. My review on this excellent blend here. ua-cam.com/video/AZHTCGPAZlw/v-deo.htmlsi=DO2HKeQZDFwEgVIH. I am looking forward to reviewing the C&D Sensepolcro which is based on dark fired Kentucky
@@TheVapingPiper I’m eager to hear what you think. I love strong blends and Sansepolcro is one of the strong ones I enjoy. I’ll smoke some myself in the next day or so, looking forward to your thoughts.
The frustration you have Nathan with having trouble finding US blends in the UK are the same frustrations I have with getting La Tabacharia and some of the other delicious e-juices you talk about in America :(
Yes I you are absolutely right Jason. It is so frustrating. The only sure way is by finding friends & family who travel between US & UK. If only you know to what lengths do I go to get hold of certain US blends😂

I would love to pay Boswell’s a visit one day. The only issue I can foresee, is what a child with some pocket money would do in a sweet shop😂

Thank you Carolina yes it is mellow enough even for those who don't like the typical taste of English blend. Wonderful weekend to you too
@@TheVapingPiper thanks!
Black coffee with a bit of pure Maple syrup, and bit of Jameson. Makes for great coffee.
Thanks for the tip John😊
